Essay About The Ocean
The white comforting clouds stretched and darkened swirling themselves into a vortex of silvery metallic clouds. A giant eye looked upon me, with a
menacing gleam, like it wanted to toy with me then changed its mind due to my insignificance, and more important business for itself. My tiny body
amid this vast strange universe, staring at the gunmetal clouds, I was overcome with motion sickness that I had never experienced before.
Otherworldly, impossible spinning waves tunneled through my cells. It felt like a copper truck slammed into my DNA dumping its load of rotten

The final furious black–blue pearl wave came to swallow me when the entire sun went out; the whole world became dark. In the five earth seconds
that the sun was dark, I learned who I was. The chaos even made perfect sense and I realized that could be no other way. Order still for chaos is
built into the universe as well as order, however, the chaos grew exponentially surrounding me from all directions, it came at me all at once. Mr.
Artist dad with your money and gifts, but never any time or attention. Bringing groupie sluts over to the house, to our home, and they're the same age
as me? No wonder I tried so hard to be a straight arrow. Mom. Mom! You just stand there and take it until you can't take it no more and leave me in
this world by myself. Marine scuba instructor treating me like I'm in boot camp. I worked ten times as harder than anyone, but not once, not once
could you say well–done, could you? You bullied me, and humiliated me in front of everyone, you foul spoken coward. And Mark, I liked you, I liked
you so much. I started laughing amidst this catharsis. How hideous you looked with that diving tank over your head. The Ocean, why are you doing
this to me? What is happening? Why are you doing this to me? Why are you doing this? And, then, there it was. Yes, the sea demands a sacrifice, but it

Descriptive Essay : A Day At The Beach
As I stood there, on the beach, glancing at the ocean in awe of the beautiful sight, a sudden gust of wind blew past me. Each individual strand of my
hair crossed my face, the sun played peek–a–boo as it made its appearance just above the horizon, as if it were too scared to show its' beautiful light.
The smell of the sea filled my nose as I took in the fresh air. The sand was filled with corals, with a collection of many sea shells, all of which had their
own uniqueness in shape, size and color; however, the sand felt like a bed full of soft comforters. The way the ice–cold water moved the sand and
flowed onto my feet and between my toes, made my heart race. It was as soft and delicate as a newborn; the tiny grains of sand were so fine that it
could not possibly be seen without a microscope. The waves sounded as if they were singing a soothing song to me, causing me to look back on all
of my past memories and drawing me closer to them. They were inviting me in with their eternal arms, but my feet could not listen because the frigid
waves penetrated my feet. It was as if I were stuck. My feet were planted, my feet would not move. It was as if they were frozen to the ground and
could not possibly take a step, therefore, I sat down, watching the sun rise higher and higher, lighting up the beautiful morning sky. As the time
gradually went by, the warm rays of sun glowed; with a cheerful, good morning, reaching down towards me and shining a beam of light towards

I stand at the edge where two worlds collide. The oceans exude power and confindence yet its are the connector to everyone. Here at the ocean, your
peace can be found in the middle of this chaotic world. This is where people can lose themselves in the beauty, tranquility and the uncontrollable power
of the ocean.
I stand on the edge looking forward the ocean seems endless. Some people believe at the horizon there is nothing just a place where the moon, star
and the sun hide until they shall return. Scrunching my toes into the damp sand from the high tide. The sand is like rough sandpaper on my bare
feet. Whispers of the warm sea breeze as it skips over the lulling waves. The breeze carries the salty aroma that swirls in my nose leaving a feeling
of tranquility and safety. Listening to the thundering raspy echo's of the waves as they churn crumbling into whitewash chaos deafening my ears to
whatever else is around me. The squawking of the protectors of the ocean as they circle above, master of catching the upward sea breeze drafts.
Watching the waves draw in a breath of air and sighing deeply gradually crawling along each grain of sand stretching itself out thin to reach my
feet. The ocean breathes in again as the thin layer of water returns into the depths of the unknown.
The sun slowly simmers down into the horizon. The ocean reflecting a amber orange painting on its mesmerizing turquoise canvas. The warmth of the
air is replaced by chills. The light salt–water laps

Descriptive Essay : ' The Atlantic Ocean '
Walking out for the first time on the shelly sand with the ocean breeze and the crashing of the salty yet brutally strong waves made it feel as if time
stood still for that split second. You drifted back to that dream of paradise the night before thinking it'll be just like lake Michigan but bigger. The
Atlantic Ocean doesn 't do justice in pictures, but to experience the beauty of it right in front of you, makes your jaw drop. The beating burn of the
sizzling hot sun on your skin and the roasting of your feet on the scorching makes you want to dive right into the water. However, don't
underestimate the power of the great ocean. For the beauty masks the power and secrecy of the Atlantic Ocean. Traveling over a thousand miles
after never leaving the state of Michigan my entire life was going to be a shock. Being that I was not an adult and it being my first time away, I
was ready for anything and everything. My first girlfriend asked me to join her on her vacation so I gladly said yes due to wanting to travel the
country and see everything I could so while being with the someone I love. The vacation was set for the marvelous state of North Carolina on the
white sandy coast of Wrightsville beach 45 minutes north of South Carolina's Myrtle beach.
Sitting in a packed Subaru outback with four other people in a car that sits five was not the ideal way of traveling for over 16 hours. Being crammed
together with blankets, pillows and limbs was an almost impossible drive.

Descriptive Essay About The Waves
The waves, the beautiful, calming waves. Their resonance, their slow rolling and crashing, their white caps cresting over and plunging back into
the water fully display the beauty and majesty of creation from the shoreline. And their connection to countless parts of science is amazing.
However, as I have found in the past few years, the beauty of the waves isn't necessarily in looking at them, but in being beneath them. Being
beneath them, you feel a slow rocking, the pressure of the waves above you, slowly pulling you closer to shore, then pushing you back out as you
hear them crest over and plunge back into the ocean. Here, underneath the waves in the ocean, is a breathless reality, something amazing, where
you can explore another life around you to find or discover something. Although much of the ocean floor is covered in sand, shells and living
creatures are eminent throughout it, you only have to find them. It was not my first time to Florida. In fact, I had been a year before with my best
friend when I had first swam in the oceans, yet this was my first time exploring them. When my family had announced we were going to Florida
that Christmas break, it was not the news I had hoped to hear. All year long I was excited for Christmas break at home, the blustering snow and
being able to snuggle up inside while staring out into the white blanket. Even more so, I had been thrilled to spend the two weeks hanging out with
the love of my life, yet, as December 21st rolled around, I discovered myself boarding my families behemoth of a van to travel a thousand miles
south. Although the prospect of the trip did not thrill me, it was intriguing to see where we were going and what we were doing. Last time I had
travelled to Florida, it was over spring break in the panhandle of Florida; however, this time, we were travelling all the way to the keys, the
southern–most point of the United States without travelling to Hawaii. I can say I am thankful we did not stay in Key West, though my family did
have our fair share of stumbling across nude beaches while touring Key West. My parents had picked a small key called Fiesta Key. It was simply a
campground and sadly played country music all day at the only spot that had wifi.

Descriptive Essay About Synthetic Ocean
Synthetic Ocean All my life I've been fascinated by the Synthetic Ocean, I still remember my first visit, even though I couldn't have been much
older than two. I remember the glimmering iridescent fish, drifting in elegant spirals. The hall of red coral behind which I could see gleaming
tentacles of some many armed squid, seeming to wave at me lazily. I remember the darker things as well, a huge pale eye in some dark face,
staring at me, in some incomprehensible way understanding everything, seeing every part of me. Sharks with curling fins, who followed me as
dim graceful shapes. I remember it all. I remember it as the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. The Synthetic Ocean is still more beautiful than
anything else I have ever seen or even imagined. I wish that somehow I could see it all, but I know that is impossible, and unreachable goal. The
Synthetic Ocean is limitless, it will always be limitless no matter if I wander it the rest of my life. I remember in school, when I was 9 we were
asked to draw a creature from the Synthetic Ocean, I created my own, my teacher showed it to the class, she said it was beautiful. From that moment
I decided to become a designer, to see creatures from my own mind swim those limitless hallways, undistinguished shapes in a thousand colors. I did
not know how I would do it, not yet but I was determined to. I have visited the Synthetic ocean many times since the first time, and I swear it's more
beautiful each time, and also

A day at the beach
The place that is peaceful in its own ways. It is the place to go to get away from our jobs and everyday duties. It is the place where we can sit and
think the best. A place where nothing matters but what is in that little moment. This place is called the beach. A trip to the beach can be successful if
you make the right preparations and find activities to do during the day and night. Nature is so beautiful and to witness it, there is no more beautiful
place then a beach or watching a sun set on a beach. For some reason, I have been attached to the beach so much and even though I don't know
swimming, surfing or any kind of water sports. I enjoy by watching waves, smell of water and sand and the cold breeze of fresh air. I recently planned a
trip to Clearwater beach in Florida and it was a experience, I won't forget in my entire life. Such a beautiful place and if you are a big fan of water
sports, it is a must go place, I suggest. In the childhood we see cartoons on tv and how they describe beach for example, red sky in the evening, waves
colliding with each other and it made me a big fan of the water ends. True beauty of the ocean is beneath the sea, it's called coral reefs or sea plants
which are the colorful bunch of plants growing under the salty water of the ocean.
It is a feeling where we are stunned watching the gloriousness and it makes us think to capture each and every moment we see and we enjoy. It is a
place where I wish I could be there each and every day. As soon as you reach there and stepped out of your car, first thing you noticed is the texture
of the beauty. White sand, blue sky and the pleasure to be there. First step on the sand, no footwears on your feet and as soon as you put your feet
on the sand, such a feel of a piece of velvet on the floor with rose petals on it and you feel like you could stand like that for the whole day. The sand
was still warm due to the heat. It was a complete free of cost feet massage. Place was surrounded by all kind of people. Old, young kids, teenagers,
sweet couples having their good time. Touching the sand is like touching sugar, it's very grainy but don't taste it! You can feel the hot sand between
your toes. A warm and muggy day was

Ocean City Madness
If you ever find yourself in Ocean City, Maryland, you will always have a relaxing mornings but in the afternoon, may be overwhelmed by the
different types of people on the beach. Depending on the time of day, the beach will feel like a completely difference experience. It can switch from a
relaxing day soaking up the sun to virtually being in the middle of a beach brawl and swarmed by wild seagulls. These things are all part of ocean city's
crazy experience.
After traveling for 3–hours, my family arrived at our beach house in Ocean City Maryland. After making a quick trip for groceries, we decided to go
to bed and set alarm clocks for early in the morning. After a good nights sleep, I woke up to the pleasant smell of bacon and eggs. After feasting on
a delightful breakfast, my brothers and I began to get ready for the beach. We went down the creaky wooden stairs of our beach house and unlocked
the storage room located beneath the home. I decided to carry both of the floral umbrellas while my brothers took the portable beach chairs. After
grabbing all of our gear, we headed back up the weathered stairs and towards the distant sand dunes. As we approached the entrance of the sand dunes,
the satisfying sounds of the ocean's waves started to become closer and closer. Once we traveled closer, the vivid orange sun began to ascend from the
deep sea. At this early point in the morning, the sand walkway enclosed by

ABZГ›
ABZГ› is a adventurous underwater world. Each iconic area has their own beauty in their own specific way. it brings out the players inner drive for
beauty. The player will discover a hidden world in the deep ocean, and ancient artifacts in the dark abyss. The story of ABZГ› has been passed around
cultures. "The name is a combination of two ancient words AB, meaning ocean, and ZГ›, meaning to know. ABZГ› means the ocean of wisdom." (IGN)
ABZГ› gameplay is remarkable experience. At first the player is introduced to the main protagonist in the middle of nowhere. The tutorial for the
controls show up, and teach the player how to move. It may seem confusing at first, but the player may change the way to control the players
movement and camera in the settings. The game is generally based on freedom of movement than survival. It allows the player to relax, and explore
what hidden secrets lie behind the ocean. I found myself traveling from to exotic areas making me feel a bunch of emotions. Each area I explored
always seemed to have a different theme too it. It showed me many varieties of fishes, Although nothing may seem to want to eat the player, it is still a
fish–eat–fish world down here. I swam in small full of life spaces to a vast open ocean with enormous mammals. If wanting to find out more about the
fishes in the area, I found myself meditating on a shark statue.
On my journey I passed by many old paintings and ruins left by

Atlantic Ocean Descriptive Essay
If I had to describe the terrain of my location, it would obviously be in the middle of the ocean on water. The depth of the ocean though, is from
11,000–13,000 feet ("Atlantic Ocean: Location..."). The temperature of the Atlantic Ocean can be between 28–84 degrees Fahrenheit. This is also for
the water of the Atlantic Ocean as well ("What is the..."). The weather conditions while I am on the Pacific Ocean will be sunny and hot during
the day, but at night it tends to rain and it also gets very cold. The weather conditions could also vary in the different parts of the ocean. Although I
will be in a mostly hot area it is possible that I could drift over into some of the colddest parts of the Pacific Ocean (Osborn). The only wildlife I
would be in danger of is maybe sharks. There is a shark called the Bull shark that lives in the Atlantic Ocean that is most dangerous to humans
("Which Sharks Live..."). The Bull shark has many human attacks registered. This sharks triangular teeth measure to about 3 inches ("Bull

this is what you would want so you can stay dry and warm. The wetsuit that I am bringing helps to keep you from sinking. I will need this In case I
have to go into the water for anything. It also protects you from the sun, I need to stay out of the sun because getting sun poisoning or even sun
burn would make me extremely uncomfortable and also it would burn if I got any ocean water on it. Another thing that this suit will do for me is
keep me warm at night ("Men's V:3 Velocity..."). The water gets down to about 62.6 degrees fahrenheit at night and even though I won't be in the
water my raft will be and that will cause it to get colder ("Temperature of Ocean..."). The second piece of clothing that I am bringing is a protection
sun cap. This will keep my face out of the sun and it has UPF 50+ so that I again don't get sun poisoning. The sun cap that I am bringing is an

Descriptive Essay : A Trip To The Beach
The warm breeze of the ocean air flies past my face. The heat of the yellow sun was sizzling, beating down against my skin, tanning and burning it
within seconds. Beach goers were crowded around in all directions. Seagulls gliding past the groups of people, scouting for dropped or forgotten food
to eat. Their little footprints marking a trail in the sand all over the place, going in a million different directions, searching for their next meal. I take in
the exquisiteness of it all, the blue–green waves crashing into the sandy shore, making white foam and bubbles wash into the sea, little boys and girls
that are digging in the bright white sand running away from the small waves before they get wet. The beach is a stunning place to be; there's just
something about the ocean waves and the sand between my toes that makes me just want to stay there forever. The sand was a scorching heat, it
burned our feet as we eagerly walked down to the ocean shore. Sea oats (tallgrass important to sand dunes and beach plant life) and tiny red and
black ants were seen everywhere, covering the sand until we got closer to the sea. Small pieces of bright seashells were scattered all over the
place, cutting and poking our feet as we walked around. Cigarette butts and trash from past visitors littered the beautiful sand. The beach was deep,
making our feet sink down with every step. Shoes made walking around the sand hard, as they would just get filled with the white sand and make
our feet heavier to lift up from the ground. People were everywhere, their brightly colored umbrellas and towels covering the entirety of the beach,
adults and kids alike were rushing out into the waves with colorful surfboards and animal floaties. My purple bag chair was sitting just in the right
spot for the waves to flow up to my feet and back down again. After awhile, the sand that's being taken in from the soft waves starts sinking the chair
legs down. The chair starts leaning forwards, almost completely knocking me into the wet, sticky sand. Brightly colored Seashells come floating up
next to me with the crashing waves, where I am low enough to the ground that I can quickly scoop them up before the ocean takes them away again.
The beach is full of

Salt Water: The Joys Of Ocean Water
Ocean water sometimes is called saltwater because of its salt content. Sodium chloride, or table salt, gives ocean water its salty taste. Sodium chloride,
on average, makes up about 90 percent of the salt content of ocean water. Other mineral salts found in ocean water include salts of magnesium, calcium,
potassium, and sulfate. The total salt content, or salinity, of ocean water is on average about 35 parts per thousand, or 3.5 percent. This means that a
liter of ocean water contains about 35 grams of various salts. Ocean water also contains many other important minerals and nutrients that support life.
Some of these are dissolved compounds of nitrogen and phosphorous. Some, like carbon dioxide and oxygen, are gases that are dissolved in ocean

In the final hours of 2015. The suns reflection danced on the ocean's waves, just before the radiant sun slowly began to vanish behind the ocean
line, after finishing it's day's work. The skies began to fill with the different shades of pink, orange and red, and with every breath I took, I could
taste the subtle salts from the ocean that I walk beside. The apathetic sea breeze inexplicably manages to tangle every strand of my hair. I heard
the whispering and faint waves toppling onto it's self. My friends and I walked towards the bridge, like turtles racing, eager to get to the end but
still slower than time. With each step taken my feet sunk more into the millions of grains of golden sand. When I looked down I saw every little
imprint made in the shore, every seagull, dog, crab and persons stamp made on the ocean's shore. As we wandered, we watched the children's
memorable sandcastles left to be swept away by the waves slowly creeping their way up the shore. The waves crashed against our ankles and
calves as we stepped into the incoming traffic of the waves. When the waves retreated they left the odd strand of seaweed covering across the tops

The Sea at the Daytime and at Night Essay
The sea was not like anything else ever created. It had a beautifully charming effect on people generally and a relaxing and relieving one on others.
Therefore, there are an immense amount of sea lovers.
In the daytime, on a hot summer's day, its warm blue moving water, which got its colour from the blue of the sky, was a heavenly enticing scene.
The water was as clear and clean as glistening glass, drifting the feelings away to the depth of the magnificent sea. The gentle waves eagerly pushed
one another to touch the still smooth sea sand, as if they were trying to say something secret about the sea to the golden sand. Wonderfully amazing
sounds came out of these touches. It was a real wonder! How were the waves moving and making...show more content...

Scented seaweeds, various colours and shapes of seashells and different sizes of pebbles spread all over the shore.
Some Sea–gulls were screaming delightfully as they flew by.While some of the children were throwing some bread crumbs for the elegant Sea–gulls,
they swiftly were picking these crumbs and flying away. The noise they were making was incredible as if they were chatting to each other using
their own words. When the day was getting to its end, the nice warm water was getting colder, people started to tidy up and leave the place, and
flock of birds were going back to roost. As the sky begun to wear its orangery coloured gown, the sun had started to sleep and the moon would wake up
instead.
What a stunning feeling this view left in one's heart.
The sky joined the sea to make a whole blue in the horizon. The night cold breezes started to blow, bringing magnificent sand and sea scents. The
hunters were getting back from their daily journey. Their lights were lit, leaving a gleaming stream of water behind. What an adventurous journey they
had!
While the wind was blowing stronger and stronger, the weather was growing colder and colder, and the waves were getting higher and higher. The moon

September 17, 1974. It was a cool, crisp fall night when I boarded the S.S. Hato. It was such a well crafted sub... what a shame. Everything was
running smoothly, it should have been for I was the captain. We quickly submerged into the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean, I awaited to
study the destinies of the Atlantic Ocean. As I waited one of my highest ranked crew members asked me a peculiar question, "Have you recently
checked the radar?" I replied "James, why would I need to check the radar? We've just begun to descend, if it was that important you could check it
yourself." "I'm sorry." he said anxiously "I'll go check it." I was always harsh with my crew, but I didn't know better, I was young. Later on in the
control center, I slowly guided the magnificent sub along the quickly moving currents. We must have been at least 600 feet in, there was no going
back. At this moment James came in my room for the second time. "Captain?" he said completely out of breath "Yes?" I said sternly. "There is
something on the radar. I ignored it before because I thought it would go away but it didn't." I was beginning to worry, but...show more content...

got closer to the door. I placed my hand on the ice cold doorknob, as my heart was nearly pounding out of my chest. I turned the knob with all of
myself hoping there was nothing on the screen. Which was probably the longest 5 seconds of my life. I opened the door. Staring blank faced and
lifeless at the screen I saw it, my worst fear, that big red dot on the face of the radar screen. I took a big swallow and asked "Do any of you know what it

The Oceans Of The Ocean
Oceans are bodies of saline water that make up for much of the Earth's hydrosphere. Approximately, oceans cover 71% of Earth's surface and 90% of
the Earth's biosphere. There are five oceans that cover our globe– Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern or Antarctic and Arctic. In spite of all the water
surrounding us, we know very little of the oceans and the life within them. The mysteries are awe inducing as well as leave you in fear.
1.Unknown sounds.
In 1997, NOAA hydrophones picked up one of the loudest sounds ever recorded off the southern coast of South America– the Bloop was recorded by
two hydrophones nearly 3,000 miles (4,800 kilometres) apart. Another sound named Julia was recorded in 1999. According to NOAA, the most likely
explanation for these two sounds is that it was the sound of a large iceberg fracturing.
2.Underwater rivers.
When seawater dribbles through thick layers of salt, the salt dissolves and forms depressions in the seafloor. That dissolved salt makes the water in
that area denser and it settles into the depressions. These underwater lakes and rivers, also called brine pools, are similar to land–based rivers – they
have shorelines, and even waves.
3.Milky Sea Phenomenon.
The Milky Sea Phenomenon, most common in the Indian Ocean occurs on account of bioluminescent bacterial action. These cause the water to turn
blue, which to the naked eye appear as milky white in colour in the darkness. The Milky Sea phenomenon has been recognized to be in

Essay About The Ocean

  • 1. Essay About The Ocean The white comforting clouds stretched and darkened swirling themselves into a vortex of silvery metallic clouds. A giant eye looked upon me, with a menacing gleam, like it wanted to toy with me then changed its mind due to my insignificance, and more important business for itself. My tiny body amid this vast strange universe, staring at the gunmetal clouds, I was overcome with motion sickness that I had never experienced before. Otherworldly, impossible spinning waves tunneled through my cells. It felt like a copper truck slammed into my DNA dumping its load of rotten eggs, human waste, cheap perfume, and rotting meat exploding every cell in my DNA. It ignited a force of nausea in me so strong my head jerked upright and through the...show more content... The final furious black–blue pearl wave came to swallow me when the entire sun went out; the whole world became dark. In the five earth seconds that the sun was dark, I learned who I was. The chaos even made perfect sense and I realized that could be no other way. Order still for chaos is built into the universe as well as order, however, the chaos grew exponentially surrounding me from all directions, it came at me all at once. Mr. Artist dad with your money and gifts, but never any time or attention. Bringing groupie sluts over to the house, to our home, and they're the same age as me? No wonder I tried so hard to be a straight arrow. Mom. Mom! You just stand there and take it until you can't take it no more and leave me in this world by myself. Marine scuba instructor treating me like I'm in boot camp. I worked ten times as harder than anyone, but not once, not once could you say well–done, could you? You bullied me, and humiliated me in front of everyone, you foul spoken coward. And Mark, I liked you, I liked you so much. I started laughing amidst this catharsis. How hideous you looked with that diving tank over your head. The Ocean, why are you doing this to me? What is happening? Why are you doing this to me? Why are you doing this? And, then, there it was. Yes, the sea demands a sacrifice, but it needn't be me. You're not trying to hurt me, you're trying to help me. Pure technetium Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Descriptive Essay : A Day At The Beach As I stood there, on the beach, glancing at the ocean in awe of the beautiful sight, a sudden gust of wind blew past me. Each individual strand of my hair crossed my face, the sun played peek–a–boo as it made its appearance just above the horizon, as if it were too scared to show its' beautiful light. The smell of the sea filled my nose as I took in the fresh air. The sand was filled with corals, with a collection of many sea shells, all of which had their own uniqueness in shape, size and color; however, the sand felt like a bed full of soft comforters. The way the ice–cold water moved the sand and flowed onto my feet and between my toes, made my heart race. It was as soft and delicate as a newborn; the tiny grains of sand were so fine that it could not possibly be seen without a microscope. The waves sounded as if they were singing a soothing song to me, causing me to look back on all of my past memories and drawing me closer to them. They were inviting me in with their eternal arms, but my feet could not listen because the frigid waves penetrated my feet. It was as if I were stuck. My feet were planted, my feet would not move. It was as if they were frozen to the ground and could not possibly take a step, therefore, I sat down, watching the sun rise higher and higher, lighting up the beautiful morning sky. As the time gradually went by, the warm rays of sun glowed; with a cheerful, good morning, reaching down towards me and shining a beam of light towards Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Ocean Descriptive Essay I stand at the edge where two worlds collide. The oceans exude power and confindence yet its are the connector to everyone. Here at the ocean, your peace can be found in the middle of this chaotic world. This is where people can lose themselves in the beauty, tranquility and the uncontrollable power of the ocean. I stand on the edge looking forward the ocean seems endless. Some people believe at the horizon there is nothing just a place where the moon, star and the sun hide until they shall return. Scrunching my toes into the damp sand from the high tide. The sand is like rough sandpaper on my bare feet. Whispers of the warm sea breeze as it skips over the lulling waves. The breeze carries the salty aroma that swirls in my nose leaving a feeling of tranquility and safety. Listening to the thundering raspy echo's of the waves as they churn crumbling into whitewash chaos deafening my ears to whatever else is around me. The squawking of the protectors of the ocean as they circle above, master of catching the upward sea breeze drafts. Watching the waves draw in a breath of air and sighing deeply gradually crawling along each grain of sand stretching itself out thin to reach my feet. The ocean breathes in again as the thin layer of water returns into the depths of the unknown. The sun slowly simmers down into the horizon. The ocean reflecting a amber orange painting on its mesmerizing turquoise canvas. The warmth of the air is replaced by chills. The light salt–water laps Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Descriptive Essay : ' The Atlantic Ocean ' Walking out for the first time on the shelly sand with the ocean breeze and the crashing of the salty yet brutally strong waves made it feel as if time stood still for that split second. You drifted back to that dream of paradise the night before thinking it'll be just like lake Michigan but bigger. The Atlantic Ocean doesn 't do justice in pictures, but to experience the beauty of it right in front of you, makes your jaw drop. The beating burn of the sizzling hot sun on your skin and the roasting of your feet on the scorching makes you want to dive right into the water. However, don't underestimate the power of the great ocean. For the beauty masks the power and secrecy of the Atlantic Ocean. Traveling over a thousand miles after never leaving the state of Michigan my entire life was going to be a shock. Being that I was not an adult and it being my first time away, I was ready for anything and everything. My first girlfriend asked me to join her on her vacation so I gladly said yes due to wanting to travel the country and see everything I could so while being with the someone I love. The vacation was set for the marvelous state of North Carolina on the white sandy coast of Wrightsville beach 45 minutes north of South Carolina's Myrtle beach. Sitting in a packed Subaru outback with four other people in a car that sits five was not the ideal way of traveling for over 16 hours. Being crammed together with blankets, pillows and limbs was an almost impossible drive. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Descriptive Essay About The Waves The waves, the beautiful, calming waves. Their resonance, their slow rolling and crashing, their white caps cresting over and plunging back into the water fully display the beauty and majesty of creation from the shoreline. And their connection to countless parts of science is amazing. However, as I have found in the past few years, the beauty of the waves isn't necessarily in looking at them, but in being beneath them. Being beneath them, you feel a slow rocking, the pressure of the waves above you, slowly pulling you closer to shore, then pushing you back out as you hear them crest over and plunge back into the ocean. Here, underneath the waves in the ocean, is a breathless reality, something amazing, where you can explore another life around you to find or discover something. Although much of the ocean floor is covered in sand, shells and living creatures are eminent throughout it, you only have to find them. It was not my first time to Florida. In fact, I had been a year before with my best friend when I had first swam in the oceans, yet this was my first time exploring them. When my family had announced we were going to Florida that Christmas break, it was not the news I had hoped to hear. All year long I was excited for Christmas break at home, the blustering snow and being able to snuggle up inside while staring out into the white blanket. Even more so, I had been thrilled to spend the two weeks hanging out with the love of my life, yet, as December 21st rolled around, I discovered myself boarding my families behemoth of a van to travel a thousand miles south. Although the prospect of the trip did not thrill me, it was intriguing to see where we were going and what we were doing. Last time I had travelled to Florida, it was over spring break in the panhandle of Florida; however, this time, we were travelling all the way to the keys, the southern–most point of the United States without travelling to Hawaii. I can say I am thankful we did not stay in Key West, though my family did have our fair share of stumbling across nude beaches while touring Key West. My parents had picked a small key called Fiesta Key. It was simply a campground and sadly played country music all day at the only spot that had wifi. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Descriptive Essay About Synthetic Ocean Synthetic Ocean All my life I've been fascinated by the Synthetic Ocean, I still remember my first visit, even though I couldn't have been much older than two. I remember the glimmering iridescent fish, drifting in elegant spirals. The hall of red coral behind which I could see gleaming tentacles of some many armed squid, seeming to wave at me lazily. I remember the darker things as well, a huge pale eye in some dark face, staring at me, in some incomprehensible way understanding everything, seeing every part of me. Sharks with curling fins, who followed me as dim graceful shapes. I remember it all. I remember it as the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. The Synthetic Ocean is still more beautiful than anything else I have ever seen or even imagined. I wish that somehow I could see it all, but I know that is impossible, and unreachable goal. The Synthetic Ocean is limitless, it will always be limitless no matter if I wander it the rest of my life. I remember in school, when I was 9 we were asked to draw a creature from the Synthetic Ocean, I created my own, my teacher showed it to the class, she said it was beautiful. From that moment I decided to become a designer, to see creatures from my own mind swim those limitless hallways, undistinguished shapes in a thousand colors. I did not know how I would do it, not yet but I was determined to. I have visited the Synthetic ocean many times since the first time, and I swear it's more beautiful each time, and also Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Descriptive Essay : A Day At The Beach A day at the beach The place that is peaceful in its own ways. It is the place to go to get away from our jobs and everyday duties. It is the place where we can sit and think the best. A place where nothing matters but what is in that little moment. This place is called the beach. A trip to the beach can be successful if you make the right preparations and find activities to do during the day and night. Nature is so beautiful and to witness it, there is no more beautiful place then a beach or watching a sun set on a beach. For some reason, I have been attached to the beach so much and even though I don't know swimming, surfing or any kind of water sports. I enjoy by watching waves, smell of water and sand and the cold breeze of fresh air. I recently planned a trip to Clearwater beach in Florida and it was a experience, I won't forget in my entire life. Such a beautiful place and if you are a big fan of water sports, it is a must go place, I suggest. In the childhood we see cartoons on tv and how they describe beach for example, red sky in the evening, waves colliding with each other and it made me a big fan of the water ends. True beauty of the ocean is beneath the sea, it's called coral reefs or sea plants which are the colorful bunch of plants growing under the salty water of the ocean. It is a feeling where we are stunned watching the gloriousness and it makes us think to capture each and every moment we see and we enjoy. It is a place where I wish I could be there each and every day. As soon as you reach there and stepped out of your car, first thing you noticed is the texture of the beauty. White sand, blue sky and the pleasure to be there. First step on the sand, no footwears on your feet and as soon as you put your feet on the sand, such a feel of a piece of velvet on the floor with rose petals on it and you feel like you could stand like that for the whole day. The sand was still warm due to the heat. It was a complete free of cost feet massage. Place was surrounded by all kind of people. Old, young kids, teenagers, sweet couples having their good time. Touching the sand is like touching sugar, it's very grainy but don't taste it! You can feel the hot sand between your toes. A warm and muggy day was Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Ocean City Essay Ocean City Madness If you ever find yourself in Ocean City, Maryland, you will always have a relaxing mornings but in the afternoon, may be overwhelmed by the different types of people on the beach. Depending on the time of day, the beach will feel like a completely difference experience. It can switch from a relaxing day soaking up the sun to virtually being in the middle of a beach brawl and swarmed by wild seagulls. These things are all part of ocean city's crazy experience. After traveling for 3–hours, my family arrived at our beach house in Ocean City Maryland. After making a quick trip for groceries, we decided to go to bed and set alarm clocks for early in the morning. After a good nights sleep, I woke up to the pleasant smell of bacon and eggs. After feasting on a delightful breakfast, my brothers and I began to get ready for the beach. We went down the creaky wooden stairs of our beach house and unlocked the storage room located beneath the home. I decided to carry both of the floral umbrellas while my brothers took the portable beach chairs. After grabbing all of our gear, we headed back up the weathered stairs and towards the distant sand dunes. As we approached the entrance of the sand dunes, the satisfying sounds of the ocean's waves started to become closer and closer. Once we traveled closer, the vivid orange sun began to ascend from the deep sea. At this early point in the morning, the sand walkway enclosed by Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Descriptive Essay About The Ocean Julio Escobar Ms.Willis ENG 1101 18 June 2017 ABZГ› ABZГ› is a adventurous underwater world. Each iconic area has their own beauty in their own specific way. it brings out the players inner drive for beauty. The player will discover a hidden world in the deep ocean, and ancient artifacts in the dark abyss. The story of ABZГ› has been passed around cultures. "The name is a combination of two ancient words AB, meaning ocean, and ZГ›, meaning to know. ABZГ› means the ocean of wisdom." (IGN) ABZГ› gameplay is remarkable experience. At first the player is introduced to the main protagonist in the middle of nowhere. The tutorial for the controls show up, and teach the player how to move. It may seem confusing at first, but the player may change the way to control the players movement and camera in the settings. The game is generally based on freedom of movement than survival. It allows the player to relax, and explore what hidden secrets lie behind the ocean. I found myself traveling from to exotic areas making me feel a bunch of emotions. Each area I explored always seemed to have a different theme too it. It showed me many varieties of fishes, Although nothing may seem to want to eat the player, it is still a fish–eat–fish world down here. I swam in small full of life spaces to a vast open ocean with enormous mammals. If wanting to find out more about the fishes in the area, I found myself meditating on a shark statue. On my journey I passed by many old paintings and ruins left by Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Atlantic Ocean Descriptive Essay If I had to describe the terrain of my location, it would obviously be in the middle of the ocean on water. The depth of the ocean though, is from 11,000–13,000 feet ("Atlantic Ocean: Location..."). The temperature of the Atlantic Ocean can be between 28–84 degrees Fahrenheit. This is also for the water of the Atlantic Ocean as well ("What is the..."). The weather conditions while I am on the Pacific Ocean will be sunny and hot during the day, but at night it tends to rain and it also gets very cold. The weather conditions could also vary in the different parts of the ocean. Although I will be in a mostly hot area it is possible that I could drift over into some of the colddest parts of the Pacific Ocean (Osborn). The only wildlife I would be in danger of is maybe sharks. There is a shark called the Bull shark that lives in the Atlantic Ocean that is most dangerous to humans ("Which Sharks Live..."). The Bull shark has many human attacks registered. This sharks triangular teeth measure to about 3 inches ("Bull Shark..."). The first piece of clothing that I brought is a full body wetsuit. I brought this because when you are stranded in the middle of the ocean this is what you would want so you can stay dry and warm. The wetsuit that I am bringing helps to keep you from sinking. I will need this In case I have to go into the water for anything. It also protects you from the sun, I need to stay out of the sun because getting sun poisoning or even sun burn would make me extremely uncomfortable and also it would burn if I got any ocean water on it. Another thing that this suit will do for me is keep me warm at night ("Men's V:3 Velocity..."). The water gets down to about 62.6 degrees fahrenheit at night and even though I won't be in the water my raft will be and that will cause it to get colder ("Temperature of Ocean..."). The second piece of clothing that I am bringing is a protection sun cap. This will keep my face out of the sun and it has UPF 50+ so that I again don't get sun poisoning. The sun cap that I am bringing is an ICOLOR 360В° Protection Sun Cap, this cap is special because it fits like a regular ball cap but it covers the entire face and the front and back of your neck. This hat is also waterproof so if it starts Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Descriptive Essay : A Trip To The Beach The warm breeze of the ocean air flies past my face. The heat of the yellow sun was sizzling, beating down against my skin, tanning and burning it within seconds. Beach goers were crowded around in all directions. Seagulls gliding past the groups of people, scouting for dropped or forgotten food to eat. Their little footprints marking a trail in the sand all over the place, going in a million different directions, searching for their next meal. I take in the exquisiteness of it all, the blue–green waves crashing into the sandy shore, making white foam and bubbles wash into the sea, little boys and girls that are digging in the bright white sand running away from the small waves before they get wet. The beach is a stunning place to be; there's just something about the ocean waves and the sand between my toes that makes me just want to stay there forever. The sand was a scorching heat, it burned our feet as we eagerly walked down to the ocean shore. Sea oats (tallgrass important to sand dunes and beach plant life) and tiny red and black ants were seen everywhere, covering the sand until we got closer to the sea. Small pieces of bright seashells were scattered all over the place, cutting and poking our feet as we walked around. Cigarette butts and trash from past visitors littered the beautiful sand. The beach was deep, making our feet sink down with every step. Shoes made walking around the sand hard, as they would just get filled with the white sand and make our feet heavier to lift up from the ground. People were everywhere, their brightly colored umbrellas and towels covering the entirety of the beach, adults and kids alike were rushing out into the waves with colorful surfboards and animal floaties. My purple bag chair was sitting just in the right spot for the waves to flow up to my feet and back down again. After awhile, the sand that's being taken in from the soft waves starts sinking the chair legs down. The chair starts leaning forwards, almost completely knocking me into the wet, sticky sand. Brightly colored Seashells come floating up next to me with the crashing waves, where I am low enough to the ground that I can quickly scoop them up before the ocean takes them away again. The beach is full of Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Salt Water: The Joys Of Ocean Water Ocean water sometimes is called saltwater because of its salt content. Sodium chloride, or table salt, gives ocean water its salty taste. Sodium chloride, on average, makes up about 90 percent of the salt content of ocean water. Other mineral salts found in ocean water include salts of magnesium, calcium, potassium, and sulfate. The total salt content, or salinity, of ocean water is on average about 35 parts per thousand, or 3.5 percent. This means that a liter of ocean water contains about 35 grams of various salts. Ocean water also contains many other important minerals and nutrients that support life. Some of these are dissolved compounds of nitrogen and phosphorous. Some, like carbon dioxide and oxygen, are gases that are dissolved in ocean Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Descriptive Essay About The Ocean Nevertheless, the comforting white clouds began to stretch and darken swirling themselves into a silvery metallic vortex. Majestic and alive a giant eye looked down upon me, with a menacing gleam, like it wanted to toy with me then changed its mind due to mere insignificance within its domain, and more important business for itself. My tiny body amid this vast strange universe, staring at the gunmetal clouds, overcome with motion sickness that I had never experienced before. Otherworldly, the impossible spinning waves tunneled through my cells, and with it this time – the smell of death. It hit like a copper truck slamming into me creating a hole to dump its load of rotten eggs, human waste, cheap perfume, and rotting meat forcing my cells to explode from the inside out. It ignited a force of nausea in me so strong my head jerked and I blew out blood, vomit, and a silvery black ooze into my regulator. I kept purging the exhaust valve of excess blood, vomit, and liquid metal. The distinct smell of death became a taste I couldn't expel. An unholy taste of metallic death. The opposite spinning double waves kept moving through me, shattering my core with its opposing directions. Bright, iridescent metallic flashes outlined every wave's form; inside an internal beast of hematite black. But why? Why is the ocean changing? The ocean, my friend? Into what, and what was it changing me into? I tried to grasp it as if it was on the tip of my tongue, but it wasn't, I couldn't know Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Creative Writing Ocean In the final hours of 2015. The suns reflection danced on the ocean's waves, just before the radiant sun slowly began to vanish behind the ocean line, after finishing it's day's work. The skies began to fill with the different shades of pink, orange and red, and with every breath I took, I could taste the subtle salts from the ocean that I walk beside. The apathetic sea breeze inexplicably manages to tangle every strand of my hair. I heard the whispering and faint waves toppling onto it's self. My friends and I walked towards the bridge, like turtles racing, eager to get to the end but still slower than time. With each step taken my feet sunk more into the millions of grains of golden sand. When I looked down I saw every little imprint made in the shore, every seagull, dog, crab and persons stamp made on the ocean's shore. As we wandered, we watched the children's memorable sandcastles left to be swept away by the waves slowly creeping their way up the shore. The waves crashed against our ankles and calves as we stepped into the incoming traffic of the waves. When the waves retreated they left the odd strand of seaweed covering across the tops of my feet. Every time I took a step I kicked the grains of sand up the backs of my legs, which would be stuck there for the next few hours....show more content... As the dried out seaweed piles become more prominent, and the sand becomes washed up dirt dragged down from the grass next to the car park. As we step onto the rickety, unbalanced slabs of wood, attempting to be a bridge, we attempt to leave the grains of sand stuck to the soles of our feet where they belong. As we stand motionless to take in the view of the sunset's shimmering path across the ocean. Where we were I heard cheerful and enthusiastic chatter that filled the atmosphere around Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 17. The Sea at the Daytime and at Night Essay The sea was not like anything else ever created. The gentle waves eagerly pushed one another to touch the still smooth sea sand, as if they were trying to say something secret about the sea to the golden sand. Wonderfully amazing sounds came out of these touches. It was a real wonder! How were the waves moving and making...show more content... What enjoyment they had! The noise they were making was incredible as if they were chatting to each other using their own words. When the day was getting to its end, the nice warm water was getting colder, people started to tidy up and leave the place, and flock of birds were going back to roost. As the sky begun to wear its orangery coloured gown, the sun had started to sleep and the moon would wake up instead. What a stunning feeling this view left in one's heart. The sky joined the sea to make a whole blue in the horizon. The night cold breezes started to blow, bringing magnificent sand and sea scents. The hunters were getting back from their daily journey. Their lights were lit, leaving a gleaming stream of water behind. What an adventurous journey they had! While the wind was blowing stronger and stronger, the weather was growing colder and colder, and the waves were getting higher and higher. The moon light was dimmed by some grey moving clouds, leaving a faint radiance about as the moon light was glowing from the edges of the clouds. Some

  • 19. Ocean Descriptive Writing September 17, 1974. It was a cool, crisp fall night when I boarded the S.S. Hato. It was such a well crafted sub... what a shame. Everything was running smoothly, it should have been for I was the captain. We quickly submerged into the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean, I awaited to study the destinies of the Atlantic Ocean. As I waited one of my highest ranked crew members asked me a peculiar question, "Have you recently checked the radar?" I replied "James, why would I need to check the radar? We've just begun to descend, if it was that important you could check it yourself." "I'm sorry." he said anxiously "I'll go check it." I was always harsh with my crew, but I didn't know better, I was young. Later on in the control center, I slowly guided the magnificent sub along the quickly moving currents. We must have been at least 600 feet in, there was no going back. At this moment James came in my room for the second time. "Captain?" he said completely out of breath "Yes?" I said sternly. "There is something on the radar. I ignored it before because I thought it would go away but it didn't." I was beginning to worry, but...show more content... This was only my second time running a sub by myself, no one taught me how to deal with mysterious objects lurking in the darkness of the sea. Later on we must have been 900 feet underwater, I finally went to go check what was on the radar screen. Holding my breath with every step I took, I got closer to the door. I placed my hand on the ice cold doorknob, as my heart was nearly pounding out of my chest. I turned the knob with all of myself hoping there was nothing on the screen. Which was probably the longest 5 seconds of my life. I opened the door. Staring blank faced and lifeless at the screen I saw it, my worst fear, that big red dot on the face of the radar screen. I took a big swallow and asked "Do any of you know what it Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 20. The Oceans Of The Ocean Oceans are bodies of saline water that make up for much of the Earth's hydrosphere. Approximately, oceans cover 71% of Earth's surface and 90% of the Earth's biosphere. There are five oceans that cover our globe– Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern or Antarctic and Arctic. In spite of all the water surrounding us, we know very little of the oceans and the life within them. The mysteries are awe inducing as well as leave you in fear. 1.Unknown sounds. In 1997, NOAA hydrophones picked up one of the loudest sounds ever recorded off the southern coast of South America– the Bloop was recorded by two hydrophones nearly 3,000 miles (4,800 kilometres) apart. Another sound named Julia was recorded in 1999. According to NOAA, the most likely explanation for these two sounds is that it was the sound of a large iceberg fracturing. 2.Underwater rivers. When seawater dribbles through thick layers of salt, the salt dissolves and forms depressions in the seafloor. That dissolved salt makes the water in that area denser and it settles into the depressions. These underwater lakes and rivers, also called brine pools, are similar to land–based rivers – they have shorelines, and even waves. 3.Milky Sea Phenomenon. The Milky Sea Phenomenon, most common in the Indian Ocean occurs on account of bioluminescent bacterial action. These cause the water to turn blue, which to the naked eye appear as milky white in colour in the darkness. The Milky Sea phenomenon has been recognized to be in Get more content on HelpWriting.net
