• COVID-19
• Viral hemorrhagic diseases
• Malaria due to P. Falciparum
• Viral hepatitis
• Typhoid
• Amoebiasis/Amoebic liver abscess
• Leishmaniasis

period:
• Dengue (2-5 days)
• Lassa, Ebola and others (3-21 days)
• Japanese Encephalitis (3-7 days)
• Yellow fever (3-6 days)
• Typhoid (1-2 days)
• Malaria (Pv-10 days to year-relapses; Pf 10-28 days)
• SARS (2-10 days) and other respiratory viruses.
• COVID-19 (7-14 days)

• Hepatitis A
• Typhoid
• Rabies
• Meningococcal disease
• Polio
• Japanese encephalitis

7. Post travelling consultation :
• Elicit a history of travel with knowledge about incubation period.
• Isolation now is very effective to control some unknown epidemic as
COVID-19
• Investigation and management of some post-travel illnesses will be
urgent because they are life threatening and/or a threat to public
health.

• Where ?
• When ? How long?
• Did you stay in one place or multiple?
• Ask about accommodation condition?
• Ask about activity and hazard exposure to any material?
• Did he use protective methods?

• Do you have any symptoms? While travelling or after retain home?
• Ask about out break of diseases at that area?
• Ask about any sexual activity?
• Ask about animal bite?

other protection methods?
• Ask about prophylaxis drugs compliant ?
