2. Khushwant singh
 Khushwant singh was born on 1915 in
Hadali (which now lies in pakistan).
 He is a historian, a journalist, a
biographer, a short story writer and a
novelist.
 His experience in the 1947 partition of
india inspired him to write his most
popular novel “Train to Pakistan” in 1956.

3. Mother Teresa
 Mother Teresa was born in Yugoslavia in
1910.
 She engaged herself in missionary activity
and eventually started a new order, The
missionaraies of charity.
 She recieved nobel peace prize in 1979 &
coveted Bharatratna in 1980.

4. Mother teresa
 Mother taresa is best known and best
loved citizen of calcutta.
 The day begins at 4:30 am in mothers
house. The nuns came together for a two
hour prayer session and meditation
followed by mass.
 At the age of twelve she decided to
choose a religious life.

5.  After recieving one year training and
learning english ,she came to India in
1929 as a geography teacher in in St.
Mary’s high school and later she became
the principal of the school.
 On 10th of september 1946 when she was
travelling to Darjeeling, she recieved a
special call from jesus christ.

saree,which covers her head upto
eyebrows.
 She has a special interest for dying,the
diseased, the sick and the crippled.
 She has a leadership quality, she recieved
approximately 124 natinal
and international awards.
