Correcting several data information like: date, time, digital mimic display, and
comparing digital measurement values with the physical measurement values.
Preparing AC & DC UPS for the battery discharge test by switching it from
service mode to test mode, and then to maintenance mode.
Following the method statement document to complete the remaining steps,
and the connecting the portable load test bank to the battery output terminals.
Calculating the consumed power and comparing it with the batteries autonomy
to verify the batteries performance.
Visually check for the charger, inverter, capacitors, and the static switch.
Replacing capacitors bank due to end or their lifetime.
Participating with vendor of LCDC pipeline protection as following:
Yemen LNG gas plant in Balhaf is fed from SAFER oil plant in MAEIB, via
320Km length of pipeline.
This pipeline is divided into 10 ball valve station BVS, each BVS is installed
after 32Km from the previous BVS.
Each BVS is powered electrically by thermal electric generator TEG, by
generating electrical power via burning natural gas.
Generated electrical power supplies each BVS loads like: control system,
SCADA system, CCTV, cathodic protection…etc.
On March 2013 a decision was made to install an anti-intrusion detecting
system by using the optical fiber as a sensor to give information to be processed
and analyzed digitally.
