The Tennessee Bankers Association recently announced that 31 bankers graduated from the 2011 session of The Southeastern School of Consumer Credit. The intensive one-week program was held at Vanderbilt University and exposes consumer credit managers to major issues in their field. Wes Burnett of American Bank & Trust of the Cumberlands received top honors, while seven other graduates were also recognized for high performance. The Southeastern School of Consumer Credit has trained over 1,600 bankers since 1987 to increase their knowledge of consumer lending.
