5. Waste disposal
■ As per construction & demolition waste management rules 2016
■ Have provisions for generator and local authority
■ Generator has the responsibility for collection ,segregation and storage of waste
■ Generator also has to ensure the avoidance of mixing of C&D waste and solid waste
■ Generator also has to prepare waste management plan and get it approved by local
authority (20 tonnes /day or 300 tonnes /month )
■ Waste collected has to be kept in premises or dumped to designated sites ( landfills ) or
should be handed over for treatment
■ Authority has the responsibility of

– Collection and transportation of waste
– Maintenance of records
– Instalation of processing facilities
