2. Learning Objectives
• To learn how to apply the theory of Typographics to text.
Learning Outcomes
• Using the theory of typographics;
• All students will create text using font and colours to add meaning and
describe what they have done.
• Most students will create effective text and be able to explain the design
choices they have made.
• Some students will create highly effective text , evaluate the design choices
they have made and justifiy their decisions using relevant technical
terminology.
3. • It’s sad when someone you know becomes someone you knew. Henry
Rollins
I changed sad into this font because it is a
relaxed font. This shows a sad person wouldn't
put much effort into anything
The font goes from big to small
because the person you know is slowly
becoming a person you don't know
anymore and distant.
4. Life isn’t about w a i t i n g for the storm to pass, it’s about
learning
to dancein the rain.
I made this word storm in italics
and in a compressed font
because storms are strong and
the font is strong and sharp like
lightning. The word dance is in bold
because stereotypically
people who go to clubs are
very vocal and bold.
The word waiting has a very loose
kerning to drag out the word to
show how inpatient the word is.
I used a formal
font to
represent
education.
5. , accept sadness. Realize that without losing, winning isn’t so great.
