Responsibilities
• Designing
• Designing of All Mechanical including Heat load calculation (manual/HAP/thumb
rule) Ducting, CHW Piping, Refrigerant Piping, Plumbing and Sewage System based
on international & national standards (ASHRAE, AADC, DEWA, ADDC, Estidama).
Heat load calculation: Manual and HAP4.9 (Hourly analysis program) and
considering parameters from Carrier book, ASHRAE 62.1, ASHRAE 90.1, and
ASHRAE application hand book any change in design considerations.
Review building plans, BOQ, drawings, specifications & ascertaining scope of works
• Co-ordinate with Architect/Consultant for all Project Stages including Concept
design, Preliminary design, detailed design, tender, construction and approval.
• Comply with full specifications and mechanical calculations in support of system
design for relevant authorities’ approval.
• Follows- Up with the updated requirement from Architect/Client/consultant for
implementation.
• Allocate CAD Design to Draftsmen.
• Participates in Project Meetings with Architect/Consultant.
• Conducting site visits and assessment, as required to execute design work and
ensure other MEP coordination.
