POSTER AND A FILM MAGAZINE COVER. A PROMOTIONAL
PACKAGE SUCH AS THIS HAS VITAL REQUIREMENTS, MOST
IMPORTANTLY TO CREATE A FILM BRAND THAT SUCCESSFULLY
SELLS A FILM TO ITS TARGET AUDIENCE.

OF THE BRAND,

5. • MY THREE PRODUCTS FOR MY FILM ALL EFFECTIVELY WORK AS A
COMBINATION DUE TO THE CAREFUL CHOICE OF BRANDING AND
COLOUR THAT I USED WHILST FILMING THE TRAILER AS WELL AS
DESIGNING THE POSTER AND MAGAZINE COVER.
• THE CONTRAST BETWEEN BLACK AND WHITE PLAYS A HEAVY
FEATURE IN ALL THREE OF MY PRODUCTS, WITH WHITE TEXT ON A
DARK BACKGROUND FEATURES IN THE INTERTITLES OF MY
TRAILER AND THE TITLE OF MY FILM IN BOTH THE FILM POSTER
AND THE MAGAZINE COVER.
6. • MY THREE PRODUCTS BEAR A CLOSE TO
RESEMBLANCE TO EACH OTHER AS THE
PROTAGONIST TO OUR FILM IS THE
PROMINENT CHARACTER IN THE TRAILER,
POSTER AND MAGAZINE COVER. HE ALSO
WEARS THE SAME COSTUME AND CARRIES A
KEY PROP (HIS GUN) IN ALL THREE OF THE
PRODUCTS TO FURTHER RELATE THEM TO
EACH OTHER.
7. • SEEING AS MY FILM IS A THRILLER, I USED DARK COLOURS IN
DESIGNING BOTH THE LOOK OF THE TRAILER AND THE POSTER
AND MAGAZINE COVER,
• THE CENTRAL FIRE FEATURE FOR THE FILM POSTER IS A SIGNAL
OF THE TENSION OF THE GENRE. THIS WAS FURTHER
REPRESENTED BY MY CHOICE OF FONT FOR THE FILM TITLE
WHICH I USED FOR ALL THREE PRODUCTS, AS THE WARPED TEXT
GIVES AN UNEASY AND ALMOST GOTHIC FEEL TO THE FILM.
