I like this photograph
because it has intricate
detail within the shadow. It
shows form as this picture
is the shadow cast from a
bridge showing its three
dimensional nature.

I like this photograph
because it shows depth as
the poles go further back
and although the depth is
the main focus of the
picture the sunset makes
the picture very attractive.

This photograph shows
lines in the cobweb. A lot of
other of Mcney’s work also
shows lines as well as tone
colour and reflection. I like
this photographer as he
has an interesting way of
taking the photographs
and a lot seem to include
crows and other natural
things.

This photograph shows the
movement of the bullet
through the stationary
object and although the
bullet and apple are in
focus the insides of the
apple are blurred showing
the movement. I like this
photo because it shows
the contrast between the
stationary object and the
moving object.
6. Ben Mcloed
This photograph shows the
movement of the car. I like
this photographer as all of
his pictures seem to
incorporate at least one of
the formal elements.

7. Vivian Maier

This photographer uses
quite dull bland colours
which emphasize the use
of one bright colour. The
people in this picture are
all wearing yellow which
can be clearly seen in front
of the dark car and
buildings. I like this
photographer because of
the use of bland colour’s
backing the bright colour’s.
8. Ben Moore
I found this photographer
on google.

I like this Photographer
because of the use of
bright colour’s in this
photograph. This is
different to his other
photos as they seem to
show more tone and are of
people.
9. Daniel Kukla
I found this photographer on the
daily mail website.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/
article-2213809/Daniel-KuklaPhotographer-capturesstunning-mirrored-reflectionsAmerican-valley-look-likepaintings.html
I really like this photographer
because he uses a very
unique way to capture the
whole of a place. The
reflection and the
background sometimes
matches the image shown in
the mirror but sometimes is
different showing the variety
of landscape in the area. All
of his photos are like this but
in all different locations
creating a very individual
portfolio.
10. Adrienne Adam
This photo shows pattern
as do a lot of this
photographers photos. All
of this photographers
photos are patterns made
with natural objects.

I like this photograph as it
is different to other bark
pictures as the texture is
clearly more rough than on
other pictures. I think the
lighting is very good for
showing the texture.
12. Bruce Montagne
This photograph shows a
very different texture to
other texture photography. It
is not clear what the photo is
of so this emphasizes the
texture in the picture.

This photographer has
uses an interesting angle
in this photo. The photo
shows the different light
and dark tones and
shapes. The smooth
texture of the car and
rougher texture of the
wheel show up well in the
photo.

A lot of this photographers
work shows the formal
elements for example this
picture shows depth and
tone very well. I like this
photographer as they have
put a bike in the bottom left
corner which makes the
picture differ from the
usual depth photos.
15. Joy Rector

This photographers work
focuses on lines, shape
and pattern especially in
this photograph. I like this
photo because it gives a
sense of endlessness to
the tunnel. This
photographers style is very
different to others that I
have seen.
16. Cathal Mcnaughton

This picture uses the bright
blue sky in order to
contrast the bright colour’s
of the icecream van and
pram. The Icecream van is
almost center of the picture
making it the viewing point
but the photographer
makes it different to other
pictures.
17. Ron Bigelow
I found this photographer at
http://www.ronbigelow.com/ar
ticles/texturephotography/texturephotography.html
This photograph shows the
rough texture of the bark
and also shows the bright
colour of the fungus on the
bark. I like the way that the
photographer has only
taken the picture of the
texture and it is not clear
what the rest of the photo
is.
18. Pete Turner
I found this photographer
on google at
http://www.peteturner.com/
This photograph shows
movement from the
blurring. The photo is
taken at night so the
blurred lights on the black
background create a really
effective photograph.

This photo shows the
texture of the rock and the
seaweed on the rock. This
photograph is interesting
because of all of the
interesting and unusual
shapes of the rocks and
the dark sky.
