Position reports directly to IT&S Director of Operations. Responsibilities include project
management, procurement, implementation and Level 3 support of enterprise Picture Archive and
Communication Systems and Enterprise Interfaces for 22 outpatient imaging centers and 7 hospitals.
Position analyzes all Modalities and SCU/SCP actors for DICOM compliance and conformance to
standards and performs correction measures as required. Responsible for informatics systems
integration and operations in compliance with current IHE technical frameworks and ANSI
standards to enable organization to meet requirements of HITECH Act and other initiatives.
Research, procure, program and implement enterprise HL7 interfaces to integrate RIS, PACS, HIS,
LAB, SQL and other third party systems to include MEDITECH, GE, VELOS, CEDARON, HPF
and multiple EMR/EHR vendors. Routinely perform HL7 interface development to include segment,
Group, component and field mappings per required schemas and connection configurations using
required development products to meet division operational needs. Project management for
associated imaging initiatives to include data and product research, cost analysis, workload
requirements and product evaluations to meet enterprise demands. Acts as Subject matter expert for

to include enterprise servers and associated Network Archive Storage systems to assure optimal
performance. Conducted all contract negotiations for all imaging initiatives. Managed all support
staff and associated teams for PACS, RIS and Helpdesk departments. Researched, procured,
implemented and programmed enterprise HL7 interface connections to integrate RIS, PACS, billing,
Mammography, associated HIS systems and third party EMR/EHR systems. Responsible for HL7
interface development to include segment, Group, component and field mappings and connection
