Political Parties Essay
The Labor Party
The labor Party is made up of men and women who do and do not have jobs. They believe themselves to be the keepers of the American dream,
providing opportunity and justice. They believe that every American has the right to a decent paying job and a good place to live, that by joining the
union there should be no fear of getting fired, to free, quality public education for themselves and their children, to universal access to publicly fund,
comprehensive, quality health care for all residents.
5 issues that the Labor Party supports:

5. Protect our families– they feel that every worker in America in the United States should have the right to benefits such as paid family leave,
flexible work hours, and affordable child and elder leave. However over half of the workers in the United States are not getting more than half of
these benefits. They believe that every worker should have the option to select a package in which there work will accommodate such choices.
The Grassroots Party
Was formed 14 years ago to stop the prohibition of marijuana in the United States. This party is made up of both Republican and democrats, who
believe that marijuana should become legal. The Grassroots Party are strong supporters of American Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
5 issues the Grassroots party believes in:
1. Increase Jobs– They believe that if marijuana was legal, that it would provide America with more working opportunities and better paying jobs. As
a source of pulp for paper, one acre of hemp yields as much as four acres of trees. Marijuana seeds also contain more highly digestible protein than
soybeans leaving more room for other important natural resources.
2. Sustainable Economy and Healthy Environment– By legalizing pot in American, it can be tasted to help reduce debt in the United States, and
provide sick people with it to help reduce their pain and ease their suffering. It

Essay On Political Party
The history of the two political party dates back to 1778 , the establishment of the constitution . The party then were called federalist (modern day
republicans ) And anti federalists ( modern day democrats ) Both had different views on how the government should be ran . Federalists believed in a
strong central government , Then the anti federalist believed in a week central government were states had most of the power . at the time America just
gained its independence from Great Britain . So naturally people did not want a strong central government . So the articles of confederation was passed .
This bill gave the states to much power and the government could barley sustain it self. So the constitution was in play at the Delaware convention .

Purpose Of A Political Party
The purpose of a political party is to WIN the governing office. The United States has only two major parties that are eligible to be voted into the
president's position. Why is there only two dominant parties? Shouldn't there be more options for American citizens? Two main political parties alone
seem to dominate the American political system. Although, no one can stop a third party from joining a presidential race the support from the
plurality system. It can usually ruin its chances of winning. Third parties may have statistically significant support (maybe 15 percent of voters in
every district supports a third party). Will this ever change? "In fact, since 1852, a candidate from the Republican or a Democratic parties has placed

Political Party Issues
Political Party Issues In political campaigns, the viewpoints of the individual candidates are often reflective of the positions of their political parties.
In the upcoming presidential election, there are issues which have the power to divide the nation. One of the most divisive issues at present is the
question of gay marriage and whether or not the federal government should weigh in on what has thus far been a states' rights issue. Both on the state
and national levels, the perspective of the people in the various political jurisdictions will determine the way in which they vote. If a party agrees
with the population's view on an issue, the people will be more likely to vote with that party. The two major parties, the Republicans and Democrats,
have officially been against gay marriage although a few have differed from the party's position. Less is known where some of the "third" parties, such
as the Green Party, Libertarian Party, and Constitution Party, stand on the issue. I support same–sex marriage because I see no valid arguments against
it. The majority of arguments against gay marriage are based on religious perspective. In the United States, the First Amendment to the Constitution
guarantees separation of church and state. Therefore, religion should not have a place in either the formulation or implementation of legislation,
including questions of who has the right to get married in this country. The Green Party was founded with the intention of making

means that they act on the debt ceiling. It is also one of the two major contemporary political parties that here in the United States.

foreign policy.

I also like how they act on the Congress. I don't that there is a habit of short–termism because the leaders/governments are generally elected to serve a
certain amount of time and there are many concerns about getting re–elected. This all means that some social, environmental, and economic problems
require longer–term solutions.
Republican
I like that there are many different parts of the party. I like that the party has many ideas, conservatism, economic liberalism, fiscal conservatism, and
social conservatism. What I don't like is that there is a long lasting dominance of democratic and Republican parties. Also, I don't like that the 3rd
parties tend to be expressions of discontent with two major parties. Not to mention, the third parties have a little chance, and there are fears of majority
tyranny.
Libertarian
I like that it gives us individual freedom, social liberals, economic conservatives, and non–interventionist foreign policy. I don't like the abortion that
this party has because (to me) abortion is just like murder and I don't agree with it, so that is the only thing that I don't really like.

Impact Of Political Parties On Democracy
Political parties act as an integral part to the working of democracy. It serves as an organization (of the people) to represent their common interest
and needs. However, the effectiveness of a democracy can vary greatly and political parties play a significant role in doing so, thus, strengthening or
weakening the democracy. In the following paragraphs, I hope to point out that Political parties do, in fact, help in promoting and strengthening
democracy even if they are flawed. Democracy, as I see it, is a political system consisting of four key elements, (i) free and fair elections, (ii) active
participation of people in politics, (iii) protection of human rights and (iv) rule of law. A democracy is strong when they execute these four–key
elements with effectively although, it tends to weaken if even one of these criterions aren't met. I analyzed how political parties such as PT in Brazil, the
PJ in Argentina and PAN in Mexico helped in promoting democracy by proposing an alternative to the current political system and increasing the
involvement of the citizens into the political system. Political parties can have both positive and negative impact on Democracy, however, they are
indispensable for the working of a Democracy as well as promoting it.
(a)After the great depression, a military coup was initiated during the infamous decade in Argentina (1930–1943), characterized by electoral fraud,
persecution of the political opposition (mainly against the UCR) and pervasive

political spectrum? Instead of telling you where I lie on the political spectrum let's talk about where the four major parties lie on the spectrum. The four
4 major political parties include the Democratic party, the Republican party, the Libertarian party and the Green party. The Democratic Party is neither
completely liberal nor completely conservative they are in the middle. The Democratic nominee for this year's presidential election is Hillary Clinton.

Starting with the Democratic party, they want to expand the promise of citizenship to those who are still seeking freedom. They believe that the
undocumented immigrants who are paying taxes, working hard, and are providing for our economy deserve a path to American citizenship.
Immigration is one of the issues that republicans have a very strong conservative approach on, they only support legal immigration. They believe that in
this country, the law assures equal treatment to everyone, including many immigrants to whom we grant permanent residence to. That is why they
oppose any amnesty to illegal immigrants because all that would do is encourage more people to break the law. On this issue, the Libertarian party has
a more left side approach they want full amnesty for undocumented immigrants and want to eliminate any restrictions on immigrants. The libertarian
party's perspective is just another reason why they lie in the center of the political spectrum. The Green party wants undocumented citizens to be
granted a legal status and get a chance to become an American citizen. "That means... creating legal status and a path to citizenship for hard–working,
law–abiding undocumented immigrants" (Jill

Selecting a Political Party Essay
There is one right given to americans that seems to stand for all of the rights and that is voting. The right of voting is the right given to all Americans
who are at least eighteen years old. Voting is the foundation in which Americans can gain more rights. For most being American and voting is a big
deal. Most will say it's our constitutional right. Voting is knowing that the person or people that one decides to choose represents him or her. The
people who are voted into a office will ultimately be making governmental decisions for Americans. These decisions represent and reflect the American
people whether they like them or not.
Nevertheless if one is voting he or she has to make a choice between what political party will best...show more content...
Still, I did have to see the very options that democrats provided for Americans. Who were the faces of democrats? Then I began to notice people like
Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were the faces of a democrat. Honestly, I took a liking to them; they didn't look like ones typical politician. They
were both minorities in their positions in government; Hillary a female who ran for president, Barack Obama I man whose skin wasn't of the
majority and is now president. Democrats seemed to be making history and that caught my eye. The democrats seemed to be all full of new ideas and
movements it became apparent that they might be for me. But even so I needed to know what was great about the other political party.
Republicans or people who believes in or supports the republic form of government, was the next political party that I looked at. Subsequently, I had to
take a look at the word "republic," to understand what it meant. According to Merriam–Webster.com, it means "a country that is governed by elected
representatives and by an elected leader (such as a president) rather than by a king or queen." After reading that definition I began to think to myself
what republicans stand for also has to do with the American idea. Republicans had history with

Their Eyes See Something Different In this world there are two world wide recognized political parties, which are the Democrats, and the
Republicans. Each political party has their own party platforms on several issues. We as a nation divide into groups, and start choosing which side we
are on, whether if its in the Democrats, or Republicans side. Why do we divide into groups? Well the answer easy it is because our views differentiate
from others, and that is why we tend to go with the political party that has the same views as us. In this essay I will be discussing about abortion,
education, and family, and children issues that both the Republicans, and Democrats agree,and...show more content...

love. The Democratic Party says that there should be policies that value family. For example the parents would spend more time with their child. In my
opinion I agree with the democrats that there should be a way that the parents should be able to spend more time with their children. But I also agree
with republicans that the children learn their beliefs and values from their families first. Also that there are other options when it comes to abortions like

Essay on American Political Parties
Political parties are critical structures in the modern society and universal phenomena in most democracies. In fact, they form major objects of
intensive study as they are usually the centre of political and social power. They engage in most activities that are of significant consequence in the
lives of citizens and link the common populace to the government. Therefore, it is important to understand political parties fully from every perspective
of political systems so obtain their real importance in democracies. Apolitical party is basically a group of citizens who converge as voters, activists,
electoral candidates and office holders with a common party label and seek to elect party members into public offices. While modern political...show

The political system of America is very different from other developed and developing democracies. Most notable is the increased power bestowed on
the upper house of the parliament, the extensive power held by the Supreme Court and the dominance demonstrated by only two major parties. In the
United States, third parties have the least influence on the world's most developed democracy's political structure. In this democracy, people are under
the US Constitution of the governmental system as well as state government and other units of local government. Local government entails counties,
districts and municipalities. The evolution of the American political party system has come a long way; with Hamilton and Jefferson being regarded as
the founder fathers of the modern party system. These were heads of the Federalist and Anti–Federalist groups in the 18th century of American politics.
Ever since, the country has maintained a party system that has two main parties that are relatively stable. These are Democrats and Republicans and
have remained in contest for election every time since the 1860 presidential elections. Initially, the Republican Party was the dominant party but the
Democrats later gained dominance. However, the two parties became closely competitive and neither of them has been notably dominant since the
1970s (O'Connor & Sabato, n.d).

Political Parties And Interest Groups Essay
The American political system has many different aspects that all work together in order to make it work. Two things that add to the system are
political parties and interest groups. These two specifically are extremely important because they both contribute greatly to the election process, which
is where the political process starts. They are the two most influential bodies that communicate with the citizens. This essay will analyze the
contributions that political parties and interest groups give in the election process and in official's decision making process. Political parties are the
entities that communicate with the people most directly. If someone were to ask people about their ideology, many people would actually state their
party affiliation. The reason for this is because it is the parties that...show more content...
Just like interest groups "Parties mainly push their own agendas and aim to get voters to go along" (Bawn, Cohen, Karol, Masket, Noel, Zaller PG:

use things such as money and public publicity to push their voice. This is why they tend to work together so closely in order to push on issues. A
great example of this would be when the National Rifle Association (NRA) partners with the Republican Party to gain support on gun right issues. It is
seen that they are very similar but they also have differences in the way that they are organized and operate. Parties have much more power in the
government because they helped almost all of the officials get in to their position and gain support. Plus they almost have total control over the election
process. Interest groups only have weapons (money, public support) that they can use to attempt to influence

Political Party Vs. Politics
Political party or anything in connection with politics is a common topic of every group of Indian who are sitting together at any place. It is always a
debatable topic. Most of Indians are very much interested in politics. We look at formation of many parties; we find that their establishment are mainly
due to ideological differences that result in split in parent party and at the end leads to formation of a new political party with a new agenda.
In multi–party system like India, the parties can be classified into three types' i.e.; National parties, Regional parties and State parties. The status of the
party is granted by Election Commission of India and after that it is reviewed occasionally. All the parties whether national, Regional or State party, they
are registered with Election Commission. A unique election symbol is given by the Election Commission to every registered party
Currently there are 7 National parties and 56 State parties. The total number of registered unrecognised parties in India is 1786. There are mainly nine
regional parties out of 657 Regional parties. There are 12 other upcoming parties.
The Election Commission mandates certain rules regarding starting a new political party in India like;
1.Every new party to have at least 100 members.[There are no set rules on how or who to recruit, it's up to the party]
2.Each member is required to hold an Indian voter ID card.
3.Individuals must be 18 years old [major].

The two major political parties, organizations made up of those seeking control of Government offices through elections, often clash due to each party's

United States President that are usually representative of a state's overall vote. Clinton lost consistently blue states such as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin,
indicating a shift with both liberal and moderate party identification, how an individual's is loyalty to or identifies with a political party. This election
serves as a perfect example of the Rational Choice Theory, a theory used frequently in political science to explain how an individual votes based on
their own best interest. In the case of this election, Donald Trump won the presidency as his party platform focused primarily on economic stimulation
which appealed most Americans interests, unlike Clinton's whose objectives and principles as President were focused on cultural issues. The

The Role Of Political Parties
Political parties have a big role in our government. Norton.com states "A political party is a team of politicians, activist, and voters whose goal is to
win control of the government." There are two types of political parties the most popular are the republicans and democrats. The second type of
political party is third parties. Popular third parties are the green and libertarian party. Political parties have a big role in the government by their
political views, by selecting candidates, mobilize voters, and monitoring the opposing party. One of the political party's roles in the government is
sharing their political views. Every four years political parties write their party platform. A party platform is a written document listing that parties
views and beliefs. Candidates will run under their party platforms views during an election. If the candidate is elected he or she will vote for things in
their favorable view. This means a government official will run the country under their party platform, and they will vote for things in their favor and
their party favor. Republicans are pro–life, against medical marijuana, and against LGBT laws. Democrats are pro–choice, for medical marijuana, and
for LGBT laws. The two main parties have opposite views and beliefs and that' why their platforms are so different. Parties share their political
views with the public to gain support from people that share the same views and beliefs. Parties will also share the opposing party's views to gain
more support for people against those views. Political parties also have to nominate candidates to run our country like the president and vice president.
Political parties have a big role in the government by selecting candidates. To select a candidate political parties must go through a two–step process
recruiting and nominating candidates. Parties are looking for someone that meets the requirements of the position that they are recruiting for, an
unblemished record, a credible candidate, and the ability to raise money. The next step in the process is nominating a candidate. The party will
nominate the candidate with a higher chance to win. A candidate can be nominated at a convention or caucus, through the primaries, or

Political Parties Essay

  • 1. Political Parties Essay The Labor Party The labor Party is made up of men and women who do and do not have jobs. They believe themselves to be the keepers of the American dream, providing opportunity and justice. They believe that every American has the right to a decent paying job and a good place to live, that by joining the union there should be no fear of getting fired, to free, quality public education for themselves and their children, to universal access to publicly fund, comprehensive, quality health care for all residents. 5 issues that the Labor Party supports: 1. Guarantee Everyone a Job at a Living Wage– They believe that Corporate America and the rich and powerful and taking millions of jobs for other people. At this...show more content... 5. Protect our families– they feel that every worker in America in the United States should have the right to benefits such as paid family leave, flexible work hours, and affordable child and elder leave. However over half of the workers in the United States are not getting more than half of these benefits. They believe that every worker should have the option to select a package in which there work will accommodate such choices. The Grassroots Party Was formed 14 years ago to stop the prohibition of marijuana in the United States. This party is made up of both Republican and democrats, who believe that marijuana should become legal. The Grassroots Party are strong supporters of American Constitution and the Bill of Rights. 5 issues the Grassroots party believes in: 1. Increase Jobs– They believe that if marijuana was legal, that it would provide America with more working opportunities and better paying jobs. As a source of pulp for paper, one acre of hemp yields as much as four acres of trees. Marijuana seeds also contain more highly digestible protein than soybeans leaving more room for other important natural resources. 2. Sustainable Economy and Healthy Environment– By legalizing pot in American, it can be tasted to help reduce debt in the United States, and provide sick people with it to help reduce their pain and ease their suffering. • 2. Essay On Political Party The history of the two political party dates back to 1778 , the establishment of the constitution . The party then were called federalist (modern day republicans ) And anti federalists ( modern day democrats ) Both had different views on how the government should be ran . Federalists believed in a strong central government , Then the anti federalist believed in a week central government were states had most of the power . at the time America just gained its independence from Great Britain . So naturally people did not want a strong central government . So the articles of confederation was passed . This bill gave the states to much power and the government could barley sustain it self. So the constitution was in play at the Delaware convention . The Constitution was the first and the biggest compromise between...show more content... This brings me back to the compromise , that's all Democrats and Republicans they propose a bill they seem fit . Then a debate occurs , then a result . You may be asking how do political party get there way or inform the public/ get support. They give information about the other candidate . Info such as mistakes hey made or who they support . They use advertising as well on any platform , such as social media , television etc . The united sates government is in a constant state of passing laws / bills / funding . And with this con–state state their is endless debate so naturally people how even different ideas from the two main political party so they make there own political party . there is not just one type . They may be lasting , or singled issue . So yes a person may create there own political party but know minor political party has won the election since 1856. Minor political party are another example of ideas witch is another debate for us government . This creates more ideas on how the government should due things . More ideas means a better chance at creating a perfect Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Purpose Of A Political Party The purpose of a political party is to WIN the governing office. The United States has only two major parties that are eligible to be voted into the president's position. Why is there only two dominant parties? Shouldn't there be more options for American citizens? Two main political parties alone seem to dominate the American political system. Although, no one can stop a third party from joining a presidential race the support from the plurality system. It can usually ruin its chances of winning. Third parties may have statistically significant support (maybe 15 percent of voters in every district supports a third party). Will this ever change? "In fact, since 1852, a candidate from the Republican or a Democratic parties has placed either Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Political Party Issues Political Party Issues In political campaigns, the viewpoints of the individual candidates are often reflective of the positions of their political parties. In the upcoming presidential election, there are issues which have the power to divide the nation. One of the most divisive issues at present is the question of gay marriage and whether or not the federal government should weigh in on what has thus far been a states' rights issue. Both on the state and national levels, the perspective of the people in the various political jurisdictions will determine the way in which they vote. If a party agrees with the population's view on an issue, the people will be more likely to vote with that party. The two major parties, the Republicans and Democrats, have officially been against gay marriage although a few have differed from the party's position. Less is known where some of the "third" parties, such as the Green Party, Libertarian Party, and Constitution Party, stand on the issue. I support same–sex marriage because I see no valid arguments against it. The majority of arguments against gay marriage are based on religious perspective. In the United States, the First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees separation of church and state. Therefore, religion should not have a place in either the formulation or implementation of legislation, including questions of who has the right to get married in this country. The Green Party was founded with the intention of making Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Political Party Essay Democratic Party 2. Republican Party 3. Libertarian Party 4. Green Party 5. Constitution Party 1. Democratic Party: In the 1890s this party has favored the progressive and liberal political positions, and that they act on the Congress, in which means that they act on the debt ceiling. It is also one of the two major contemporary political parties that here in the United States. 2. Republican Part: There are many ideas, conservatism, economic liberalism, fiscal conservatism, and social conservatism. 3. Libertarian Party: This party is the one that gives us individual freedom, social liberals, economic conservatives, abortion, and non–interventionist foreign policy. 4. Green Party: The Green Party of the United States, in other words, GPUS, is...show more content... I also like how they act on the Congress. I don't that there is a habit of short–termism because the leaders/governments are generally elected to serve a certain amount of time and there are many concerns about getting re–elected. This all means that some social, environmental, and economic problems require longer–term solutions. Republican I like that there are many different parts of the party. I like that the party has many ideas, conservatism, economic liberalism, fiscal conservatism, and social conservatism. What I don't like is that there is a long lasting dominance of democratic and Republican parties. Also, I don't like that the 3rd parties tend to be expressions of discontent with two major parties. Not to mention, the third parties have a little chance, and there are fears of majority tyranny. Libertarian I like that it gives us individual freedom, social liberals, economic conservatives, and non–interventionist foreign policy. I don't like the abortion that this party has because (to me) abortion is just like murder and I don't agree with it, so that is the only thing that I don't really like.

  • 7. Impact Of Political Parties On Democracy Political parties act as an integral part to the working of democracy. It serves as an organization (of the people) to represent their common interest and needs. However, the effectiveness of a democracy can vary greatly and political parties play a significant role in doing so, thus, strengthening or weakening the democracy. In the following paragraphs, I hope to point out that Political parties do, in fact, help in promoting and strengthening democracy even if they are flawed. Democracy, as I see it, is a political system consisting of four key elements, (i) free and fair elections, (ii) active participation of people in politics, (iii) protection of human rights and (iv) rule of law. A democracy is strong when they execute these four–key elements with effectively although, it tends to weaken if even one of these criterions aren't met. I analyzed how political parties such as PT in Brazil, the PJ in Argentina and PAN in Mexico helped in promoting democracy by proposing an alternative to the current political system and increasing the involvement of the citizens into the political system. Political parties can have both positive and negative impact on Democracy, however, they are indispensable for the working of a Democracy as well as promoting it. (a)After the great depression, a military coup was initiated during the infamous decade in Argentina (1930–1943), characterized by electoral fraud, persecution of the political opposition (mainly against the UCR) and pervasive Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Political Party Research Paper Neha Jain Political Party Essay This year's elections are really making history, and one of the most popular questions this year is, where are you on the political spectrum? Instead of telling you where I lie on the political spectrum let's talk about where the four major parties lie on the spectrum. The four 4 major political parties include the Democratic party, the Republican party, the Libertarian party and the Green party. The Democratic Party is neither completely liberal nor completely conservative they are in the middle. The Democratic nominee for this year's presidential election is Hillary Clinton. On the other hand, the Republicans are more to the right side of the Political spectrum. The republican nominee for the presidential...show more content... Starting with the Democratic party, they want to expand the promise of citizenship to those who are still seeking freedom. They believe that the undocumented immigrants who are paying taxes, working hard, and are providing for our economy deserve a path to American citizenship. Immigration is one of the issues that republicans have a very strong conservative approach on, they only support legal immigration. They believe that in this country, the law assures equal treatment to everyone, including many immigrants to whom we grant permanent residence to. That is why they oppose any amnesty to illegal immigrants because all that would do is encourage more people to break the law. On this issue, the Libertarian party has a more left side approach they want full amnesty for undocumented immigrants and want to eliminate any restrictions on immigrants. The libertarian party's perspective is just another reason why they lie in the center of the political spectrum. The Green party wants undocumented citizens to be granted a legal status and get a chance to become an American citizen. "That means... creating legal status and a path to citizenship for hard–working, law–abiding undocumented immigrants" (Jill Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Selecting a Political Party Essay There is one right given to americans that seems to stand for all of the rights and that is voting. The right of voting is the right given to all Americans who are at least eighteen years old. Voting is the foundation in which Americans can gain more rights. For most being American and voting is a big deal. Most will say it's our constitutional right. Voting is knowing that the person or people that one decides to choose represents him or her. The people who are voted into a office will ultimately be making governmental decisions for Americans. These decisions represent and reflect the American people whether they like them or not. Nevertheless if one is voting he or she has to make a choice between what political party will best...show more content... Still, I did have to see the very options that democrats provided for Americans. Who were the faces of democrats? Then I began to notice people like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were the faces of a democrat. Honestly, I took a liking to them; they didn't look like ones typical politician. They were both minorities in their positions in government; Hillary a female who ran for president, Barack Obama I man whose skin wasn't of the majority and is now president. Democrats seemed to be making history and that caught my eye. The democrats seemed to be all full of new ideas and movements it became apparent that they might be for me. But even so I needed to know what was great about the other political party. Republicans or people who believes in or supports the republic form of government, was the next political party that I looked at. Subsequently, I had to take a look at the word "republic," to understand what it meant. According to Merriam–Webster.com, it means "a country that is governed by elected representatives and by an elected leader (such as a president) rather than by a king or queen." After reading that definition I began to think to myself what republicans stand for also has to do with the American idea. Republicans had history with Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Political Party Research Paper Guadalupe Ruiz Ramirez Mr. Betancourt Political Science 2 9 July, 2015 Their Eyes See Something Different In this world there are two world wide recognized political parties, which are the Democrats, and the Republicans. Each political party has their own party platforms on several issues. We as a nation divide into groups, and start choosing which side we are on, whether if its in the Democrats, or Republicans side. Why do we divide into groups? Well the answer easy it is because our views differentiate from others, and that is why we tend to go with the political party that has the same views as us. In this essay I will be discussing about abortion, education, and family, and children issues that both the Republicans, and Democrats agree,and...show more content... They both agree on that their families play a huge role in their beliefs, and values. Both party platforms agree that there should be help for people who are going through divorce, and encouraging for adoption as well. On the other hand we have the Republicans that say that the most important thing in conservatives, and Hispanics are their beliefs and values. Hinting that children need a mother and father to be successful ("Republican Party on Education."). While on the contrary the Democrats say that children need love from either a mother, or father or regardless of their gender ("Democratic Party on Education."). Here the democrats are trying to say that regardless of the gender of the childs parents, the child is going to be raised with love. The Democratic Party says that there should be policies that value family. For example the parents would spend more time with their child. In my opinion I agree with the democrats that there should be a way that the parents should be able to spend more time with their children. But I also agree with republicans that the children learn their beliefs and values from their families first. Also that there are other options when it comes to abortions like Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Essay on American Political Parties Political parties are critical structures in the modern society and universal phenomena in most democracies. In fact, they form major objects of intensive study as they are usually the centre of political and social power. They engage in most activities that are of significant consequence in the lives of citizens and link the common populace to the government. Therefore, it is important to understand political parties fully from every perspective of political systems so obtain their real importance in democracies. Apolitical party is basically a group of citizens who converge as voters, activists, electoral candidates and office holders with a common party label and seek to elect party members into public offices. While modern political...show more content... The political system of America is very different from other developed and developing democracies. Most notable is the increased power bestowed on the upper house of the parliament, the extensive power held by the Supreme Court and the dominance demonstrated by only two major parties. In the United States, third parties have the least influence on the world's most developed democracy's political structure. In this democracy, people are under the US Constitution of the governmental system as well as state government and other units of local government. Local government entails counties, districts and municipalities. The evolution of the American political party system has come a long way; with Hamilton and Jefferson being regarded as the founder fathers of the modern party system. These were heads of the Federalist and Anti–Federalist groups in the 18th century of American politics. Ever since, the country has maintained a party system that has two main parties that are relatively stable.
