1. ANTONIO BERNI

2. He was born in Rosario on 13th
October of 1905

3. In 1920 he exhibited his paintings for
the first time in the Mari salon

4. In 1825 he won a scholarship and
traveled to Europe to study painting .In
Europe he learned a surrealist style
and collage.

5. In 1930 he returned to
Rosario because of the situation of
Argentina and he began to show the
social problems of the decade

6. In 1981 he died in Buenos Aires.

7. • Antonio Berni is very important for us because
we admire him. He is one of the most
important Argentinian painters and he
returned to this country when there was
a difficult grueling situation to change
people´s minds with his painting.
