3. HISTORY
 Principle of genetics were developed in the mid 19th
century by Gregor Mendel an Austrian Monk.
 Born in 1822 near brunn in Austria in a poor family.
 Gregor Mendal is the father of modern genetics.

4.  Most famous for his work with pea plants.
 Gregor experimented with pea plants by crossing
various strains and observing the characteristics of their
offspring.

5.  Gregor Mendal- Studied inheritance of seven traits
in pea plants and first used the term dominance and
recessiveness.

6. Law of Segregation
According to this law, in hybrid of F1 both contrasting
characters remain in pair. These characters are separated in
F2. So, this law is called law of segregation.
 During the formation of gametes (eggs or sperm) the
two alleles responsible for a trait separate from each other.
 Law of segregation the sparation of alleles into separate
gametes.
