2. Contemporary design emphasizes function over form, yet pays respect to the value of form in expressing ideas. I have taken to this to heart in all of my works. This work illustrates my formal minimalism: It offers no extravagance, but only a pointed message about the hardships faced in the modern world

These symbols come from an early project of mine, in which I attempted to combine several principles of graphic design with several design elements

I decided to keep to a circular theme, relying on a diagonal asymmetry to provoke thoughts in the mind of the viewer. The top left is a rough version of the final one, which utilizes smooth lines.

8. This text is from a children’s story that I modified. The page this was initially simply a wall of text . I provided a long space to distinguish the overall theme of the page from its contents, creating a powerful juxtaposition between the two elements. The shift in the color of the text Gives strength to the whole message, and adds variety to the piece as a whole.
9. This selection comes from my third project, which was supposed to convey a statement about the evolution of art. The diagonal line serves to represent progress, and the surrounding images represent the consistency of art in spite of social transitions over time
