Daina Halim and Chris sculpt and create pottery featuring wildlife. They sculpt realistic animals found in their local area as well as exotic species. Daina makes the pottery vessels using a potter's wheel while Chris sculpts the animals. For their Nature series, they attach the sculptures to the damp clay pots, creating functional yet artistic pieces. Their stoneware and porcelain pottery is fired to over 2300 degrees Fahrenheit, making it durable. They sell their original work, with no molds or replicas, at two local galleries and through their website.
