• Develop P&ID and support for maintaining the P&ID’s through the
course of each project phase
• Create & support development of the Instrument Index, I/O List, and
all design deliverables
• Support development of material / labor TIC cost estimates
• Support development of engineering / design effort hour estimates
• Support incorporation of control systems content into mechanical
equipment vendor packages
• Work closely with process engineers to obtain process data
for use in specifying tagged field instruments like PV pressure,
temperature, flow, level and etc.
• Fully coordinate with HVC work share office to ensure work
packages are being prepared incompliance with home office
requirements
• Able to provide technical direction for selection of items to be
specified or purchased, ensure compliance with client requirements
and standards, check specifications, data sheets and requisition
packages prepared by others
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications and requisition
packages for inquiry and purchase
• Prepare technical bid evaluations and make recommendations for
purchase
• Interface with suppliers to ensure compliance with specifications
• Review vendor data to assure specifications and project requirements
are met.
Training and Experience:
• BSEE degree from University Of Arizona and I will be achieving to
have my CA. PE
• I worked on 2 large projects as lead I&C engineer, the first one on
Ontario Hydro project in Canada and the other on Taiwan – Taichung
project. Also I worked in design phase with Texaco refinery in Long
Beach on contract bases.
• I have sound knowledge of the application, specification and
installation of tagged field instruments
• Excellent understanding of P&ID symbols and presentation
techniques
• I have full knowledge of the using smart field devices, PLC/DCS ,
and smart control valves all integrate in Smart Plant using (Intools)
• I have strong experience in inspection and testing of instrumentation
items
• Experience in instrument installation requirements
