 There are more than 89,000 animal, more than1200
species of birds & over 2500 species of fish in India.
 It is home to Bengal tigers, Indian lions, deer,
pythons, wolves, foxes, bears, crocodiles, wild dogs,
monkeys, snakes, antelope species, varieties
of bison and the Asian elephant.
 Peacocks, pheasants, ducks, parakeets, cranes &
pigeons are some of the birds found in India.
 There are thousands of species of reptiles including
many venomous snakes.
