1. Unit 15 – Print Based Advertising
Project title: Klashed Festival
Project:
Project Description: The project is to create a poster for a festival created by
me.
Photographer:
I’m going to take the picture myself.
I will need to take a vertical image because the poster will be vertical and I do
not want the image to be stretched or distorted, as this will decrease the quality
of the poster.
The picture will be darkened in post-production on Photoshop at the base of the
image so that the field is fading out from top to bottom.
Reference images and ideas:
This is an image of
inspiration because I want
to have an open image
like this one where you
can see the grass and sky
dividing the picture
equally.
This is an image of
inspiration because I want
to have the sun in the
image shining light on the
rest of the image. This
increases the details to the
image which I will need as
the picture is going to be
the poster’s background.

2. Unit 15 – Print Based Advertising
This is an image of
inspiration because
the clouds are very
visible and detailed
which is something
I would like to
include in my image
that I need for the
poster background.
Where:
The photo-shoot will take place at Epsom Downs because it is an open field and I
can take the landscape photo that I need for this image.
When:
The photo will need to be taken around 17:00 when it is sunny. This is because it
need the sun in the photo and I need the landscape image to be bright and not
dark and dull with rain.
