1. The use of Whatsapp
To start explaining this research is important to state “why Whatsapp?”. Well, because of its
collaborative features:
Whatsapp is used to exchange messages, videos, images and voice notes.
People can create “groups” on Whatsapp.
People can send messages without limit through Whatsapp.
Whatsapp can work in a very broad variety of mobile devices.
In additions,usingWhatsapphasdifferenteducationalbenefits,forinstance,itpromotesstudents’
motivation an engagement and also, online discussion.
The study was based on three hypotheses:
1. There is no difference in the arithmetical means of the experimental group using mobile
learning and the control groups using face-to-face learning in the achievement tests of
online female students following the experimental period.
False: There is a difference in favor of the experimental group.
(Control group: 3.80 / Experimental group: 4.80)
2. There isnodifferenceinthe arithmeticalmeansof the experimentalandcontrol groups(at
the 0.05 alpha level) in their respective attitudes toward Whatsapp mobile learning and
face-to-face learning in the classroom
False: There is a difference in favor of the experimental group.
3. The independentvariable,"Whatsappmobilesociallearning"hasnopositive impactonthe
dependent variables, "achievement" and "attitudes of female students "
False: "WhatsApp mobile social learning "has a very high positive impact on the
dependent variables.
To sumup,usingWhatsapphasahighpositiveimpactonthe achievementof students.Also,
it makes learning easier and promotes collaborative learning.
