2. Introduction:
NCPL manufactures high quality two-piece hard
gelatin capsules for pharmaceutical and dietary
supplements markets. It’s main focus is on
continual process improvement and product
innovation is backed by state-of-the-art
infrastructure and a team of highly skilled and
knowledgeable scientists, pharmacists and
researchers.
National capsule Pvt. Ltd plant and location:
The plant is setup at District Vidisha, near Bhopal
in Madhya Pradesh. The location of plant is taken
into consideration of the availability of land, raw
material, manpower, electricity, market and
transportation facilities generally makes the
selection of the site. The unit is based on the
demand based industry. The demand of Empty
capsules is growing day by day, and the demand is
all over India.

4. RAW MATERIAL
About gelatin:
Gelatin is a protein made from animal products

Colour + preservatives 13%
Bovine hands 22%
Bone 20%
Pig skin 44%
Other chemicals 1%
GELATIN PROCESS (one batch)
330 liters of R.O. water is feed into the Melter
mixer. Dry gelatin 150 kg is added. Under low
temperature and other raw materials are added.

The mixer is let to turn the material for 30
minutes. 1 hour for further stirring.

5. 15 minutes for mixture stirring with vacuum
(to remove air bubbles which get formed
when).
Capsule manufacturing unit
The mixture is ready to mold into the capsules
100 liters of tanks are filled with mixtures. That is
produced from the gelatin melting mixer

6. for manufacturing 2 units of automatic machines
are setup together. Both the machines produces
48-50 lakhs of capsules per day.
Sorting section
The sorting is done by manually by experienced
workers who sort the capsules on 3 basic
differences:

7. 1)Minor holes.
2)Major holes.
3)Size differences .
The lot is fed into the machines and due to
vibration the machine slowly and steadily lets the
capsules to pass and the manually worker sorts it
out.

8. Packing section:
The packing is done in polythene bag. Covered by
a Thermocole. Further it’s air tight sealed. Left of
the sorted waste is taken into the recycle. Its
mixed in the gelatin mixing unit and there remains
no waste.
Further it’s transported to the vendor for
transportation to reach its real owner.
