Let see rules of writing a Set
(i) Generally the name of set is given using capital letters
A, B, C, … , Z.
(ii) Elements of sets are always enclose within the braces
{ … }
(iii) Elements of set are shown by using small letters.
a, b, c, …. z.
If a is element of set N, we say that , “a belongs to N”
The Greek symbol ∈ (epsilon) is used to denote the phrase
“belongs to”
(iv) Elements in the set generally not repeated.

In above example, A is name of Set.
Elements of sets are written in curly brackets { … }
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 are elements of set A , Thus we write
1 ∈ A 2 ∈ A 6 ∈ A 10 ∈ A
11 is not elements of set A, we write as
11 ∈ A Also 25 ∈ A
4. 9 does not belongs to D i.e. 9 ∈ D
19 does not belongs to D i.e. 19 ∈ D

In above example, D is set of some numbers.
