2. A picturesque village lying on the peak of
Hlinsky hill with the elevation of 449 m above
sea level, one of the last offshoots of the
Bohemian-Moravian highland, falling into
Dyje-Svratka Valley with an enchanting view
of the Palava and part of south Moravia.
3. Few people know that one can see the Alps
from Hlina village. This unique possibility
appears only a few times per year. The Alps
can mostly be seen in winter months when
there are rapid changes in temperatures.

historical and tourism-related structures, a
forest theatre and a lookout tower.
