This document provides an overview of a website called "Project Ideas" that will provide project ideas to students. It will include details of past student projects categorized by department. Students can view projects, request to continue existing projects, and rate projects. The website aims to help students overcome difficulties in selecting project ideas. It will have pages for the homepage, about us, project details, contact, and be accessible only to students of the university for security. The duration for the project is estimated to be 4 months.

PROJECT TITLE: “PROJECT IDEAS”
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
“PROJECTIDEAS” is a website which will help you in getting project ideas of
various fields. It is basically for the students ofNED who faceproblems regarding
their project ideas (it may be their final year project idea too). This platform will
provide them a facility to overcome this trouble and keep them updated that on
what kind of projects students of the university are working.
OBJECTIVES:
This website or portal will becomprised of details ofall the projects on which the
students have worked up till now. This will provide them a huge variety ofproject
ideas. The objective of this project is to provide proper guidance to students
regarding their project. It will provide them a platform to interact with the
previous work or what kind of projects could be made.
SCOPE:
The projects will be categorized according to the departments. The students can
visit the concerned department and canhave a look at the project ideas and if they
want to continue someone’s project or want to make enhancement in it so they
can send a request to the concerned authority for the approval of the continuation
of the project. If the authorities find him eligible for the project, then they will
assign them that project.
FEATURES:
This project would probably consist of following page:
 Home page (Main page)
 About us page (The details of the website. What this website is
about? Who is the targeted audience? How it can be beneficial for
the users?)
 Project page: Project details. Administrator will have the authority
to add the projects.
 You can also rate the projects.
 Contact us page that if you want to continue someone’s project or
want to give the feedback.

2. ASSUMPTIONS AND RISKS:
As it will be website which can be accessed by everyone. Therefore, any
unauthorized person can get our project ideas and post them as his own. For
security concerns, we have limited the access of Project Ideas section for just
NEDIANS. They can access through their portal id’s.
APPROACH:
The approach for this project are all the students who are willing to do some
projects but confused about the idea. They have skills to utilize but lacking with
an appropriate idea. This will be generic product.
ORGANIZATION:
The project sponsor is Miss Nazish Irfan. The team members working on this
project are Kashaf Nazir (SE-007) and Yumna Asim (SE-016).
INITIAL EFFORTS AND DURATION ESTIMATES:
The initial efforts required for this project would be learning different
Programming Languages (Html, CSS, JavaScript, Sql, Bootstrap). The duration
estimate would be 4 months.
