A personal branding project for and by Lauren Hunt

1. HI, I’M LAUREN HUNT.

2. BACKGROUND
I was born in San Jose, CA to my loving parents, Ron and Sandi Hunt. My father is
a pastor of The Church of God of San Jose, thereby making me a proud PK
(‘Pastor’s Kid’). I grew up in the church with three older sisters until I was a
teenager. When I was thirteen, our family decided to become foster parents. My
family only grew from there. Many children have come and gone, but I call each
one my little brother and sister and pray for them each day.

3. PASSIONS
My greatest passions are for ministry
and children. I love kids and love to
teach them things, too. I strive to use
whatever gifts the Lord has given me
to further the Gospel. I also have a
passion for Africa and those who live
in poverty (here and afar). My life is
very much influenced by my passions
and my faith. I am very passionate
about what the Bible says and
commands of His followers. I also
love writing and Digital Graphic
Design. Because of this, I took to a
career in the Digital Arts world and
plan to use those skills for the Lord
as well. So in a nutshell… I have a
knack for technology, an eye for
design, a passion for helping others,
and a love of teaching children about
God!

4. WHAT I DO
Because of my love for children and teaching, I serve as a Sunday school
teacher at our Church and a youth pastor to middle schoolers as well. I
also serve in other ways, like singing in the worship band, running sound
and PowerPoint for service, and helping run and volunteer in our
organization, 4others (home of the Church of God). Because of my
passion for Africa, I go on a yearly mission trip to see our sponsored
children at the Spring of Hope CarePoint run by 4others. I’m also a student
at California Baptist University where I study Digital Graphic Design. Lastly,
I’m very involved at home where I help take care of the many foster kids
that come into our home. And as an older sister, I hold that responsibility
very seriously.

5. FAITH &
INSPIRATION
My faith is the foundation of my life and
everything I do. I was raised in a
Christian household and became a
Christian myself very early on in life.
Since then, the Bible is my guide for
living. The Lord has helped me through
many difficult times and has helped me
achieve the impossible on several
occasions. My inspiration comes from
Him and my wonderful family whom I’ve
learned so much from. There is one
person in my family that has had a very
significant influence in my life. When I
was thirteen, our first foster daughter
came into our home. She was a 16
month old baby girl without a proper
family to call her own. Nine years later,
she’s still here and now carries our last
name. She, too, is my inspiration and
I’m so proud of my little sister. Becoming
an older sister was a journey I will never
forget either.

7. GOALS IN LIFE
My main goal in life is to live the way God commands. I
want to use my talents to help others and further the
Gospel. I want to continue in my ministries of serving the
poor and teaching children as long as I live. Another
goal of mine is to have a successful business within the
next five years to call my own.

8. FUTURE PLANS
The first thing I need to do is graduate from CBU. When I do, I will have a
bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. I will then use this knowledge to build up my
own business of which I will be able to develop logos, illustrations, websites, print
materials, and more to clients that hire my services. My business will cater to small
churches, organizations, and missions that cannot otherwise afford professional
services. In this digital age, this matters a lot to many people and with the right
modern designs and materials, they can make a bigger impact in the world. I also
plan to eventually adopt children and animals, have my own place nearby home,
and continue in my ministries. Marriage may come as well if the Lord leads
someone with the same passions my way. Until then, I plan on living my life for the
