The eleven times
table has always
been very easy to
learn up to 9 x 11

Here's a simple way
of multiplying large
numbers by 11 too.

Example 1
425 x 11=?

Step 1
Separate the First
and Last digits in
your mind like this
(4_ _5).
Note: For three digit there will be two digit in between first and last
Digit.

Step 2
Add 1st and 2nd Digit
and add 2nd and 3rd digit
4 2 5
So, 4+2=6 And 2 + 5=7

Step 3
Put that 6 and 7 in that
Blank Place
(4 6 7 5)
So, 425 x 11=4675

That's it!

The only thing tricky
to remember is that if
the result of the
addition is greater
than 9,

you only put the "ones"
digit in the hole and
carry the "tens" digit
from the addition.

Example 2
678 x 11=?

Step 1
Separate the First
and Last digits in
your mind like this
(6_ _8).
Note: For three digit there will be two digit in between first and last

Step 2
Add 1st and 2nd Digit

So, 6+7=13 And 7+8=15

Step 3
Now we can’t write 13 and 15 in that
Blank space.
So, First Put 5 and Carry 1
and Put 3 and carry 1
