Responsibilities includeded the sales and marketing of 5 care homes; effective marketing the
homes through finding and delivering qualified leads; selling the care homes through discovering,
presenting and closing qualified leads with the objective of reaching and maintaining occupancy
and revenue goals. I was responsible for training staff members and coaching other members of
the care homes teams as required. This was a new and temporary position within the company.

YTM Furniture is a leading manufacturer and supplier of furniture for the care, education and
hotel market, leading the way in innovation and market awareness. They employ 212 people and
turn over £13m. I am responsible for selling a turn key service around the south east of England
and the Channel Islands covering all market sectors
Key duties
Cold calling and acquiring new clients
Building client relationships to ensure repeat business
Liaising with all departments within the company to ensure the smooth running of all projects
Project managing all jobs until the point of installation
Producing layouts for installation teams to follow
Working with clients to achieve their desired outcome either on design or expected revenues

Took on a new area with a turnover of around £680 and achieved £1.2 million by the end of
2007
Sales person of the year last 4 years for highest achievement over target.
Selling soft furnishings, furniture, textiles, lighting etc into all market sectors majoring in the care
industry and education sector. Often involved in a turnkey service.
Took over the Channel Islands 18 months ago and with training of island distributers am seeing a
substantial growth year on year. 2006 both Islands achieved £89,000 2007 £229,000 2008 to end
of February £55,000
Raised the profile of Mitre on the area within the hotel market.
Increased the database on the area by 35%
Was instrumental in introducing two new product lines into textile range
