PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
Approve and coordinate approval of application designs and/or change management strategies (including training and
communication) for statewide business automation tool which improved on-time entry of data insuring real-time
access to client information resulting in more informed decisions for protection of abused/neglected children and
vulnerable adults.
Managed statewide transition to mobile-working tools and methods improving on-the-go documentation, faster access
to resources, and just-in-time client support.
Developed and implemented a 10-step strategy for successful implementation and operationalization of mobile-
working policy, process, and best practice.
Successfully implement communication processes to collaborate with field leadership and remote teams, improving
organizational efficiencies and cost savings by utilizing GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, SurveyMonkey, SharePoint,
YouTube, IdeaScale, Poll Everywhere, conference calls, and other online or electronic software/hardware which
maximizes participation of essential stakeholders and minimizes time commitment and travel.
Research and write procedures for standardizing child death investigation procedures.
Test and approve proposed hardware and software initiatives improving and streamlining statewide business processes
for staff in the field.
Identify, track and communicate application enhancement needs, approving requirements and designs based on
business needs, legislative mandates, and/or defects.
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
Initiated and currently manage successful agency employee engagement campaign, to include recognition ceremonies,
promotion announcements, 'Did You Know' articles addressing employee-identified needs or concerns, promotional
video, and other activities to support employee morale and retention.
Work closely with executive leadership, top division leaders, and mid-level managers to realize the vision and direction
of the organization maintain an employee-first environment that attracts and retains talent.
Implemented executive leader’s vision for first statewide recognition ceremony for agency, involving all logistical and
planning deliverables - from invitations through event planning, travel management, creation of programs, award
certificates, event set-up, security, refreshments, parking, reception and registration, employee contact and follow-up,
management of resources and support teams, troubleshooting, and after-action.
Founded and manage the first support professionals’ initiative to provide training, agency awareness, and hands-on
support for support staff relating to education, work tasks, and personnel needs.
Founded military veteran organization for state employees entitled MilVets, providing information and support in
accordance with state/federal laws and agency recruitment and retention efforts.
More than 15 years directly and positively engaging employees, finding opportunities to improve work environments
and/or improve attitudes about work environments.
PROJECT/PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Implement and successfully manage agile change management strategies for ongoing modernization of multi-million-
dollar IT business applications supporting 13000 employees, ensuring smooth transitions in policy, process, and
practice, enabling adoption and minimizing impact to client and stakeholder services.
Manage and develop project schedules, deliverables, planning, business process mapping, implementation, analysis,
and follow-up activities on technology and business processes ensuring wrap-around support.

Build and lead IT project change management work groups and cross-functional process improvement teams.
Manage eLearning and communication specialists in developing technology training and communications for an
organization of 13000 utilizing interactive online tools, engaging and enhancing retention supporting multiple learning
and communication needs, including accessibility.
Coordinated Drug-Endangered Children Taskforce in 8-county area involving law enforcement, medical professionals,
school districts, and other social service organizations which improved collaborations resulting in better client outcomes.
Managed account relationships with international companies, such as: HEB, CIBA, Owens Corning.
