• Responsible for building Leroy Somer’s (A Business Unit of Emerson Industrial
Automation, USA) Alternators & Motor business in India from zero in 1995 to a
respectable level of 55 Crore’s till 2002.
• Subsequently worked on JV with Control Group for Alternator Business which was
spinned off as a separate legal entity & unit.
• Currently handling a business for Motors & Drives (M&D) as a Director Sales to a
tune of Rs.100 Crore’s. Sales being done mainly through Channel Partner’s &
OEM’s.
• Responsible for building Brand image of the company through various marketing
activities.
• Set up a green field for assembly/manufacture of special purpose Elevator motors in
Noida which recently underwent expansion. Responsible for the P&L of the
factory.
• Responsible for introducing Electric motors for Larsen & Toubro in a small tenure of
3 months.
• Responsible for Handling Sales for Motors in MDU Department in Siemens, Mumbai
to the tune of 6 Crores which included Sales through OEM’s, End users & channel
partners.
• Subsequently handled Sales of 10 Crore’s for Motors in MDU Department of Siemens
Bangalore office as Asst.Manager-MDU Sales & Marketing.
• Responsible for developing Sales for Alternators in 1994 introduced by Crompton
Greaves Ltd.

maximize price realization and provide input to centralized price team to

 Support/Assist in the development of localized sales tools and marketing
material for the Indian market.
 Identify and recommends the short, medium, and long-term business

• Handled the added responsibility of overlooking the Operations for Leroy Somer
Motors manufacturing facility which included the P&L responsibility till 2014.

II) Larsen & Toubro Ltd: Worked as DGM-Product management for a small
span of 3 months. Responsible for launching L&T motors in the market.
III] Siemens Ltd; Mumbai as a Senior Executive Marketing from August 1993
till June 1996. Subsequently promoted as Asst. Manager Marketing – MDU
Division, Bangalore for Motors as a profit centre incharge.
Worked for this office only for a small time from Jan’96 till June’96 due to the
above opportunity.
