2. Publish a Project
⇢ How to write a Great Project.
- Include the following points to make your project look better.
• What does the project do/ what is the project idea / purpose of project.
• How did the idea striked or emerged, the eureka moment.
• How does it work, provide technical details, material used and working of
project.
• How did you developed and what problems you faced.
• What's the impact of project (if any).
• Better to share the vlog of development steps. If students haven't created a
vlog, they can simply include a small video showing the working of project, or
one explaining the functioning of project.
3. Publish a Project
⇢ You can publish a project on Makershala.com in a very simple way:
- 1. On the makershala.com page header click on the "Publish" button.

⇢ 2. On the "Publish a new Project" page start with entering the basic
details about your project.
Project Title: Enter the name of your project in not more than 128
characters. The name should be self-explanatory.
Introductory Text: In the Introductory text provide a brief description of
your project in not more than 150 Characters.
Cover Image: Upload a pic to showing your final project. Use images in
.jpg format with file-size not more than 1 MB. Images can be in dimension
Portrait, Landscape or even square style.

projects page and project listings.
5. Publish a Project
⇢ You can enter your project body with the help of HTML editor. Apart
from the basic text editing features, some other useful features are
explained with help of videos.

⇢ Linking a youtube video: If you have an existing video on youtube,
you can embed/link it in your project on makershala.
8. Publish a Project
⇢ Tags
• You can add the tags by typing a tag name and pressing the enter key, or
by selecting a suggested tag while typing. You can simply click an added
tab to delete it.
⇢ Status
• Save as Draft - Select this to save changes before completing the project.
•Publish - Select when project is complete and ready to be published.
•Contest Submission - Select this to mark and list this project for Contest
Submission. To be only used for contests.
