Was nominated by my Boy Scout troop to participate in a leadership conference. At the
conference, scouts learned about different leadership and management skills and techniques
to further develop scouting skills.

Spring 2016
Squad Leader: NROTC Alpha Company (Spring 2016)
o In-charge of seven midshipmen of Alpha Company, Second
Squad.
o Insures that all information regarding Unit functions are
passed down to the squad.
o Reviews all paperwork and special request chits filled by the
squad members.
Mariner Liaison: NROTC & Mariner Axillary Unit (Spring 2016)
o Created a new billet in the NROTC Chain of Command titled
the Mariner Liaison.
o Works with the Mariner Axillary Unit, a separate university
organization supporting the NROTC midshipmen.
o Insures all communication between the two organizations
are smooth and up-to-date
o Assists the Mariners in planning morale-boosting functions
for midshipmen.
Assistant Officer In Charge: NJROTCVisits (February 2016)
o Assisted in the planning and preparation for two separate
visits from high school NJROTC programs to the Auburn
NROTC Unit.
o Created and presented Power Point presentations regarding
NROTC expectations, standards, and duties.
o Participated in a Q&A with high school students.

o Continued overseeing 12 midshipmen and training them on
drill maneuvers in accordance with the Marine Corps

Fall 2015
Executive Officer: NROTC Bravo Company (Fall 2015)
o Second in charge of Bravo Company, one of two companies
in the NROTC. Each company consists on roughly 50
midshipmen.
o Carried out all administrative duties regarding company
matters.
o Carried out uniform inspections of all 50 midshipmen within
the company.
o Tasked volunteers for several unit functions throughout the
semester
o Sat on PRBs (Performance Review Boards), reviewing cases
of midshipmen not upholding to naval standards or
regulations set by the UCMJ.
Drill Team Squad Leader: Auburn NROTC Drill Team(Fall 2015)
o One of three Squad Leaders on the NROTC Drill Team.
o Oversees 12 midshipmen in the instruction and training of
drill maneuvers in accordance with the Marine Corps
Marching Manuel.
o Currently preparing the Drill Team to compete at the Tulane
Drill Meet in February 2016.
Golf Cart Driver: OD1 Visit (October 2015)
o Drove Captain Duncan USN, (a notable naval officer in career
development of young officers), around Auburn University
on the unit’s golf cart. Personally gave him a tour of the
campus, explaining the history and heritage behind Auburn
University.
Spring 2015
Platoon Commander: NROTC Bravo Company (Spring 2015)
o Accountable for 20 midshipmen in one of three companies
that compose the NROTC unit.
o Insure that communication is being passed smoothly and
effectively
Officer in Charge: High School NJROTC visit (February 2015)
o Organize a visit of 20 cadets from a Atlanta high school to visitand tour the
Auburn NROTC unit
o Created a PowerPoint showing the daily life and activities of a NROTC
midshipmen.
o Delegated a staff to create sceneries on the unit's flight and ship simulators
for the cadets to complete
o Provided a Q&A tour of the Nichols Center.

o Created a flyerto advertise the event to all of the midshipmen

o Delegated and oversaw the clean-up crew after the event.

Military Ball Committee Member: NROTC(October 2014)
o Created flyers to advertise the event
o Developed and printed 300 programs for the ball.
o Assisted the OIC in organizing seating arrangements for 300 guests.
o Assisted the OIC in setting up tables, decorations, and other fixtures for the
event.
o Served on the color guard for the opening and closing of the ball ceremony.

Team Commander: NROTCRelay for Life Team (April 2014)
o Organized the NROTCRelay for Life team and worked as a joint team with the
Mariners Auxiliary Unit.
o The team raised over $500 dollars.
Fall 2013
Road Guard: NROTC (August, November, and December 2013)
o Volunteered as a road guard for several Marine PFTs. Stopped traffic while the
Marine Option Midshipmen passed the intersection I was stationed at.
Classroom Leadership (Auburn University)
Navigation (NAVS 2060): Spring 2015
Project Leader: In charge of a group of 4 for the final examination project.
o Guided the team of four in plotting an in-bound and out-bound navigation
course for a surface ship using a chart of San Diego Harbor.
o Taught the team Standard Commands; a series of verbal commands naval
sailors will use on the bridge of a ship.
o Lead the team during the final exam which consisted of the use of the
Mariners Skills Simulator, a program that recreates the bridge of a naval
warship over several computers, and safely navigated the ship out in and out
of the San Diego Harbor.
Theater Class (THEA 1010): Fall 2014
Project Leader: In charge of a group of 14 students for several projects throughout the
semester.
o Project 1 Recruiting Poster: Organized the group into two teams that were to
create two separate poster on the topic "Why Should Someone Want to Come
to Auburn." Lead the Brainstorming sessions, taking notes on what my group
had to say. Categorized notes into two topics that would be the theme of each
poster. Split the group in half based on their knowledge and experiences.

Organized meeting times for the two groups to work on the posters. Received
full credit for the completion of the project.
o Project 2 Commercial Skit: Organized a time for the group to meet at Wal-
Mart to film a commercial skit. Worked with the group to memorize lines for
the skit. Delegated the role of editing the film to two of my group mates. On
the day of presentation, lead the discussion to the rest of the class on why we
chose our commercial. Received full credit for the completion of the project.
o Project 3 Play Skit: Organized for our group to meet on campus to film a 5-10
minute skit of Shakespeare's Julius Ceaser. Delegated cast roles to different
members of the group. Delegated the role of editing the film to a member of
the group.
Intro to German I (FLGR 1010): Fall 2014
Food Server:
o Assisted the German Club in serving food to over 200 people at the "80 Bites
Around the World" event at the Student Center.

SERVICE TRIDENT HONOR SOCIETY (AUBURN UNIVERSITY)
Fall 2014-Current
Currently a member of the Trident Honor Society. Trident is a SGA organization that is ran
mostly by Navy midshipmen. Trident currently supports the Auburn Gymnastics Team by
setting up and tearing down all of the equipment used for each meet including the vault,
un-even bars and the beam.
BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA
December 2005-Current
Currently an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 351 in Madison, AL
Have earned several hundred hours of community service and have helped on numerous
Eagle projects.
Have also served as a merit badge counselor for the Railroading Merit Badge, allowing for
15 scouts to complete all of the requirements for the badge.
Also served as a Troop Guide for the National Youth Leadership Training program (NYLT),
teaching Scouts leadership and management skills to be used to develop their scouting
skills.
My Eagle Project was to construct several shelving units for our local church's non-profit
thrift store. I organized all construction dates and developed the blue prints for the
shelving units. The thrift store has benefited greatly from the shelves and has helped
removed clutter from the store's floors.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL COUNCLER
Summer 2011
Served as a teacher and counselor for my church's Vacation Bible School. Performed skits to
several classes about stores in the Bible and taught young children about major characters and
stories in the Bible.
WORK EXPERIENCE LIFEGUARD (POINT MALLARD WATERPARK): DECATUR, AL
Summer 2015
Employed by Point Mallard Waterpark to serve as a lifeguard for the 2015 Summer season.
Oversaw up to 6,000 patrons daily throughout the waterpark. Recorded three rescues during
the season.
CLASS CHECKER (AUBURN UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT)
Fall 2014-Current
Employed by the Auburn University Athletics Department as a class checker. I travel to
different class throughout the day and sign in university athletics to their classes and report
those who fail to sign in.

Formally employed by ESI as a grounds keeper. Worked to maintain the property by raking
leaves, tripping and edging the roadway, pulling weeds and tending to the gardens. Was paid
$12 an hour.
OTHER BADMINTON CLUB
Fall 2013-Current
Currently a member of the Auburn University Badminton Club. Meet every Sunday and several
times a week to practice and compete in the sport of badminton.
