In operation and maintenance dept. I am responsible for receiving and
completing of Permit to work, carried out isolation/de-isolation for
High & low voltage, medium voltage system, assisting for high voltage

3. system, with switching program (220kv, 33 KV, 11 KV, 6.6kv,415V,
system).
Responsible for preparation, installation, testing, maintenance,
inspection, pre-commissioning, troubleshooting, rectification, and
modification of electrical power system, electrical equipment in
hazardous and non-hazardous area. Other operation and maintenance
activities carried out as below.
 Operation and maintenance of HT, LT transformers 2000KVA to150MVA
 Operation and maintenance of Gas turbine & Stream turbine 32 MW.
 Operation and maintenance of 220KV &132KV Switch Yard.
 Operation and maintenance of 2.2 MW Emergency Diesel Generator.
 Operation and maintenance of 500 TPH Boiler and HT&LT panel boards.
 Operation and maintenance of GIS Switch board.
 Operation and maintenance of ACB, VCBs & SF6 (Siemens- &
ABB,220,132,33, 11 & 6.6 KV) And VC (Motor Feeder-6.6kv).

Commissioning work in Cairn Energy India ltd.
Cairn Energy India Pty Ltd.-Barmer Rajasthan. Involved in
commissioning of Electrical system in Oil and gas processing plant with
capacity of 2, 35,000 barrels per day.
Following commissioning activities were carried out during project
stage in Electrical system:
 Commissioning and maintenance of air cooled condenser type 4 x 4 MW
Steam turbines Generator and its auxiliary drives.
 Commissioning and maintenance of 3 x 2.2 MVA Emergency DG sets.

4.  Commissioning of Thermax make 150 x4 TPH Boiler HT and LT drives and
MOVs.
 Commissioning and maintenance of HT and LT motors ratings up to 5350
KW (Flam proof & Non Flam proof ) supplied by world class reputed vendor
like ABB, Siemens, BHEL, G.E. and CGL.
 Commissioning, Maintenance and operation of ABB make 33 KV, 11 KV, 6.6
KV switch boards and L&T make LT switch boards.
 Commissioning and maintenance of HT, LT power and distribution
transformers up to 20/26 MVA.
Nature of work Experience:
 Testing, commissioning and maintenance of all Electrical equipment from
415 volts to 132 KV System.
 Testing, commissioning and maintenance of control & relay panel for
Transformer, Bus Coupler, Bus-Transfer, and Line feeder.
 Testing, commissioning and maintenance of power control centre and
motor control centre.
 Knowledge of Generator Protection, Transformer protection, Transformer
Differential Protection & REF Protection, Bus Differential protection,
Motor protection, and synchronizing scheme.
 Testing of CT, PT, Circuit breaker, Indoor switch gear and Power
Transformer.
 Operation and Maintenance of Process Plant and sub-station.
 Checking of various equipment schemes.
 Co-ordination with testing of latest numerical relays RE series ABB make &
of EHV lines, bus bars and transformer protection.
