Class 1 Handout: Creating a New Project in Aptana
Create a new project in Aptana
● On a Mac or PC: File -> New -> Web Project
● Enter a name for your project and click “Next”. (We do not want to click Finish yet.)

2. ● After you click “Next”, you will need to check the box that says “Create the project using
one of the templates”, and highlight “Basic Web Template”.
● Then we can click “Finish”. This creates a project template with a single HTML page
called index.html.
