Administrative Fees
“Access to Discounted Rates”
When a product name includes "Access
to Discounted Rates," the offer consists
of specially discounted rates for products
or services. This means that after you
place your request and pay any
administrative fees to TechSoup, you'll
also pay the donor partner directly for the
product or service. You can find the
specific discounted rates in each product
description. These rates are available only
to eligible nonprofits and libraries through
TechSoup.

Why Does TechSoup Charge Administrative Fees?
TechSoup is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to build a dynamic bridge that enables civil society
organizations and social change agents around the world to gain effective access to the resources they need to
design and implement technology solutions for a more equitable planet.
As a nonprofit organization ourselves, administrative fees contribute to the overall cost of TechSoup’s operations and
provide the necessary support for TechSoup to continue to offer donated and discounted technology products to
nonprofits and libraries around the world. Administrative fees also contribute to TechSoup’s efforts to bring education
to the nonprofit sector, in the form of articles, blogs, webinars, and courses. Many of these educational resources
available on TechSoup.org are free of charge thanks to our administrative fees. Additionally, TechSoup is continuously
investing in how we support the nonprofit sector. We do this by improving infrastructure and support, building new
services, and launching new programs to empower nonprofits.
So, in review, TechSoup’s administrative fees are based on many factors, including:
● Developing and maintaining programs
● Qualifying and confirming eligibility
● Processing and fulfilling requests
At TechSoup we strive to ensure costs for the nonprofit organizations we serve are kept at the lowest possible
amount. As a fellow nonprofit organization, we understand costs can be a burden. This is why we try to limit
administrative fee increases and to keep these fees as affordable as possible.

your organization’s email,
which may be different
then your login email
address.

renewal request will
appear in your Request
History in your TechSoup
account, 30 days before
your renewal is due. You
can add payment, edit
payment, or cancel the
renewal in your Request
History during this 30-day
window
TechSoup will send
reminders to your
organization email
address periodically
before your subscription
expires.

Details for Donation Request
Once a request has been placed, you can access
its details in your Request History, in your
TechSoup account.
If the request is still pending fulfillment, you can
cancel your request and no charges will apply.
This information is also emailed to your
organization email address with the subject line
“Confirmation of Request Number #”
The Details page and Confirmation Email contain
your invoice/receipt.

Terms of Use
TechSoup connects special offers from corporate partners with validated recipient organizations and
is, therefore, not a software reseller.
In coordination with our offer providers’ guidelines, most products and services obtained through
TechSoup must only be used by the requesting organization and may not be given or sold to other
organizations or individuals — even as part of a charitable or fiscally sponsored program.
For groups with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations in their legal structure, products and
services are permitted for use only by those directly participating in the 501(c)(3) nonprofit mission
and activities.
Please note: There are a few offers for which this policy does not apply. Please check the offer
details to ensure that you are adhering to the providers’ policies.
Organizations with branches or offices outside of the U.S. may not transfer products or services to a
non-U.S. branch or office for full-time use. Branches or offices outside of the U.S. must request
offers from the TechSoup Global Network partner in that country: http://techsoup.global/.

Refunds & Exchanges
Generally, once a request is fulfilled there are no refunds or exchanges allowed for
offers acquired through TechSoup. Organizations are encouraged to review all of the
information available before requesting an offer.
However, each nonprofit program has its own refunds and exchanges policy. So you
are welcome to contact TechSoup’s Client Services to inquiry about a refund or
exchange if needed. We cannot guarantee we can approve your refund or exchange,
but we are happy to look into the possibility for you.

  • 18. “Access to Discounted Rates” When a product name includes "Access to Discounted Rates," the offer consists of specially discounted rates for products or services. This means that after you place your request and pay any administrative fees to TechSoup, you'll also pay the donor partner directly for the product or service. You can find the specific discounted rates in each product description. These rates are available only to eligible nonprofits and libraries through TechSoup.

TechSoup is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to build a dynamic bridge that enables civil society organizations and social change agents around the world to gain effective access to the resources they need to design and implement technology solutions for a more equitable planet. As a nonprofit organization ourselves, administrative fees contribute to the overall cost of TechSoup’s operations and provide the necessary support for TechSoup to continue to offer donated and discounted technology products to nonprofits and libraries around the world. Administrative fees also contribute to TechSoup’s efforts to bring education to the nonprofit sector, in the form of articles, blogs, webinars, and courses. Many of these educational resources available on TechSoup.org are free of charge thanks to our administrative fees. Additionally, TechSoup is continuously investing in how we support the nonprofit sector. We do this by improving infrastructure and support, building new services, and launching new programs to empower nonprofits. So, in review, TechSoup’s administrative fees are based on many factors, including: ● Developing and maintaining programs ● Qualifying and confirming eligibility ● Processing and fulfilling requests At TechSoup we strive to ensure costs for the nonprofit organizations we serve are kept at the lowest possible amount. As a fellow nonprofit organization, we understand costs can be a burden. This is why we try to limit administrative fee increases and to keep these fees as affordable as possible.

Disregard the “Shipping Speed” & “Shipping Address” if not requesting hardware. The “Email Address” is your organization’s email, which may be different then your login email address.

How to Request an Offer: Checkout - Payment Offers with renewals will have the option to save payment Each year or month a renewal request will appear in your Request History in your TechSoup account, 30 days before your renewal is due. You can add payment, edit payment, or cancel the renewal in your Request History during this 30-day window TechSoup will send reminders to your organization email address periodically before your subscription expires.

  • 29. Details for Donation Request Once a request has been placed, you can access its details in your Request History, in your TechSoup account. If the request is still pending fulfillment, you can cancel your request and no charges will apply. This information is also emailed to your organization email address with the subject line “Confirmation of Request Number #” The Details page and Confirmation Email contain your invoice/receipt.

Terms of Use TechSoup connects special offers from corporate partners with validated recipient organizations and is, therefore, not a software reseller. In coordination with our offer providers’ guidelines, most products and services obtained through TechSoup must only be used by the requesting organization and may not be given or sold to other organizations or individuals — even as part of a charitable or fiscally sponsored program. For groups with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations in their legal structure, products and services are permitted for use only by those directly participating in the 501(c)(3) nonprofit mission and activities. Please note: There are a few offers for which this policy does not apply. Please check the offer details to ensure that you are adhering to the providers’ policies. Organizations with branches or offices outside of the U.S. may not transfer products or services to a non-U.S. branch or office for full-time use. Branches or offices outside of the U.S. must request offers from the TechSoup Global Network partner in that country: http://techsoup.global/.

Organizations are encouraged to review all of the information available before requesting an offer. However, each nonprofit program has its own refunds and exchanges policy. So you are welcome to contact TechSoup’s Client Services to inquiry about a refund or exchange if needed. We cannot guarantee we can approve your refund or exchange, but we are happy to look into the possibility for you.
