EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
YOUNGHEART ANIMATION
creator & producer of ‘FernGully...The Last Rainforest’
presents
Imagine...a 21st
Century Disney Channel on the Net all round the world,
but more like an amazing interactive “Fantasia Channel” for little
children and their parents.
Imagine...an interactive, 24/7 web portal dedicated to children, not only
safe but also inspiring, where children can explore spirited stories and
songs and art by themselves, finding their own way through the
wonderful content of DreamBeaming.
Imagine...children round the world choosing to watch captivating
stories expressed in high-quality artistic animation...but also able to
watch live performances of the DreamTunes performed to groups of
children, learning all the lyrics of the songs so they can sing along, or
watching the DreamArtist paint and learning to paint, playing the
browser game through The Land of Dreams by themselves, learning
English as they watch and play, learning life lessons while they’re
being entertained with stories and characters and songs.
Imagine...all of this being delivered online to many millions of homes,
so that children by themselves, or with the help of parents, can play in
a Virtual World in a real worldwide safe Social Community.
Imagine...DreamBeaming.
3
Youngheart Animation: A children’s content creation company from Australia.
We created and produced FernGully as a breakthrough feature film in the 90s,
and have since created and developed very substantial children’s content for
online delivery as a Virtual World of Dreams and a Social Community via the Web,
our first project being DreamBeaming....
DreamBeaming: Spirited content for children, lovingly created and carefully
developed over many years. Enormous unfulfilled demand and profit potential
worldwide. Nothing like it available. DreamBeaming can be a new interactive
"Fantasia Channel" for children for the good of the future of our planet.
Synopsis: DreamBeaming is one giant contagious exploration experience that
takes children on a mentally stimulating and enriching ride, connecting them with
other children all round the world. For the first time, multi-award-winning teams of
filmmakers, musicians, animators, artists and online digital experts collaborate to
deliver magical unique content created by Diana Young (FernGully), via a
captivating Multiplayer Adventure Virtual World.
Projections: Conservatively forecasting subscription revenue of: $15M in year 3,
$80M in year 4, $130M in year 5 and $250M+ p/a thereafter. The Top 10
performing Multiplayers of 2008 all returned US$50M to US$1B p/a.
WebKinz.com, the largest children’s Multiplayer Virtual World, returns $750M+
p/a.
Business Model: DreamBeaming uniquely combines a number of proven
business models into one unparalleled value proposition. Within a children’s
Social Community and Virtual World DreamBeaming delivers continuous
entertaining animated storytelling via its online HDTV and in Web Browser
Games. DreamBeaming adds great entertainment & educational content to the
staggering Massive Multiplayer monthly subscription business model used by
ClubPenguin.com, which generates over US$250M p/a (Club Penguin sold to
Disney for US$700M only 36 months after launching, when it was generating
US$70M p/a). DreamBeaming revenue streams from browser games,
subscriptions, micro transactions, virtual currency, e-commerce (books, DVDs,
songs, art, merchandise and other downloads).
4
The Content: DreamBeaming is underpinned by Diana Young’s enchanting
stories, featuring over 50 endearing characters, full of catchy songs, immersed in
beautiful artistry, loaded with fun. When amalgamated with DreamBeaming’s
savvy online digital strategy, the world’s first 100% safe ‘Interactive DreamLand
is brought to life as a 21st
Century “Fantasia Channel”, absorbing both children &
parents.
Target Market: The most important people in the world: little children aged 3 to 8
years. It’s for the very young plus the young at heart, their parents, grandparents,
family and friends. An under-supplied, huge worldwide market continually
renewed as children are born.
Revenue Projections: Based on proven Massive Multiplayer Online Game
(MMOG) formulas & assumptions that successfully monetize between 5-10% of
the Free Membership base into Paying Subscribers (business model used by Club
Penguin: 6% paying members).
Revenue Projections
• $15M p/a in Year 3
• $80M p/a in Year 4
• $130M p/a in Year 5
• $250M p/a in Year 6+
5
Global Accessibility: DreamBeaming is not just an interactive website. It’s an
engaging content-rich portal, Social Community and Virtual World that can be
accessed and experienced worldwide via any mobile phone, iPad, any Plasma or
LCD screen connected to the Internet (home entertainment unit), as well as a
range of other digital devices.
Values & Education: DreamBeaming epitomizes 21st Century delivery of
meaningful rich media content with the capacity to impact children’s lives
positively and make a difference to the world. The inherent philosophy behind all
stories & themes encourages caring for others, ethics, education, environmental
awareness, reverent social skills and the accurate use of the English language.
Each story contains life lessons and moral values wrapped up in music, art, fun
and games.
Content is King (& Queen): The secret to success in an online business is an
abundant supply of ‘sticky content’, which DreamBeaming has (animation
equivalent to 9 feature films in running time). It's time for high quality, classic
stories, captivating songs, stunning art. The children of the world, our future,
deserve nothing less, and parents yearn for it.
Consumer Value Proposition: The DreamBeaming proposition never ends.
Once children & parents engage and explore DreamBeaming they begin a life-
changing journey that remains a part of their lives forever.....
Star Players: Cast will include world famous stars as character voices &
musicians. Youngheart’s previous projects had the involvement of: Robin
Williams, Sting, Julian Lennon, Christian Slater, Elton John, Sheena Easton, Tim
Curry, Olivia Newton-John & Pierce Brosnan.
6
Main Portal Windows: The entire DreamBeaming site is a unique MMOG, a
Browser Game played in The Land of Dreams. Main windows driving traffic are:
DreamTales, beginning with stories read by the Creator, Diana Young, and then
by star readers, evolving into a stream of animated snippets of DreamTales and
then episodes; DreamTunes, beginning with songs being performed to children
by the songwriters, evolving continually as other star performers play
DreamTunes to kids, then all songs as animated “music videos”, like a Youtube
for children; DreamArt, beginning with the DreamArtist creating original paintings
and teaching art, evolving into a flow of art to children and from children; and the
DreamStore, where free and paying subscribers can purchase all things
DreamBeaming.
7
Multi-Award-Winning Team (and more to come):

Executive Producer: Wayne Young (Crocodile Dundee, FernGully)
Executive Producer: Scott Young (Formula 1, RPM, Top Gear Australia,
FernGully)

ProTalentSites.com (Aus Industry Innovation Award).
Web Advisors: Tim Allison (Omake, Interplay, Sega); Bill McIntosh (Torus).
Business Consultant: Doug Hawkins (BT, HP, EDS, AOL, AT2, Hutchison)
Animation Director: Chris Hauge (Halo Pictures)
Character Designer: Stephen Axelsen.
Animation Producer: Lisa Hague (Halo Pictures)
Music Producer: Steve James (Teletubbies)
Copyright lawyers: Colin Seeger, Damien Pembroke.
Endorsements: Leading children’s entertainment experts have stated:
• “DreamBeaming is the best project for little children I have ever seen”
(Peter Orton, founder of HIT Entertainment – with Jim Henson)
• “The DreamBeaming stories will last forever”
(Rich Collins, CEO of children’s licensing company Big Tent in New York)
• “We will do the toys as soon as DreamBeaming is in production”
(Fisher Price)
Future Expressions: DreamBeaming has the potential to become an
international brand and network for children's content. It could become a feature
film, a TV series, live theatre, all linked to its own dynamic, compassionate and
sustainable philanthropic foundation.....
The DreamBeaming Foundation: DreamBeaming is dedicated, through its
DreamBeaming Foundation for underprivileged children and their environment, to
the human rights and clean ecology of all children, and to peace through
education. These are lofty aims, but every step counts, every initiative
matters. FernGully donated $4M to Greenpeace, The Rainforest Foundation, The
Sierra Club and The Smithsonian (for biodiversity studies), in addition to bringing
the rainforest issue and awareness to tens of millions of children and parents.
8
The DreamBeaming Foundation will fund direct action projects, helping needy
children worldwide. Micro fundings will be tracked and documented on The
DreamBeaming Foundation site within the DreamBeaming “mother ship” site,
growing exponentially into a major collective action. Children and parents all
around the world will be able to see, be inspired by, and participate in this
worthwhile and sustainable humanitarian initiative. DreamBeaming is a project to
be proud of.
Potential Studio: Although we are funding production and delivery in progressive
stages, our ultimate mission is to fund Youngheart Animation as a full production
studio to produce and manage all DreamBeaming content, its digital platform and
site & social community. In this studio we could also create The FernGully
Rainforest site based on the content of the film, viral market to tens of millions of
FernGully fans, create a Social Community and Browser Game. Avatar is widely
recognized as derivative from FernGully, which has helped to promote FernGully
all over again. This 21st
Century concept of combining classic timeless content
with heart and integrity, plus world’s best digital build and delivery, creates a
timely and appropriate model for a sustainable and profitable studio business. It
would excite the media and prove to be an entertainment phenomenon for the
benefit of children. Worldwide awareness and recognition would bring us massive
audience attention, promotion we could not pay for, and would accelerate the
exponential aggregation of a very large worldwide social community.
Visionary Partners: Youngheart Animation, through its majority-owned subsidiary
DreamBeaming Pty Ltd, is seeking strategic visionary and financial partners who
want to see an outstanding ROI as well as contribute to something worthwhile for
the children. Investment to date is AU$3M. We seek further investment to fund the
production of key content and the build of the dynamic DreamBeaming
Multiplayer Edutainment Portal & Online HDTV Channel, and to prove the
Business Model of free and paying subscribers, micro transactions, web browser
games, plus e-commerce.
9
The Future is Here: “Cloud computing” delivers common business applications
online, accessed from a web browser, while the software and data are stored on
the servers. Users consume resources as a service and pay only as they use.
This era of cloud computing opens up an exciting opportunities for Social and
Browser games, which are not related to any consoles and don't need specific
hardware to run. This is already a very big genre and growing dramatically,
especially in Asia. Industry experts recognize that “the potential size of the
Browser Game market is enormous”, and that online, subscription and
microtransaction-based games will likely become “bigger than all the console
games put together from 2010 onwards”.
The DreamBeaming Phenomenon: We are claiming DreamBeaming will be a
breakthrough “phenomenon” on these grounds: (1) the content is acknowledged
by many as unique, engaging, educational and spirited; (2) the content will be
produced to the highest quality, making it stand out on the Net, and ensuring it will
last; (3) there is a mass of DreamBeaming content, not just beautiful animation but
songs, art and games galore; (4) the time is right and the demand for such
children’s entertainment is strong worldwide; (5) DreamBeaming is safe, has
integrity, and contains life lessons; (6) The marketing of DreamBeaming is
synonymous with the content, meaning the unique content is the actual viral
marketing using the Net to the max via all existing and future portals to bring
children and parents round the world to DreamBeaming.tv, the “Fantasia
Channel” of the future, a phenomenon in children’s entertainment.

winning educational media developer and publisher in Boston, USA. FableVision will
bring to the project their expertise in designing and creating educational gambooks.

  • 9. 8 The DreamBeaming Foundation will fund direct action projects, helping needy children worldwide. Micro fundings will be tracked and documented on The DreamBeaming Foundation site within the DreamBeaming “mother ship” site, growing exponentially into a major collective action. Children and parents all around the world will be able to see, be inspired by, and participate in this worthwhile and sustainable humanitarian initiative. DreamBeaming is a project to be proud of. Potential Studio: Although we are funding production and delivery in progressive stages, our ultimate mission is to fund Youngheart Animation as a full production studio to produce and manage all DreamBeaming content, its digital platform and site & social community. In this studio we could also create The FernGully Rainforest site based on the content of the film, viral market to tens of millions of FernGully fans, create a Social Community and Browser Game. Avatar is widely recognized as derivative from FernGully, which has helped to promote FernGully all over again. This 21st Century concept of combining classic timeless content with heart and integrity, plus world’s best digital build and delivery, creates a timely and appropriate model for a sustainable and profitable studio business. It would excite the media and prove to be an entertainment phenomenon for the benefit of children. Worldwide awareness and recognition would bring us massive audience attention, promotion we could not pay for, and would accelerate the exponential aggregation of a very large worldwide social community. Visionary Partners: Youngheart Animation, through its majority-owned subsidiary DreamBeaming Pty Ltd, is seeking strategic visionary and financial partners who want to see an outstanding ROI as well as contribute to something worthwhile for the children. Investment to date is AU$3M. We seek further investment to fund the production of key content and the build of the dynamic DreamBeaming Multiplayer Edutainment Portal & Online HDTV Channel, and to prove the Business Model of free and paying subscribers, micro transactions, web browser games, plus e-commerce.
  • 10. 9 The Future is Here: “Cloud computing” delivers common business applications online, accessed from a web browser, while the software and data are stored on the servers. Users consume resources as a service and pay only as they use. This era of cloud computing opens up an exciting opportunities for Social and Browser games, which are not related to any consoles and don't need specific hardware to run. This is already a very big genre and growing dramatically, especially in Asia. Industry experts recognize that “the potential size of the Browser Game market is enormous”, and that online, subscription and microtransaction-based games will likely become “bigger than all the console games put together from 2010 onwards”. The DreamBeaming Phenomenon: We are claiming DreamBeaming will be a breakthrough “phenomenon” on these grounds: (1) the content is acknowledged by many as unique, engaging, educational and spirited; (2) the content will be produced to the highest quality, making it stand out on the Net, and ensuring it will last; (3) there is a mass of DreamBeaming content, not just beautiful animation but songs, art and games galore; (4) the time is right and the demand for such children’s entertainment is strong worldwide; (5) DreamBeaming is safe, has integrity, and contains life lessons; (6) The marketing of DreamBeaming is synonymous with the content, meaning the unique content is the actual viral marketing using the Net to the max via all existing and future portals to bring children and parents round the world to DreamBeaming.tv, the “Fantasia Channel” of the future, a phenomenon in children’s entertainment.
