SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHERS OF BANCAL

A range of studies have been carried
out on the importance of electronic
resources to the success of teaching
and learning engagements in open
and distance learning institutions.
This study sought to fill this gap by
exploring the experiences of
distance pre-service teacher trainees
while accessing and utilizing
electronic resources and provide
recommendations that can further
help the institutions offering teacher
training by distance in producing
competent teaching personnel that
meets the demand for quality
teaching and learning in today’s
elementary and high schools.
This study will cover Social Studies
Teachers of Bancal Integrated
School about the utilization and
Flexibility of e-learning resources, is
there any technical knowledge or
skill required in accessing or using
them, the level of availability of
support to provide timely feedback
to learners, are there help desk or
support staff available in case
learners encounter any difficulty
while accessing or trying to utilize
the e-resources.

learning or RA 10650 is our
government’s way of promoting
education and access to educational
services using modern technology.
Distance education is a concept that
has gained significant popularity
over the past few years. Distance
learning programs have helped
many students who are unable to
attend campus-based or full-time
courses to realize their educational
aspirations. With distance education,
learning instruction is disseminated
over the internet through an online
learning portal or video conference
software.
This research will study the
challenges faced by the social
studies students during open and
distance learning modalities that
affects the student’s retention of
knowledge and academic
performance based on the
perspective of BSE Social Studies
students at College of Teacher
Education at President Ramon
