witch
â She returned to Lancaster Castle again when
she was 31 years old.

â She is tall, long and dirty brown hair.
â Her personality is crazy, nasty and

witchcraft.

â He along with Alizon denounced his
mother as a witch

their neighbors and begged.
â She was hung with 19 others accused at
Lancaster Castle

â She was nearly eighty years old
â She was a difficult old woman

â Roger Nowell was a rich and
important man in Lancashire

white hair, his brown eyes were
warm, and his face was kind
â Nowell investigated a complaint
made to him by the family of John

began to hit Jennet because the
drink was gone.
âą Jennet decided to tell Mr. Nowell
about her mother and her
motherâs friend.
âą Then they arrived at Read Hall.
âą Jennet told Mr. Nowell about her
motherâs plan.

âą James admitted that heâs a
witch.
âą Jennetâs mother said she
made a clay picture and
broke it to kill people. Then
she explained why she hated
Jennet.

âą On 27th April, the guard took Jennetâs
mother and James to Lancaster Castle.
âą Jennetâs life at Read Hall began.
âą The trial of the witches of pendle began at
Lancaster Castle on 18th August.
âą Jennet told the truth about her mother, Ball
â her motherâs dog, James, Dandy. They
were all a witch.
âą Alizon admitted her guilty.

âą The trial was finished, Jennet lost her
family.
âą Jennet was happy for years at Read
Hall.
âą In August 1612, the guards hanged
her family in front of Lancaster
Castle.
âą 1633, the guards put Jennet in the
prison because Mr. Nowell died, the
lie began, and because her name is
Device.
