• Food mixes with saliva.

3. • The food goes down
through the
esophagus.

4. In the stomach, the
food is mixed with
gastric acids and
other digestive juices
to break down
proteins.

5. Here it is further mixed with:
-Bile
-Pancreatic juice
-Intestinal juice

6. The food enters in the
large intestine
which breaks down
some of the substances
that remain after
processing in the small
intestine.
