1. Teaser trailer and Theatrical trailer.
A teaser trailer is the finished product of a film with a length between 1-2mins not
revealing to much to the audience instead small parts of the film usually the most
interesting parts or it starts with an idea of a normal every day life then the disruption
of that life for the characters however not giving the ending away. This could support
Todorovs theory of Equilibrium and Disequilibrim however going against the theory
of there being an ending of Equilibrium.
A theatrical trailer is about double the length of a teaser trailer being about 4mins
long. A theatrical trailer gives the majority of the plot away to the audience showing
footage from the film however the film isn’t necessarily done but the parts that are
would be shown, usually its in its final days of editing.
