Kindness Essay
If you asked people what they thought kindness was, what would they say? Would they give a generic answer? Would they say they didn't know?
Many would say that is being nice to others. But is that REALLY what kindness is? Is kindness for people to show appreciation for others? Is it a
way to show that you love someone? Not recently. Recently it has become a mask, a way to gain attention, and a way to make people think you are
better than them.
Kindness is a mask people use to hide their true identity. People use kindness as an excuse to draw attention to themselves. It is used as a way for
people to say, "Hey, look at me! I did something nice!" Quite often, celebrities and politicians post thing on social media, doing this exact thing....show

Then, your mom shows up. Immediately that friend "cleans up" their act and starts sucking up to you. They no longer think you are horrible at
everything, they think you are a great contribution to their life, and they are very appreciative of you. Many people deny that they do this, and that
they are a great people. They act very kind and nice, but truly are just hiding what is truly happening. Kindness is truly, just a mask, a cover for what
we don't want others to see.
Kindness is also a way to get attention. It used as a way to get people to look at you and notice you. Many use do this everyday. They seek attention,
and therefore do something nice. They boast about it, and get the attention they "deserve." This is something that we see everywhere, all of the time.
It is on social media, the news, and in everyday life. They boast about their kindness, because "You better toot your own horn. No one else will" (Mr.
Rose). Many use this as an excuse to make an act of kindness. They see an opportunity to get attention and dive right in. They use kindness as the way
to get attention. They use it to get attention and a reputation of perfection. An immense amount of people boast and brag about how they did something
good, and everyone knows. They tell everyone and hope to get people telling them they are so cool, and that they are perfect. But this just makes people
think that they are better than others.
Many also use

Being Kindness Definition Essay
Being kind is simple, kind words or actions could make someone's day better. If teens try something kind everyday the world would be a better place.
Kindness can be defined in many ways there are many different definitions but it means doing something nice for another person just to make their day.
"Always be a little kinder than nessacary"– James m. Barrie. Is a great quote to follow students can always do something kinder than nessacary to
make someone's day better. James m. Barrie was the producer of Peter Pan before he died he gave the rights of Peter Pan works to Great Ormond
Street Hospital for children. After he died all the movie funds went to the hospital. The kids got some of the money from the movie Peter Pan which
was very kind.

Definition Of Kindness
The definition of caring is " displaying kindness and concern for others," but isn't caring for someone or something more than just being kind?
Truly caring for someone means to care for them than yourself. If I you're kind to someone that doesn't mean I deeply care for them. One example
is if someone you meet broke their arm and you decided to help them carry their belongings. You and that person make it a daily thing. You both
decide you want to go on a camping trip. You start hiking and you suddenly get lost. Then you decide to make a shelter and rest there overnight.
The next morning you wake up earlier then your friend to try to find help. You explore for about 30 minutes and then see a road leading to a town.
You decide to go ahead and go to the town without thinking about your injured friend. In your mind he will be fine and he will find the town too.
But you don't know that, yet you decide to leave him anyway. If you really cared for that person you would've ran back and told him that you had
found help. Instead you thought of only yourself and left him. So you weren't the nice, honest, and caring person that you thought they were. Would
you want to do that to a person. No, the average person wouldn't do that. If a person appears to have all these good character traits that...show more

If you go into depth you would realize that when you are honest you care about that topic which leads you to being honest and not lying. If you care
about a person you are willing to be kind to them. Everyone should be able to care for someone or something. It doesn't matter what it is because
everyone should be able to say that they care for something in life. If that person doesn't have anything they can say that they care about then that
person would work on being a better person. " When you really care about someone, their happiness matters more than yours," said Anurag Prakash

Importance Of Kindness Essay
The golden rule: treat others how you would want to be treated." As a child, I was taught this rule by many different influencers: my parents, my karate
instructor, and even from the movie Bambi. Not only was it taught to me, but this rule is taught to different people all over the world. Unfortunately,
not everyone who is taught the rule lives by it. Kindness is a personal attribute that could change not only one person's day, it could make your whole
community happy. Despite this virtue lacking in many parts of an individual's personality, it remains the most important value of life.
Having a kind heart presents many opportunities. They could range from making somebody's day to forming a new relationship. With the hectic hustle

It would mean less destructive political campaigns, decreased threat and terrorism, and a happier, more peaceful world. If political leaders looked to
use kindness as a tactic to achieve goals I do believe it would be rejected at first, but once people begin to look at how positive the results are, the
tactics will pay off. As the threats of terrorist attacks become more prevalent and serious it raises questions about the effectiveness of these attempts.
Yes, the threats bring fear into the eyes of many but imagine how people you alter their opinions on the religions of these individuals if they preached
their beliefs with kindness and positivity.
No one can stress enough about how important the fulfillment of the golden rule is. It makes the world a better place, but before anyone can fully
fulfill this rule they must first treat themselves with kindness. Many people put others before themselves, this is a great characteristic to have but it
also could lead to self–destruction. When an individual does not treat their own life with kindness they begin to feel as if the acts they do are not
helpful, that they are not good enough to fulfill these acts, and they can become overwhelmed and stressed over the constant efforts to help others.
But, if people focus on themselves before they are consumed with the stresses of others it could lead to a healthier life and more effective

Kindness. What does kindness mean to you? Today I'm going to tell my point of view of what kindness is to me. To start off, it means being caring to
others no matter what kind. For example, if there is a mean person at work or school, and they look like they're having a hard time, help them. God
created man to work with each other, not against. Joshua 2:12 says, "Now then, please swear to me by the Lord that you will show kindness to my
family, because I have shown kindness to you. Give me a sure sign." This shows that you should treat others the way you want to be treated. Going
back to the mean kid in school, just give them a smile so they can feel comforted. All they need is comforting and help. William Arthur Ward said, "A

Essay On Kindness
Kindness is putting others feelings ahead of your own to make sure that they are staying strong in this messed up, cruel world. Kindness makes a
difference in the world by impacting the lives of individuals in a positive way every day. You may not think that a simple act can change someone's
day, but trust me when I say that people notice the slightest bit of generosity toward others. I understand that life is hard and everyone has mountains
they have to climb, but you never know what the people around you are going through. Kindness can be shown by just the smallest gesture. Others
don't comprehend that giving is better than receiving; it feels this hole in your heart with so much love. Everyone can show kindness; they just have
to have the want to, even if they are an enemy or have done you wrong in some way. Being kind gives you a better attitude and outlook on life. It
makes you more optimistic and more understanding. People hide their emotions so well in this day and age that you never know what someone might
be battling up against. Nobody wants the whole world to see what they are going through, so they put up a front so others don't see their problems. By
being kind to your peers and everyone around you, it makes you understand that life is difficult and different for everyone. Not only does kindness
change your heart, it changes your mindset. You know that even if someone has done you wrong, they still deserve kindness because that may be the
only uplift they have

Being Kindness Definition
Kindness I believe in the power of kindness. Have you ever thought that being kind could change at least one person's outlook on the day? Being
kind is a simple gesture that could make a huge difference in someone's life. Kindness is something I believe in because you never know how life is
for someone behind closed doors, you don't know someone's emotional state, and just being an all–around kind person will make you feel better about
yourself. Being mean to someone you don't know is just not okay because you aren't aware of their home life. You don't know what people go through
when they're not around and it could potentially just be worse on them. Just say "hi" to someone when you walk by to brighten

Definition Essay On Kindness
What is Kindness? Kindness can be described as being friendly, generous, and Considerate. Kindness is a great thing to especially if the world has not
been kind to you. But there's something beautiful about kindness that only happens rarely, it has the ability to inspire and most importantly it can
change someone. When you do that it will not only have a lasting impact on the person you shared kindness to but also on yourself. One example
shines from my compendium of kindness. It all started chaotically in my fifth–grade class as my teacher tried to explain fractions. As fifth graders, we
were wildly rambunctious, for the most part ignoring all that the teacher said, so when the test came around the students who hadn't

Definition Of Kindness Essay
The day was June 25, 2000. The heat was intense on that sunny day in Arlington, Texas. After hours and hours of waiting, a six pound fifteen
ounce little baby was born into this enormous, daunting world. Fast forward seventeen years, that little baby is now a senior at Winnfield Senior
High School. My mom says there are not enough words in the world to describe me, but I think I can sum it up using the letters of my name:
Kayla. K stands for kindness. It's a simple quality, but a very important one to possess. I believe kindness stretches for miles, which is why I strive
to be kind to every single person I encounter. Whether it's a short "you look nice today" or an elegant smile, any form of kindness makes a person feel

Did you know that nearly 700,000 children experience abuse each year? CASA's mission is to give every abused or neglected child an opportunity to
have a safe permanent home. According to CASA, there are 280,316 abused and neglected children that have a CASA volunteer speaking for their
best interests. Unfortunately, there are 432,677 children still waiting for a volunteer who is dedicated to finding them a safe, loving permanent home. I
am too young to foster a child; however I found a way to give back to such an inspiring organization. I collect donations from members in my
community to help the children in foster care experience simple things that we take for granted such as Christmas and birthday parties. The
donations go to the foster parents and assists in purchasing gifts or party supplies. I've enjoyed getting to know the young girls and boys involved
and hope to continue helping the foster care families in the future! In 2016, I interviewed to be a part of the Louisiana State Food and Fitness Board.
Fortunately, I was awarded one of twenty spots. Each year, we plan many activities, but my personal favorite is an overnight camp that allows other
teens to participate in exercises and gain information about health issues in today's society. Even though I'm a group leader and organizer, I still learn
new things just like the campers! My

Reflection On Kindness
As learned in class, Strengths reflect "Our natural capacity for behaving, thinking or feeling in a way that energizes us and allows optimal
functioning in the pursuit of valued outcomes." Whether people realize it or not, strengths are part of our identity. Most of the time people are
unable to see their personal strength simply because are focusing too much on their weaknesses. In other cases it can be due to family and peer
pressure, who made them believe that they are just nobody, good for nothing, they allowed external influences to cut off their wings, their abilities
to explore and put into practice what they are able to do. It is important for all humans to understand that life is all about a learning experience.
Through our experiences, we are able to recognize what we are good at as well as the things we are not so good at, by reflecting on ourselves we have
higher chances of becoming better...show more content...
Every time I think of Kindness this quote by Mark Twain comes to mind; "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see."
Kindness is not about just taking care of yourself, as Tayyab Rashid & Afroze Anjum (2005), VIA Character Strengths. Define kindness we
learned that: "Kindness consists of doing favors and good deeds for others without the expectation of personal gain. This strength requires respect
for others but also includes emotional affection. Kind people find joy in the act of giving and helping other people, regardless of their degree of
relatedness or similarity." Kindness is something that we often see on our campus, part of these acts are seen almost every day because we are a
Christian university. Also many of us live far away from home, so we have to learn to rely on one another to continue to move forward, as well as
creating everlasting friendships. The most important factor of kindness is that is not just about receiving, but it is more beneficial to give to others. For

The Importance Of Kindness
Kindness is the act of doing something nice towards others by showing concern and generosity. Everyday we experience an act of kindness from our
friends, family, or strangers and without someone acting kind to us then they start to act hostile to us. I was taught by my parents to always show
kindness to everyone around me no matter what kind of person they are; therefore, I started to act kind everyday by showing kindness to my friends and
family. While I acted kind to others I was able to receive kindness from strangers on the street, yet there has been times where I seen someone acting
hostile to me.
When I was young my parents had taught me to always be kind to others no matter what and that quote stuck around with me. I have always been a
bit shy so when I was able to make friends and becoming close to them I started to do kind things for them. There had been times where one of my
friends would be stressing over a test and not believing in theirself that I have to send some good luck texts or give them a speech on why they need to
be confident and positive. Two years ago in sophomore year I came across some new that my friends' favorite artist was coming over and I
immediately texted them about the news because this was once in a lifetime that my friends would be able to see their artist. I research everything so
I was able to help my friends buy their tickets and just seeing their excited face I knew I was doing the right thing.
While I was able to show kindness to my

Kindness Reflection
Your book has significantly changed my view of the kindness in our society. Kindness is like love, it blooms in some and lingers in others.
I grew up in New Ulm, Minnesota–a small town with a deep passion and obsession for their German heritage with a population of around 13,000.
Although with this town, it has a lack of diversity. The percentage of Caucasians is around 95%, which leaves the remaining 5% to non–Caucasians; I
am Chinese and part of that 5% of non–Caucasians. Being different here is a challenge, we have the friendly people that treat us decently, but then we
have the people that would give us a look of disgust or an intrusive stare. Similar to the looks that you got when people were judging you and your
yellow motorcycle. Growing up with that experience made me think that a large amount of the world was unkind and rude, but after reading your book,
I realized that there was kindness all around the world and it was very active in some.
It was astonishing to see very kind people help you on your journey from gas and food to a night to stay. Some were homeless, but they still gave
you the greatness of kindness. Although it may have been hard trying to get people willing to be kind enough to give you those needs. I'd say it was
challenging, like the challenge I deal with everyday. The task of getting people to not be rude to my family is a struggle. A simple smile to us is
appreciated as much as you getting gas from someone. We try to be cordial and friendly to

Kindness Definition Essay
Kindness. Kindness is like the season Autumn. It carries the golden, red, orange, and yellow leaves from one tree to the next, gathering more and
more leaves until a whole assortment of leaves is blowing in the breeze. Just like Autumn, Kindness spreads as it is passed on from person to person.
Kindness brings joy, happiness, and friendship as it flows from one act to the next like a river splitting into several directions. Kindness brings people
together, like the thousands leaves blowing and bunching onto someone's just–raked lawn.
Kindness can be demonstrated in a number of forms. At school, in home, around neighborhoods, during after school activities, and anywhere else you
can imagine. An act of KIndness does not have to change the world,

Speech About Kindnessness
A very simple way to spread more happiness in your own little world is through kindness. It's often an easy and quick thing you can do as you
move through your daily life. But we sometimes forget about it. Or don't remember how it can help us all. Three things that I like to keep in mind
and that help me to try to be a kinder person are these: I get what I give. Yep, some people will be ungrateful, miserable and not reciprocating no
matter what you may do. But most people will over time treat you as you treat them. By being kinder to others I am more likely to be kinder to
myself. It may sound a bit odd but my experience is that when I am kinder towards others then my self–esteem goes up. It creates a happier place to
live in. Being kinder...show more content...
1. Express your gratitude. Think about what you can be grateful for about someone in your life. Maybe that he is a good listener, that he often is
quick to help out or that he always adds great songs to a Spotify playlist. Or simply that he held up the door for you. Then express that gratitude in a
simple "thank you!" or in a sincere sentence or two. 2. Replace the judgments. No one likes to be judged. And the more you judge other people the
more you tend to judge yourself. So despite the temporary benefit of deriving pleasure from the judgments it is not a good or smart long–term habit.
When you feel the urge to judge ask yourself: what is one kind thing I can think or do in this situation instead? 3. Replace the unconstructive criticism.
Try encouragement instead of excessive criticism. It helps people to both raise their self–esteem and to do a better job. And it will make things more
fun and more light–hearted in the long run. 4. Put yourself in the other person's shoes. It is quite easy to resort to unkindness when you see things just
from your perspective. Two questions that help me to see and to better understand other viewpoints

Kindness Can Be Taught
Is kindness something that can be taught? Yes, it is! The good news is that kindness can be learned; just like any other behavior, it can be trained
through repetition and positive role modeling. The best part, teaching and showing kindness is fun and makes us feel great! As a primary teacher, I
love using books to get a point or lesson across to my students. Below, I have a list of wonderful books that encourage kind behavior and actions.
Along with the list of books, I have included other strategies that could be used along with an organization dedicated to random acts of kindness!
These are some of the books that I love to share throughout the year. –How Full is Your Bucket by Carol McCloud.–Have You Filled a Bucket Today?

Kindness Vs Kindness
Kindness is contagious. It keeps spreading and spreading until the whole earth is infected by its grace. However, I see kindness around me, but in me,
I can't see that. Yes, I'm kind to people but I don't have "Love Kindness" in myself. The thought of kindness is the main claim throughout Dr. Barry H.
Corey's book, "Love Kindness." While reflecting myself, I will examine the aspects on the ways that kindness is authentic and how it differs from
niceness through the Holy Spirit. Dr. Corey expresses the qualities that kindness has and he shows how it differs from niceness. Most, including myself,
thought and still sometimes think that niceness and kindness are one in the same. As Dr. Corey explains, they are not. He states, "Niceness is
Cosmetic," and "Kindness is fierce" (p. xiv). In other words, Corey believes that niceness is the makeup that goes on the outside and kindness is the
raging fire within. The Holy Spirit has a major role in kindness. He was the inventor of kindness. He put kindness in this world created in his own
kindness. He shows us kindness every day from the day he created the earth. He showed kindness to Adam and Eve and he sent kindness into this
world through Jesus. His niceness didn't give Him grace, kindness gave him grace. I have realized that all this time I thought I had kindness towards
others but really, I was only wearing the make–up. I was wearing the mask of niceness. How can I move on from being just nice to having kindness
through Christ? Authenticity is a part of kindness in the way of it being genuine. Dr. Corey describes how kindness is authentic by a way of
admittance. By admitting that we don't always have our lives together, figured out, or perfect is the beginning steps into kindness through Jesus Christ
(p.14). Authenticity is hard to come by in today's society. Technology is pulling us away from what is most important and that is to show kindness
and love. But, with authenticity comes "messiness" and uncertainty because in order to be kind through Jesus you have to admit that your life is not
together. I have been a victim of sexual harassment by a girl. I face uncertainty every day from hence forth. I face every day with a low hanging head,
my heart weighing

Kindness is the most powerful tool anybody can obtain because it only takes a good attitude. Being able to brighten somebody's day by a simple
smile or good morning shows how kindness is the most powerful thing. It really does take wisdom to have insight into what kindness really brings and
how kindness can affect so many people around you. First impressions are very important, especially when going through a job interview. Youwant the
employers to think nothing but positive about you and kindness helps enclose you with positivity. In education there are many times you are faced with
hardships and trials that you may never think you can overcome but all it takes is a good attitude. I believe kindness can be shown through your

Why Is Constant Kindness Important
As Albert Schweitzer once said, "Constant kindness can accomplish much." Kindness is important because it increases morale and makes success more
attainable. Kindness improves overall morale because affection naturally improves positivity and attitude. For example, France was kind to the thirteen
colonies after the Battle of Saratoga in the Revolutionary War, improving our supply and finance levels and in turn, our morale. With the French's
compassion, we had a better attitude towards winning our independence in the war . We eventually won the Revolution in high spirits due to the
French's compassion and benevolence they extended to America in times of battle. Kindness also enables more attainable success by allowing help
from others to contribute

Kindness Essay

  • 1. Kindness Essay If you asked people what they thought kindness was, what would they say? Would they give a generic answer? Would they say they didn't know? Many would say that is being nice to others. But is that REALLY what kindness is? Is kindness for people to show appreciation for others? Is it a way to show that you love someone? Not recently. Recently it has become a mask, a way to gain attention, and a way to make people think you are better than them. Kindness is a mask people use to hide their true identity. People use kindness as an excuse to draw attention to themselves. It is used as a way for people to say, "Hey, look at me! I did something nice!" Quite often, celebrities and politicians post thing on social media, doing this exact thing....show more content... Then, your mom shows up. Immediately that friend "cleans up" their act and starts sucking up to you. They no longer think you are horrible at everything, they think you are a great contribution to their life, and they are very appreciative of you. Many people deny that they do this, and that they are a great people. They act very kind and nice, but truly are just hiding what is truly happening. Kindness is truly, just a mask, a cover for what we don't want others to see. Kindness is also a way to get attention. It used as a way to get people to look at you and notice you. Many use do this everyday. They seek attention, and therefore do something nice. They use kindness as the way to get attention. They use it to get attention and a reputation of perfection. An immense amount of people boast and brag about how they did something good, and everyone knows. They tell everyone and hope to get people telling them they are so cool, and that they are perfect. But this just makes people think that they are better than others. Many also use Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Being Kindness Definition Essay Being kind is simple, kind words or actions could make someone's day better. If teens try something kind everyday the world would be a better place. Kindness can be defined in many ways there are many different definitions but it means doing something nice for another person just to make their day. "Always be a little kinder than nessacary"– James m. Barrie. Is a great quote to follow students can always do something kinder than nessacary to make someone's day better. James m. Barrie was the producer of Peter Pan before he died he gave the rights of Peter Pan works to Great Ormond Street Hospital for children. After he died all the movie funds went to the hospital. The kids got some of the money from the movie Peter Pan which was very kind. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Definition Of Kindness The definition of caring is " displaying kindness and concern for others," but isn't caring for someone or something more than just being kind? Truly caring for someone means to care for them than yourself. If I you're kind to someone that doesn't mean I deeply care for them. One example is if someone you meet broke their arm and you decided to help them carry their belongings. You and that person make it a daily thing. You both decide you want to go on a camping trip. If you really cared for that person you would've ran back and told him that you had found help. Instead you thought of only yourself and left him. So you weren't the nice, honest, and caring person that you thought they were. Would you want to do that to a person. No, the average person wouldn't do that. If a person appears to have all these good character traits that...show more content... If you go into depth you would realize that when you are honest you care about that topic which leads you to being honest and not lying. If you care about a person you are willing to be kind to them. Everyone should be able to care for someone or something. It doesn't matter what it is because everyone should be able to say that they care for something in life. If that person doesn't have anything they can say that they care about then that person would work on being a better person. " When you really care about someone, their happiness matters more than yours," said Anurag Prakash Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Importance Of Kindness Essay The golden rule: treat others how you would want to be treated." As a child, I was taught this rule by many different influencers: my parents, my karate instructor, and even from the movie Bambi. Not only was it taught to me, but this rule is taught to different people all over the world. Unfortunately, not everyone who is taught the rule lives by it. Kindness is a personal attribute that could change not only one person's day, it could make your whole community happy. Despite this virtue lacking in many parts of an individual's personality, it remains the most important value of life. Having a kind heart presents many opportunities. They could range from making somebody's day to forming a new relationship. With the hectic hustle and...show more content... It would mean less destructive political campaigns, decreased threat and terrorism, and a happier, more peaceful world. If political leaders looked to use kindness as a tactic to achieve goals I do believe it would be rejected at first, but once people begin to look at how positive the results are, the tactics will pay off. As the threats of terrorist attacks become more prevalent and serious it raises questions about the effectiveness of these attempts. Yes, the threats bring fear into the eyes of many but imagine how people you alter their opinions on the religions of these individuals if they preached their beliefs with kindness and positivity. No one can stress enough about how important the fulfillment of the golden rule is. It makes the world a better place, but before anyone can fully fulfill this rule they must first treat themselves with kindness. Many people put others before themselves, this is a great characteristic to have but it also could lead to self–destruction. When an individual does not treat their own life with kindness they begin to feel as if the acts they do are not helpful, that they are not good enough to fulfill these acts, and they can become overwhelmed and stressed over the constant efforts to help others. But, if people focus on themselves before they are consumed with the stresses of others it could lead to a healthier life and more effective Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Definition Of Kindness Kindness. What does kindness mean to you? Today I'm going to tell my point of view of what kindness is to me. To start off, it means being caring to others no matter what kind. For example, if there is a mean person at work or school, and they look like they're having a hard time, help them. God created man to work with each other, not against. Joshua 2:12 says, "Now then, please swear to me by the Lord that you will show kindness to my family, because I have shown kindness to you. Give me a sure sign." This shows that you should treat others the way you want to be treated. Going back to the mean kid in school, just give them a smile so they can feel comforted. All they need is comforting and help. William Arthur Ward said, "A warm smile is Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Essay On Kindness Kindness is putting others feelings ahead of your own to make sure that they are staying strong in this messed up, cruel world. Kindness makes a difference in the world by impacting the lives of individuals in a positive way every day. You may not think that a simple act can change someone's day, but trust me when I say that people notice the slightest bit of generosity toward others. I understand that life is hard and everyone has mountains they have to climb, but you never know what the people around you are going through. Kindness can be shown by just the smallest gesture. Others don't comprehend that giving is better than receiving; it feels this hole in your heart with so much love. Everyone can show kindness; they just have to have the want to, even if they are an enemy or have done you wrong in some way. Being kind gives you a better attitude and outlook on life. It makes you more optimistic and more understanding. People hide their emotions so well in this day and age that you never know what someone might be battling up against. Nobody wants the whole world to see what they are going through, so they put up a front so others don't see their problems. By being kind to your peers and everyone around you, it makes you understand that life is difficult and different for everyone. Not only does kindness change your heart, it changes your mindset. You know that even if someone has done you wrong, they still deserve kindness because that may be the only uplift they have Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Being Kindness Definition Kindness I believe in the power of kindness. Have you ever thought that being kind could change at least one person's outlook on the day? Being kind is a simple gesture that could make a huge difference in someone's life. Kindness is something I believe in because you never know how life is for someone behind closed doors, you don't know someone's emotional state, and just being an all–around kind person will make you feel better about yourself. Being mean to someone you don't know is just not okay because you aren't aware of their home life. You don't know what people go through when they're not around and it could potentially just be worse on them. Just say "hi" to someone when you walk by to brighten Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Definition Essay On Kindness What is Kindness? Kindness can be described as being friendly, generous, and Considerate. Kindness is a great thing to especially if the world has not been kind to you. But there's something beautiful about kindness that only happens rarely, it has the ability to inspire and most importantly it can change someone. When you do that it will not only have a lasting impact on the person you shared kindness to but also on yourself. One example shines from my compendium of kindness. It all started chaotically in my fifth–grade class as my teacher tried to explain fractions. As fifth graders, we were wildly rambunctious, for the most part ignoring all that the teacher said, so when the test came around the students who hadn't Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Definition Of Kindness Essay The day was June 25, 2000. The heat was intense on that sunny day in Arlington, Texas. After hours and hours of waiting, a six pound fifteen ounce little baby was born into this enormous, daunting world. Fast forward seventeen years, that little baby is now a senior at Winnfield Senior High School. My mom says there are not enough words in the world to describe me, but I think I can sum it up using the letters of my name: Kayla. K stands for kindness. It's a simple quality, but a very important one to possess. I believe kindness stretches for miles, which is why I strive to be kind to every single person I encounter. Whether it's a short "you look nice today" or an elegant smile, any form of kindness makes a person feel exceptional. I...show more content... Did you know that nearly 700,000 children experience abuse each year? CASA's mission is to give every abused or neglected child an opportunity to have a safe permanent home. According to CASA, there are 280,316 abused and neglected children that have a CASA volunteer speaking for their best interests. Unfortunately, there are 432,677 children still waiting for a volunteer who is dedicated to finding them a safe, loving permanent home. I am too young to foster a child; however I found a way to give back to such an inspiring organization. I collect donations from members in my community to help the children in foster care experience simple things that we take for granted such as Christmas and birthday parties. The donations go to the foster parents and assists in purchasing gifts or party supplies. I've enjoyed getting to know the young girls and boys involved and hope to continue helping the foster care families in the future! In 2016, I interviewed to be a part of the Louisiana State Food and Fitness Board. Fortunately, I was awarded one of twenty spots. Each year, we plan many activities, but my personal favorite is an overnight camp that allows other teens to participate in exercises and gain information about health issues in today's society. Even though I'm a group leader and organizer, I still learn new things just like the campers! My Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Reflection On Kindness As learned in class, Strengths reflect "Our natural capacity for behaving, thinking or feeling in a way that energizes us and allows optimal functioning in the pursuit of valued outcomes." Whether people realize it or not, strengths are part of our identity. Most of the time people are unable to see their personal strength simply because are focusing too much on their weaknesses. In other cases it can be due to family and peer pressure, who made them believe that they are just nobody, good for nothing, they allowed external influences to cut off their wings, their abilities to explore and put into practice what they are able to do. It is important for all humans to understand that life is all about a learning experience. Through our experiences, we are able to recognize what we are good at as well as the things we are not so good at, by reflecting on ourselves we have higher chances of becoming better...show more content... Every time I think of Kindness this quote by Mark Twain comes to mind; "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see." Kindness is not about just taking care of yourself, as Tayyab Rashid & Afroze Anjum (2005), VIA Character Strengths. Define kindness we learned that: "Kindness consists of doing favors and good deeds for others without the expectation of personal gain. This strength requires respect for others but also includes emotional affection. Kind people find joy in the act of giving and helping other people, regardless of their degree of relatedness or similarity." Kindness is something that we often see on our campus, part of these acts are seen almost every day because we are a Christian university. Also many of us live far away from home, so we have to learn to rely on one another to continue to move forward, as well as creating everlasting friendships. The most important factor of kindness is that is not just about receiving, but it is more beneficial to give to others. For sharing is Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. The Importance Of Kindness Kindness is the act of doing something nice towards others by showing concern and generosity. Everyday we experience an act of kindness from our friends, family, or strangers and without someone acting kind to us then they start to act hostile to us. I was taught by my parents to always show kindness to everyone around me no matter what kind of person they are; therefore, I started to act kind everyday by showing kindness to my friends and family. While I acted kind to others I was able to receive kindness from strangers on the street, yet there has been times where I seen someone acting hostile to me. When I was young my parents had taught me to always be kind to others no matter what and that quote stuck around with me. I have always been a bit shy so when I was able to make friends and becoming close to them I started to do kind things for them. There had been times where one of my friends would be stressing over a test and not believing in theirself that I have to send some good luck texts or give them a speech on why they need to be confident and positive. Two years ago in sophomore year I came across some new that my friends' favorite artist was coming over and I immediately texted them about the news because this was once in a lifetime that my friends would be able to see their artist. I research everything so I was able to help my friends buy their tickets and just seeing their excited face I knew I was doing the right thing. • 12. Kindness Reflection Your book has significantly changed my view of the kindness in our society. Kindness is like love, it blooms in some and lingers in others. I grew up in New Ulm, Minnesota–a small town with a deep passion and obsession for their German heritage with a population of around 13,000. Although with this town, it has a lack of diversity. The percentage of Caucasians is around 95%, which leaves the remaining 5% to non–Caucasians; I am Chinese and part of that 5% of non–Caucasians. Being different here is a challenge, we have the friendly people that treat us decently, but then we have the people that would give us a look of disgust or an intrusive stare. Similar to the looks that you got when people were judging you and your yellow motorcycle. Growing up with that experience made me think that a large amount of the world was unkind and rude, but after reading your book, I realized that there was kindness all around the world and it was very active in some. It was astonishing to see very kind people help you on your journey from gas and food to a night to stay. Some were homeless, but they still gave you the greatness of kindness. Although it may have been hard trying to get people willing to be kind enough to give you those needs. I'd say it was challenging, like the challenge I deal with everyday. The task of getting people to not be rude to my family is a struggle. A simple smile to us is appreciated as much as you getting gas from someone. • 13. Kindness Definition Essay Kindness. Kindness is like the season Autumn. It carries the golden, red, orange, and yellow leaves from one tree to the next, gathering more and more leaves until a whole assortment of leaves is blowing in the breeze. Just like Autumn, Kindness spreads as it is passed on from person to person. Kindness brings joy, happiness, and friendship as it flows from one act to the next like a river splitting into several directions. Kindness brings people together, like the thousands leaves blowing and bunching onto someone's just–raked lawn. Kindness can be demonstrated in a number of forms. At school, in home, around neighborhoods, during after school activities, and anywhere else you can imagine. An act of KIndness does not have to change the world, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Speech About Kindnessness A very simple way to spread more happiness in your own little world is through kindness. It's often an easy and quick thing you can do as you move through your daily life. But we sometimes forget about it. Or don't remember how it can help us all. Three things that I like to keep in mind and that help me to try to be a kinder person are these: I get what I give. Yep, some people will be ungrateful, miserable and not reciprocating no matter what you may do. But most people will over time treat you as you treat them. By being kinder to others I am more likely to be kinder to myself. It may sound a bit odd but my experience is that when I am kinder towards others then my self–esteem goes up. It creates a happier place to live in. Being kinder...show more content... 1. Express your gratitude. Think about what you can be grateful for about someone in your life. Maybe that he is a good listener, that he often is quick to help out or that he always adds great songs to a Spotify playlist. Or simply that he held up the door for you. Then express that gratitude in a simple "thank you!" or in a sincere sentence or two. 2. Replace the judgments. No one likes to be judged. And the more you judge other people the more you tend to judge yourself. And it will make things more fun and more light–hearted in the long run. 4. Put yourself in the other person's shoes. It is quite easy to resort to unkindness when you see things just from your perspective. • 15. Kindness Can Be Taught Is kindness something that can be taught? Yes, it is! The good news is that kindness can be learned; just like any other behavior, it can be trained through repetition and positive role modeling. The best part, teaching and showing kindness is fun and makes us feel great! As a primary teacher, I love using books to get a point or lesson across to my students. Below, I have a list of wonderful books that encourage kind behavior and actions. Along with the list of books, I have included other strategies that could be used along with an organization dedicated to random acts of kindness! • 16. Kindness Vs Kindness Kindness is contagious. It keeps spreading and spreading until the whole earth is infected by its grace. However, I see kindness around me, but in me, I can't see that. Yes, I'm kind to people but I don't have "Love Kindness" in myself. The thought of kindness is the main claim throughout Dr. Barry H. Corey's book, "Love Kindness." While reflecting myself, I will examine the aspects on the ways that kindness is authentic and how it differs from niceness through the Holy Spirit. Dr. Corey expresses the qualities that kindness has and he shows how it differs from niceness. Most, including myself, thought and still sometimes think that niceness and kindness are one in the same. As Dr. Corey explains, they are not. He states, "Niceness is Cosmetic," and "Kindness is fierce" (p. xiv). In other words, Corey believes that niceness is the makeup that goes on the outside and kindness is the raging fire within. The Holy Spirit has a major role in kindness. He was the inventor of kindness. He put kindness in this world created in his own kindness. He shows us kindness every day from the day he created the earth. He showed kindness to Adam and Eve and he sent kindness into this world through Jesus. His niceness didn't give Him grace, kindness gave him grace. I have realized that all this time I thought I had kindness towards others but really, I was only wearing the make–up. I was wearing the mask of niceness. How can I move on from being just nice to having kindness through Christ? Authenticity is a part of kindness in the way of it being genuine. Dr. Corey describes how kindness is authentic by a way of admittance. By admitting that we don't always have our lives together, figured out, or perfect is the beginning steps into kindness through Jesus Christ (p.14). Authenticity is hard to come by in today's society. Technology is pulling us away from what is most important and that is to show kindness and love. But, with authenticity comes "messiness" and uncertainty because in order to be kind through Jesus you have to admit that your life is not together. I have been a victim of sexual harassment by a girl. I face uncertainty every day from hence forth. I face every day with a low hanging head, my heart weighing Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Definition Essay About Kindness Kindness is the most powerful tool anybody can obtain because it only takes a good attitude. Being able to brighten somebody's day by a simple smile or good morning shows how kindness is the most powerful thing. It really does take wisdom to have insight into what kindness really brings and how kindness can affect so many people around you.
