2. Jenna Reich
I like this photographer because she takes
pictures of people from all different generations.
They are more modern pictures and the style is
just taking pictures of real life. Her shots aren’t
always staged she takes pictures of people
while they are at home. One of the main things
she photographs is families, children, birth and
peoples lives. I like the style she uses because
she takes pictures of people and follows them
as they grow up. This style will defiantly be used
in my photography project but I want to use
different people to show how someone has
aged and then re create that. I would like to
show a picture of a main point or event in
someone's life or a talent. Jenna does this she
took some pictures of a ballerina. I want to use
this in my work, taking pictures of someone that
shows what they like and their personality. I love
the style of the next photos of hers I’ve shown
because it’s a family when their’ all grown up
looking back at old pictures all together. I love
these pictures and they defiantly inspired my
work. I think Jenna gave me the main idea for
my project.
3. I like the looking back and remembrance in the photos of the family. It made me think about
showing the past and the present in a different way, the past re created using the present.
4. Irina Werning
I love this style of photography she loves looking at peoples old
photos and finding funny ones and then re creating the picture
exactly the same. Trying to get the same location, angle, outfit,
make up and colour of the picture. This project of hers is called
back to the future which includes lots of different people families and
old pictures usually from a long time ago re-enacted by the same
people in them. She spends lots of time researching props and
locations for each shot. This photographer has defiantly influence
just because of how perfect each shot compares to the re created
one. I love how much time she has spent making them look the
same. She stages all of her photos so they reflect the original. The
style of using reflection is what I want to use as well. I want to show
an original picture and them next to or underneath the new one like
she does. She makes sure the pose in the original is the same in
the new one and it works really well. When I create my project I am
going to have to edit a the new pictures I take so I can get them
closer to the old picture with the look and style of the picture. She
uses a lot of effects on the new pictures to get them looking as close
to the same as she can. I like how much effort she has put into this
project and done it properly.
5. I like how her pictures have a comical style to
them you can see the kind of pictures she takes
and wants to re create. They all look fun, crazy
and challenging to re take. She takes her
pictures from older times she likes the new
picture to show the difference in the person
because its been a long time.

He is a cam-ra-ist that uses old original photos of iconic
places and holds them up in a new picture of the same
present place. It’s to show how a building or place has
changed over the years. I think this type of photography is
very interesting and looks really good. It’s a good thing to do
because some old building’s have been knocked down so I
like how he found so many that are still there. The style is like
what I want to use, having an old picture but I am going to
create a new picture separately. He was inspired by Michael
Hughes souvenir project which was similar to this but his
photos are of more iconic things like for example London red
phone boxes, he sells his photos.

He is a past and present portrait photographer. He uses the
style I want to use but he only does these certain type of
pictures. He asks people to find old portrait pictures of them
self and then he re creates them using the same person.
He doesn’t try and recreate the whole picture using props
and costume always, he usually just wants to capture the
person many years later in the same angle or pose. I think
this style is interesting and looks really good and a lot of
people would be interested in this and even doing this. Also
he likes to use very old black and white pictures so he can
then add this effect to his new ones. I might use black and
white if one of the pictures I re create is.
