2. We where limited to the amount of technology which was available to us through out our
products creation, we where able to have the availability of a camera and the editing
equipment which was available to us as a group and we had to use this as our best
advantage and use professional editing machines which can able to help our group in
presenting a wide range of editing techniques we could incorporate into our music video
and also photo editing.
As we where fortunate to have technology which was available to us as a group we where
able he perform to a high ability and allow us to get different ways of presenting our music
video and ancillary task and how we used different sources to help us through out our work.

3. When editing our music video we decided to use the editing software called adobe
premier, we believed that this editing software was able to give us a range of professional
effects as well as editing equipment that was key when it came down to editing our
music video for the final piece.
The use of different editing techniques where commonly used within the editing
software, like using jump shot of the artist going back and forth from one shot to
another and cutting it allowing the shots to come together.
There is a piece of editing that enquired the use of adding effects into the video, by
doing this we used the video transaction effects and as a shot ended we where able to
place the effect on the end of if making it seem as a character as disappeared from the
shot giving the effect of the character vanishing from thin air, this was able to work
really well and having the effect was able to really get a feel for the characters emotion
when the other character disappeared.
As well as the end shot we showed the clip of the artist and then
using an transaction effect is slowly changes to a waterfall with the
artist overlaying the clip and then from that fading into back

4. When editing the poster which was shown for my ancillary task i used Photoshop, as i believed this
program was able to offer me a rang of different abilities that i could incorporate into my own more. The
camera we used to take the images was able to be placed on a setting that allowed it to take images in back
in white this was used so that it wasn't then edited in to the picture later on it was taken like that.
A range in text sizes and also fonts where used which where able to build up the poster in a way that was
aimed at the audience. Having the text colour white was able to contrast well with the background showing
a mix with the colours the text was able to stand out front this making it bold and appear clearly through
the image, having the text contrast as well with the background image colour was able to make the title of
the poster ‘Liam conlon’ the focus point of the poster making the audience look at the bold writing when
they look at the poster. Having the text in the middle of the image and with the artist pointing forward it
was able to feel like he is pointing towards the name.
The main title ‘Liam conlon’ I used a font size of 121.21 with a style called elephant, i then went on to
writing the reviews which other music magazines have given the song and i have put this size text to a
16.86 with a style called book man old style, as well as with the bottom text there has been shown some
gold stars, i looked the image up of showing five gold stars and i used the magic wand tool allowing me to
remove the white from the image giving me a clear image of the stars.

A key way of presenting my work was with the use of presenting it through using internet
based technology this would be ways that are being offered on the internet as sources for ways
people can show their work other than using normal ways of presenting their work.
I have chosen to go with a number of different ways of presenting my work and i wanted to be
able to show a range in ways that i could show my work, as well as showing the ability i am
capable to show my work rather than on one presentation device.
There are many options when it came to deciding ways of presenting my work but i wanted to
go with ones that i couls use to show it more to a professional standard.

7. As mobile phones are a common use that most people are able to have
within the modern age, phone are able to be used as playing music from
the device and where able to incorporate this into when we where going
through our filming presses, we used the phones as a means of playing
music throughout our recording allowing it for us as a group when it
came down to editing it was able to offer us a way of matching the lyrics
in the song us to what the artist was singing in the video, as the song was
playing the artist was singing along to the music this was able to allow
the mouth to be able to of seen clearly moving as you would do normally
so that if he was not singing it would just look like he is moving his lips
when a full movement needed to be taken place.

8. We had the availability of using a high definition camera
this was able to allow us to be able to get an image quality
that was able to come across looking professional as well
as we where able to use the camera in different ways to
take shots of the artist as well as take images which where
then used for our ancillary task.
The camera where able to use was a Nikon DS 500 which
was able too give us a lens of 18 to 15 mm.
When filming with the camera it allowed us to have the
ability to take shots we wouldn't be normally able to do with
a lower resolution camera, When the camera was in place it
was able to allow us to have a large field depth due to the
lens size this allowed the artist to be in focus while the
background stayed blurred, this allowed more attention
towards the artist rather than the whole shot itself.
We where able to use a tripod with our filming this
allowed us to film steady and accurate shots without
any shakes within the shot, the tripod came with a
level stick allowing us to film from angles but have
the tripod changed around so that it was level and
steady to film with.

9. When researching into our artist we where able to use web base sources that where
able to be used be going through the internet and using sites like YouTube,
Wikipedia, and artists websites where all useful for us as a group and as me
individually to through how artists presented their work and also the use of
Wikipedia was able to allow us to gain background information on the artist as well
as artists within our genre.
We used a range of abilities that where able help us with our research and planning
here is a couple of ways we used them and also the piece we used to find
information:

10. Through out my entire work process within this piece of media i
have been posting information about everything step that i have
taken within creating my music video and ancillary, showing the
planning stages as well as evidence gathered from other artists and
how they have presented there music video to an audience.
The site basically is able to allow you to sign up and once that is
done you are able to choose a layout and create your own website
and base it around what every you chose to, for me it was my
media studies work.
This was a good opportunity to create a website in a
way it was based around my work, it allowed me to get
an understanding of how to build a website. The
website itself wasn't very hard to understand once you
figured out the buttons for the site this then went on
to creating pages with videos as well as animations
within pages.

11. If we did not have this amount of technology available like camera and tripod, we would of
been unable to film our entire music video as well as taking photo s of our work would not of
been able to of been done. Having the use of being able to use a computer which was available
to us as a group when ever we needed it we had the ability to use online features and having the
use of features like this was able to allow us to improve our entire work and present our work
within different formats , this is able to appeal to our audience in different ways giving them the
use of different presenting methods.
If the site like wix where not available towards us to use we would of not of been able to of
posted the posts within that way that we wanted and looked professional. There are other site s
that are available to use where posts are available to be put into them and use as a way of to
present work for example Blogger.
If none of this was available we would not of been able to of shown our work with an online use,
it would have to be the old school pen and pencil which would have to be hand written through
out our work.
