Recommended Application
Priming coat -Tobmastic 01 requires no blast cleaning
reducing time and cost with no compromise in
protection, It can be applied on most clean and sound
surfaces – reducing downtime.
Tobmastic 01 is optimal solution for difficult to reach
areas, where good surface preparation is not possible
or desirable.
Tobmastic 01 can be used over most generic types of
coatings. High surface tolerance and wetting
properties give deep penetration and thus better
adhesion and durability in harsh environments,
combined with a wider choice of solutions
Application procedure for Anti-corrosive coating:
1. Ensure surface of steel bars to be coated is dry, clean
and free from oil, grease and other contaminants.
2. Remove loose rusting particles and dust by Wire Brush
or any suitable mechanical tools.
3. Mix Tobmastic 01 Resin & Hardener in specified pro-
portion in disposable bowl thoroughly.
4. Apply mix mass uniformly in thin layer on steel bars
with help of brush or spray.
5. If required apply second coat of Tobmastic 01 after 3 –
4 hours of first coat application.
6. Allow to cure for minimum 48 - 72 hrs.
Mixing ratio
2 : 1 parts by weight (Resin : Hardener)
Pot-life
At 20 °C and 60% relative humidity approx. 30
minutes. Higher temperatures reduce, lower
temperatures increase pot-life.
Packaging:
2.0 kg, 10 kg and 45 kg tin containers
Application rate:
Depending on application between 0.2-0.25 kg/m²
Coverage on Metal (150μ coat)
Shelf-life:
At least 9 months in closed and unmixed, original
containers stored cool but frost-free
Drying time
At 20 °C and 60% relative humidity: foot traffic after
12 hours, mechanical loads after 3 days, fully cured
after 7 days. At lower temperatures correspondingly
longer. Protect the applied material from moisture
during the curing process (approx. 24 hours at 20 °C)
since the surface may be disturbed and adhesion
reduced otherwise.
Tools, cleaning
Smoothing trowel, toothed trowel, rubber wiper,
epoxy roller, spiked roller, mixing equipment, also
positive mixer. Clean tools and equipment
immediately while the material is still fresh with
Tob 100 Thinner.

The resin and hardener, when stored in their original containers and not exposed to undue heat or humidity as in
outdoor open shades, will have a minimum shelf life of 1 years. As far as possible, direct contact of resin and
hardener with the skin should be avoided as they might cause irritant on sensitive skins. It is advisable to wash off
immediately in case of skin contact. Special barrier creams and cleansing creams are available commercially as
additional safe guards. Please refer MSDS for detail safety instructions.
