2. SONG: RIGHT MY WRONGS by BRYSON TILLER
This song is from
Bryson Tiller’s
‘TRAPSOUL’ album
The genre is
contemporary
R&B
The song has a slow
tempo but also
incorporates a slightly
rhythmic beat
I wanted to use a
slightly slow song
instead of an
upbeat and
happy one
because I could
focus on the sad
emotions which
would be more
intriguing for an
audience
3. STORY OVERVIEW:
The song is about Bryson recognising is faults within a relationship he used
to be in and confessing his feelings of not being able to live without her. This
music video will present Vince lip syncing to the song whilst walking down a
street but also have flash back memories of his past relationship with
Perside in black and white.

4. STORYBOARD
This establishing shot is inspired by Henry Lau’s music
video. It is from the K-pop genre but the filmography was
very professional and influential. In this scene, the sky and
the shot of Henry is filmed separately. During the editing
process, the sky is put on a time lapse and gets layered
under the shot of the artist on the rooftop. For this to work
successfully, the shot on top needs to be dark.

5. Both good (e.g. going on dates) and bad
memories (e.g. arguments)
This is the moment he meets Perside
6. In this scene I am going to use a split screen to present the facial expressions of both individuals. The idea was inspired by
Charlie Puth’s ‘We don’t talk anymore’ and Noah Cyrus’s ‘Make me cry’ music videos. This is where Vince and Perside happen
to meet each other on the street randomly. The emotions of regret, loss and heart break are brought back to them.
7. The music video will then focus on Vince lip syncing with occasional breaks through different shots of the sky,
slow motion of cars driving down a street, shots of Perside using direct address etc. Here are a few examples
of what my ideas are:
LOCATION
• The location of the music video is not clear set but I will be going to places like Birmingham City where there
are wide pavements to film Vince walking or busy roads.
• For the nature shots like flowers, I am planning to go to a local park or the Lickey Hills.
• I am planning to film the ‘memories’ during the Christmas season so I can get a few shots during the German
Market in Birmingham.
