for sewerage systems in small arid communities. Journal of
Advanced Researched Cairo University.
 Prediction of wastewater flow rates and its variation are both important at
the stage of designing wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) and during
their operation. Small capacity WWTPs are seriously affected by flow rate
variation.

 Estimated population is about 6000 capita and gross area of the
community is 190 acres .
 Sewage flows pumped to the treatment plant were measured by the
station flow confirmed by a portable ultrasonic flow meter that was
mounted on the discharge pipe
 Two peaking factors will be used to capture both variations: Phr-t-avghr
to account for hourly variation within a given day and Pi-avg d to account
for the variation in the daily flow within the year .

 Each wastewater component of the wastewater sewerage system should be designed
with its own flow factor based on its acceptable limits of behavior
 small communities, the sizing and operation of the pumpingstation accentuate the sewer
hydraulic and results in a pulselike pumped flow hydrograph that should be the basis for
the design of the treatment plant.

 The primary treatment of domestic and municipal sewage an-aerobic ponds are suitable.
 The secondary & tertiary municipal sewage treatment constructed wet land because wet
lands are eco-friendly.
 When the same bio-chemical & physical process occur in a more natural environment instead
of reactor tanks & basins, the result system often consumes less energy is more reliable
require less operation & maintenance & as a result costs less

Literature Review
 The design of wastewater treatment plants is usually based on the need to reduce biochemical
oxygen demand (BOD).
 The most widely used parameter of organic pollution applied to both wastewater and surface
water is the 5-day BOD (BOD5).
 Many investigators have worked on developing and refining methods and formulas for the
deoxygenation (k1), reaeration (k2) parameters and the ultimate BOD (L).
 There are several ways of determining k1 and ultimate BOD.
 In this paper, the different mathematical methods in order to determine the BOD parameters
(uBOD, k) and two different BOD test method (respirometer and dilution method) are
investigated comparatively.
 Developed for designing WWTPs by the mean of C++ programming language.

 The changing of these parameters impact a lot of situation such as ultimate BOD estimation, the
wastewater treatment plants design, the dimensions of the plants and cost of the plants. In view
of this study, estimation of the BOD parameters (uBOD, k) are essential to provide more
consistent and accurate estimations in regard to wastewater research and wastewater
treatment plants design.

 This proposal mainly based on the emergency / disaster situations in military
establishments.
 Also usable for the current situation of the world COVID19 out break.

Literature Review  The design of wastewater treatment plants is usually based on the need to reduce biochemical oxygen demand (BOD).  The most widely used parameter of organic pollution applied to both wastewater and surface water is the 5-day BOD (BOD5).  Many investigators have worked on developing and refining methods and formulas for the deoxygenation (k1), reaeration (k2) parameters and the ultimate BOD (L).  There are several ways of determining k1 and ultimate BOD.  In this paper, the different mathematical methods in order to determine the BOD parameters (uBOD, k) and two different BOD test method (respirometer and dilution method) are investigated comparatively.  Developed for designing WWTPs by the mean of C++ programming language. 23

Literature Review  The changing of these parameters impact a lot of situation such as ultimate BOD estimation, the wastewater treatment plants design, the dimensions of the plants and cost of the plants. In view of this study, estimation of the BOD parameters (uBOD, k) are essential to provide more consistent and accurate estimations in regard to wastewater research and wastewater treatment plants design. 24
