2. Job Responsibilities
• To Scrutinize the Contract Design Drawings, Specification & Schedules.
• Review of design and specification and proposing for Value engineering if possible
• Raising RFI’S for any design related issues and missing information’s
• Coordinating with the Main Contractors for the builders work for the Electromechanical
Installations.
• Preparation of shop drawings coordinating with CADD team.
• Quantity Take off from drawings and schedules
• Sending inquiries ,evaluating quotations technically and commercially
• Preparation of bid tabs and technical evaluation for each suppliers
• Preparing Material Submittal complying with the specification and getting the consultant’s
approval.
• Preparing response to consultant comments on submittals.
• Calculation for the pump heads & ESP calculation for AHU’S,OAHU’S, FCU’S & FANS for the
equipment selection
• Proper selection of other HVAC items complying with the specification & site conditions.
• Assisting QA/QC engineers & safety officers to prepare the method of statements and risk
assessments.
• Raising the Purchase requisition as per approved material submittal and chasing procurement
dept and suppliers for materials
• Coordinating with construction managers to solve the issues in the site
• Ensure that all HVAC site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per approved
shop drawings, Method of Statements, Specification and Work plan.
• Regular Site inspections, Supervisions and preparing progress report
• Assisting QA/QC engineers to get the inspection requests approved by the consultant.
• Attending weekly MEP Meeting with project manager and construction managers to discuss the
issues and progress of the project.
• Coordinating with electrical and fire protection engineers for developing Cause and Effect Matrix
• Coordinating with electrical engineers by providing relevant inputs for the Building Management
System.
• Monitoring overall work progress and planning the works to meet the Main Contractors Program.
• Liaising with Client, Consultant, Main Contractor and Local Authorities for approval of drawings
and getting Service Connections.
• Sending notifications / letters to main contractor or client on any unnoticed / unattended issues.
• Attending meeting with Client, Consultant and Main contractor, Suppliers in order to resolve
technical issues associated with site work.
• Ensuring the smooth commissioning of erected HVAC systems.
• Carrying out chilled water flushing according to the standards
• Managing Commissioning sub-contractors to ensure proper balancing and commissioning of air
side and water side equipments.
• Coordinating with commissioning sub contractors and submitting the commissioning reports to
the consultants and main contractors
• Assisting CADD team to prepare As Built Drawings.
• Preparing the Operations and Maintenance Manuals.
• Co-ordinating for arranging training to the client for all HVAC equipments with respective
suppliers.

with BK Gulf & EFECO. MTB is one of the most prestigious project and one among the biggest airports in

2. ADNOC Carpark Abu Dhabi ( LEED Certified Project )

This is a carpark project for the new ADNOC Headquarters. The project comprises of 3 basements with
an auto walk concourse area in Basement 1. There are 8 Carpark exhaust fan systems, 8 Staircase
pressurization systems, 7 Air Handling Units,2 Exhaust fans, 1 Chiller, 2 chilled water pumps and 84 Fan
coil units as its major HVAC equipments.

3. New York University Abu Dhabi

This is a complete university project with world class campus, staff and students residential facilities In
HVAC, the scope of BK Gulf is to provide 12000 Tons of cooling through 126 Air handling units and 6300
Fan coil units. Other major equipments include 38 chilled water pumps, 9 heat exchangers, 350 fans etc.
4. St Regis Resort (Saadiyat island, Abu Dhabi)
MEP Project value : AED 550 million
Client : TDIC
Consultant : CKR Consulting Engineers
This is a mixed use project with Hotel, Apartments, Villas, SPA, Banqueting and Amusement facilities. In
HVAC, the scope of BK Gulf is to provide 9000 Tons of cooling through 110 Air handling units and 1800
Fan coil units. Other major equipments include 8 chilled water pumps, 15 heat exchangers, 250 fans and
30 split units.
5. Race track Marina Hotel ( Yas island, Abu Dhabi )
MEP Project Value : AED 350 million
Client : Aldar Properties

4. This is a 5 Star Hotel project with SPA, which is one of the landmark projects in Abu Dhabi. In HVAC, the
scope of BK Gulf is to provide 4000 Tons of cooling through 50 Air Handling Units and 900 Fan Coil
Units. Other major equipments include 3 chilled water pumps, 10 heat exchangers, 90 fans and 15 Split
units.
