This document describes the Innovation Index, which aims to define and report on innovation in the social sector. It surveys non-profit organizations about their innovation capabilities and practices. The results provide an assessment of the sector's innovation journey and highlight areas for improvement. The 2018 survey is open to anyone working in the non-profit sector from February 19th to March 23rd. Participants will receive an innovation scorecard and insights can be shared to build innovation capacity across the sector.

HOW THE INDEX IS CALCULATED
The Innovation index provides the non-profit sector with a year-on-year
assessment, to track and measure the innovation journey of this vital sector.
Our analysis celebrates achievements and highlights areas for improvement.
Survey questions
Each participant responds to a series of statements, regarding their
organisation’s capacity for innovation, leadership and adaptability.
