The PRECEDE–PROCEED model is by far the most popular and most researched model in the field of health promotion and health education. It has
been in existence for decades, and professional health educators are familiar with this model. It is very comprehensive and covers all areas of planning.
The initiation of the model utilizes community inputs and participation (Sharma & Romas, 2012).
The Model calls for a deductive approach to assessing populations unmet needs. In the state of Virginia, there are several factors that influence teen
pregnancy rates. Young women may be at higher risk for teen pregnancy if they: use alcohol and/or other drugs, drop out of school, lack involvement
in school/family/community, perceive little or no opportunity for success, live in a community or attend a school where early childbearing is
common, grow up under impoverished conditions, have been victims of sexual abuse/assault, have a mother aged 19 or younger when she gave birth,
or began dating at age 12 years old (Measuring, 2012).
Virginia works to deliver access to and availability of: family–planning services, children's access to primary care providers, mental health and

The fearless of all parents who have teenagers is pregnancy. Nowadays, teen pregnancy is a serious problem. Teenage have a lack of skills to handle a

had pregnancies as a teenager have a college degree. Moreover, one–third of children born to teenage mothers earn a high school diploma, compared to

Teenage pregnancy is one of many issues that the United States has. It is one issue that can be fixed easily and should be waited upon until teens are

The likelihood of a teenager becoming pregnant can be due to a number of influencing factors. One of those factors being that teen moms now have
grown up in poverty or low income with little to no access to a good education or good employment; it is seen at the norm in that environment (Hurd &

read about different statics about teen pregnancy, that alone is reason enough to create preventing programs about teen pregnancy. Knowing that teen
pregnancy is closely linked to a host of other critical social issue, e.g. poverty, income, overall child well–being, health issue, education, just to name a

One reason for teen pregnancy is the lack of information that is given to students in middle and high school about sex and how to prevent it from
happening. Also, the lack amount of talks from parents that they can give to their teen. I wouldn't say there isn't any education given out to students
about sex, but there isn't ENOUGH to make pre–teens and teens to fully understand and have the right mind set about sex. Many schools won't really
focus on the topic about teen pregnancy because it really doesn't have much about academics and that's really understandable, but at the end of the day
teens are also human and do make mistakes. I believe schools should give education about teen pregnancy as much as the other subjects. The topic of
teen pregnancy shouldn't be left out because talking to your teen about sex can definitely influence their lifestyle. Many teens would learn about sex in
the streets which it totally horrible because 9/10, the streets will educate them to have sex rather than not to. The solution to this problem is that

Background: Globally, pregnancy and childbirth complications are the major cause of death among 15 to 19 year olds. Teenage pregnancy and
childbirth is a common health problem in industrialized, middle or low income countries. It is also a major social and health problem in Nepal and
occurs two times higher in rural areas than in urban areas. The purpose of this study was to explore maternal and foetal outcomes among teenage
mothers and their perception regarding teenage pregnancy and childbirth. Methods: Descriptive exploratory, cross sectional study design was used.
Simple random sampling technique was used to select the hospital and purposive sampling was used for the selection of the study population and total
population was 245 teenage mothers delivered at hospital. Written consent was obtained from each respondent.Semi structured interview schedule was
