Trainer and Technical Assistant Family Resource Specialist National Federation of Families for
Children’s Mental Health & Georgetown University Child Human Development Center
(2011–Present)
TA Family Resource Specialist for the Georgetown University National Technical Assistance Center for
Children’s Mental Health assisting jurisdictions on ways to effectively recruit, develop and sustain a
broad array of family involvement activities to improve outcomes for families who have children with
serious behavioral challenges. As a content specialist, provides comprehensive information, teaching,
and TA to grantee sites in the area of family-driven practices. Provides guidance to GUCCHD staff
receives and responds to requests for TA from states, territories, tribes, and local communities that
receive funding from SAMSHA either through the SOC Expansion and or Planning Grants.
Family Lead of Cuyahoga Tapestry System of Care (2005–2011)
Under direction of the Project Director was responsible for the day-to-day coordination and management
of activities for eighteen peer support providers working in neighborhoods throughout Cuyahoga
County. Managed a 500 thousand dollar annual budget for family activities and managed the preparation
of deliverables for fourteen community-based contracts. Provided training for new hires in Hi-Fidelity
Wraparound and Peer-to-Peer Support. Assist peer support workers planning, coordinating and
executing family events throughout Cuyahoga County. Coordinated community reporting requirements
related to SOC grantee requirements.
