during interviews to help create emotion

informal to relate to the audience

This is followed along with cut aways to make the documentary visually
entertaining to look at.
8. Editing
• Cutaways are used to help cover the use of jump cuts during an
interview
• Questions asked are edited out the majority of the time and it helps
to create flow and it looks like the interviewee is speaking freely.
• Some questions are kept in however to create context for example
The designer in Evans is asked if he finds Tess Holliday attractive and
he responds by saying that it is not his place to answer. This would
not make sense if it was on its own
9. Achieve material
• Old videos of modelling are shown to contrast the size of the women
shown in the documentary
• Women shopping in Evans- This shows the large age of the store
• Newspapers are shown to show opposing views.
10. Graphics
• Opening titles and closing credits are included in the documentary
• With interviews the name of the person is shown along with their job title
• Social media hashtag is shown to entertain the audience outside of the
programme and to keep them interested with the growing popularity of social
media
